The birds near to you sound unique. So great the ambience that nature provides aesthetically. Thank you for making and sharing this, I’m gonna try later today!
I think you have done really well for your first video. You explained it really well, especially for such as me that are just into leather craft, and slow enough to be able to work along with you. Thank you look forward to your next one.
That’s awesome!!! I’d love to see how yours came out! Post a pic in our FB group…. facebook.com/groups/RKLeather/permalink/3327249464174758/?mibextid=S66gvF
It’s called a ‘HK hook’ as in Heckler & Koch the German firearms manufacturer , it’s their standard sling hook the hole at the bottom is so another hook can be attached to it so your rifle sling can be changed from a 2points of contact sling to a single point sling .
I love a good bleed knot. The hook is called an Olecranon hook. I had to research it when I received a custom order. It took me forever to remember it’s name. Haha
@@RKLeather Definitely helped me! I made one of these Keychains using suede! It’s beautiful...except I used a regular round key ring! First time doing it and it is stunning.
I'm a DIY guy,i learned something useful.thank you.
Thank you for the feedback

These are awesome! I’m just getting into leather working, Ty for the video :) personally I didn’t have a problem following along.
Nice simple knot, explained simply. Thanks Robert. Great way to use scraps!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for the information. I was doing them wrong which explains why they would unravel. Much appreciated.
I do like it. Thank you.
Definitely the clearest explanation! Good video...
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you for showing thoroughly how to make a bleed knot. Really appreciate your video. I love leather works. Greetings Maria
You are so welcome!
This is a good instructional video. You should do more. Thank you.
Thank you for teaching this technique. I am going to try to make this for a purse handle 😊
That sound like it will look cool! Glad I could help.
Seems like the bleed knot would add strength to the end of the strap. Very helpful info. Have you ever made any leather toggles?
I’ve been wanting to learn this. I watched several tutorials and I found yours to be the best! Thank you, I now mastered the bleed knot!

Liked video. I would like to try that. I need to see if I get some bands aids first just in case.
It’s really easy once you get the hang of it…
Nice video. Thanks.
Thank you!
I've been wondering how to do something for a motorcycle helmet project, and this video helped solidify a major part!
Thank you :)
I’m glad I could help you out.

Oo man! That’s awesome.
Thanks!!!
I would love to know what knife you are using!
Are you talking about the Roller Knife?
I don't know what the clip is called, exactly, but I love the tutorial!
Thanks!
Tolle Arbeit. Top. 👍👍👍
Thanks!
Many thanks for the video. I really like this knot. Just one thing is not clear enough for me, do you make the cuts on the same side every time?
No you have to cut each side to make this work.
Thnx . It was great help
Often sold as Heckler & Koch clip.
Cool deal, I’ll look those up.
Thanks
It looks to me like a "clash hook" (Conventional Latch Attachment Snap Hook). ITW makes them.
Thanks!
There’s a leather strap behind you, that has a narrow strip woven along it. Can you tell me what that technique is called please?
At what part of the video?
@@RKLeather thank you for your reply. It’s near the beginning. It’s on the wall behind your left shoulder
I'm brand new to leatherworking...Where did you get that cutting board? Looks useful for lots of projects
That cutting mat is from Walmart or Hobby Lobby. It’s a friskers mat.
@@RKLeather thank you
@@HorseObsessedGrrl you are welcome
Sling lever is what it is called.
Spring Clip...
Thanks! I knew the name at one point, when I ordered them probably!
@@RKLeather You’re welcome...You’re tutorial was awesome. I’m new to leather work...
I'm glad to hear I've helped someone!!!

AWESOME!!! I used the round key for the smaller one and I think it works better...
Made a mandolin strap
That sounds awesome!
you have taken a simple operation and turned it into something complex
How so?
