I would like to buy one. I'm waiting on the next available batch. I am aware of the bugs that have been worked out. I just want to know why the last (16th)step especially noticeable on the kick drum is lower in volume in the beginning of your demo.. Great demo! I can't wait to get one. Congrats on yours. :)
Hi ! Hope This Doesn't Sound Too Much Of A Dumb Question . Do You Get Everything In The Latest Available Kit To Build A Complete Nava ? Awesome Demo , Love It ! Thanks , Much Appreciated .
monotrious , No you have to order some more stuff unfortunately ”All other components to complete your kit are available in this Mouser BOM: www.mouser.com/ProjectManager/ProjectDetail.aspx?AccessID=26a285d084 .The only component that you must get is a 15VAC supply 1000mA, the same used for the Yocto v1.0. A screen printed aluminium case will soon be available on the forum.”
what about noise i can ear , may be cable noise ? or componets noise ? becose i got tr9090 and got much noise cause de PSU .and don´t know to sleep noise :
if you get well organized, like sorting the parts before, it can be done faster. for me it took about 2 full days of work for the guts. longer to wait for the case, do some mods etc. ;-)
The "aged capacitor" thing is mostly mythology. Reality is, side-by-side units of the day sounded different from each other due to component tolerances. True of most analog synths going way back. Additionally, the sound most people think of as the 909 is what they hear on recordings. You know what? a huge amount of that is sampled and almost all of it includes a compressor and other effects.
It was just a *theory* BUT i heard alot of vieos on FB where they compared 1 to 1 and they sound exactly the same. And sure i know that mostly recorded 909´s been processed through FX units. Most ppl even never even heard a clean dry 909
wtf, this sounds better than the OG to me
The kick sounded mindblowing IRL
If behringer used these guts in there new version of the 909 there making that would be a match made in heaven.

Thanks, kick on step 13 is programmed to be lower :) no error
Is this a 1:1 copy of the electronics inside of a real tr-909?
not 100% sure but i think so, ba662 in handclap is modified to fit a ba6110 instead. sequenser is not cloned
Will you guys ever sell this ready to use?
Acidoo does demos :) have a look @ forums for sale or post a wtb : www.e-licktronic.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=31

acid I like your nava
Nice demo! I was wondering, where can I buy that or a similar keyboard stand for my Nava? Can't find any good ones
Search for thomann laptop stand clamp :)
Thanks!

Yes, it has some noise on kick-channel, there is a fix but I have not applied it yet. According to elicktronic this has been resolved on the new PCBs.
Jesus pelaez i
where did you get those buttons? they look great on Nava
All buttons are included in the kit, knobs are of a groupbuy in the forums. I have tr-909 "original" knobs för volume and data now.
Oh I see, I missed the group buy ...
How did you get the body/outer shell made?
It is/was available in the forums : www.e-licktronic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=797
acidoo.com Thanks so much! Hopefully they're still available. Was it difficult to build? I guess the Nava guts was the hardest?
its not that hard if you can solder , i spent about 3-4 hours a day for 14 days, i guess there are about 1000 components to solder

real gooooood
Hey i have my nava coming in soon i was wondering what are you using it to have it synced up with ableton and other instruments?
For sync i use midicables from midi out on my soundcard and then chain all devices. out>in
it sounds better then my tr909
it sounds def good
The Roland 909 sounds punchier. This "clone" sounds a little bit "cheap".
Funny, because all the circuits, except for the hand clap, are exact copies of the original.
Also **gasp** cleaner, though because the parts are brand new?
The original Units are way older ;) Guess its needs alot of Time to get *dirtier*
