Thanks for video - a very good instruction. Years ago I used that knot on saddle stuff, but never fully understood what I was doing, just copying an existing knot. You made it clear. Thank you
cut the top pull bottom through cut the bottom strap that is now up top close to the split of the first cut and then pull the original top piece where it is yet again at the top repeat as many times as needed for what you are working on.

Very nice! How wide and how thick is the leather you are using in this video?
it would have been nice to show in detail how to do the blood not. This guy knows how but failed to show anyone that does not know. how to do this.
What thickness of leather are you using?
This is a bleed knot!
How do I attach a clip for horse reins to a blood knot or mystery braid?
There is another guy the does a bleed knot on a dog leash that might answer this question
Leather is pretty durable but with that cut in and having a tug and pull over time does it not split open?
bleed knot
I couldn't see how he did it even with slowing down the video

Isn't it called a blEEdknot?
You did not explain how to tie a blood knot in any way. I couldn’t see what you were doing and u did not explain anything.
Seems like a perfect way to make ear savers for masks...
