Hello Brock and Damon... 1978 Rogers High grad here; 1982 UW. Respect the heck out of the both of you. I've watched McCarthy several times. Can't discount his record, but I think he does it on the back of that defense. I keep coming back to their strength of schedule -- 49th according Sagarin. If we can put together that elusive "clean game," we win by 10+.
I love these men! I think you two could give the Kelce brothers a run for there money for top Podcast by two NFL brothers. Keep them coming! Talk about it all guys!
One second left...UT throws to their best wide receiver against Richard Sherman... #25 knocks it away. That was the Texas podcasts yesterday . Jackson plays good, we win.
I am thankful that the Puyallup Boys are doing this great podcast. I had 37-24, so Brock won. I caught the biggest fish, so we will give him the brag. #7 keeps blitzing LB out of the pretty nest. Dillon is the best blocking RB in college football. Keep Mike Clean. We outscore them 41-17. UW is a nemesis to 14 teams. Closer than it should have been, and they are getting better each game. America will finally see the first QB taken off the board in April. I'm predicting overall, this will be their best game of the year. How is them hot take Apples, UM?
Yep Damon is right on, I drove in on Saturday night I live in Austin but born in Washington so I'm a longtime Huskies fan friend flew in from Seattle and it was a blast. We got to our hotel at the Marriott and it was the Longhorns headquarters where the team and fans were staying didn't even plan that talked to a few Longhorn players in the lobby on Sunday. The game as we all know was insane We were a play away or two from pulling away and putting it out of reach so many times. What a rollercoaster ride that game was the momentum kept going back and forth and that final minute almost killed me I couldn't watch so I went down and one knee and gave a quick prayer that we would win seriously and it worked.
The brothers rock! It is refreshing an insightful getting Damon's input and they have a great rapport. It is indeed a great time to be a Husky fan! Like most everyone else that strength of schedule thing is what I believe may be the deal breaker . UM hasn't seen anything even close to this passing juggernaut. There is no way to even get a read on how the will try to defend against it or who they have that could possibly stop Michael Penix, Rome Odunze and the Joe Moore Trophy line. To put this in perspective, look at opponents team passing rankings - Washington’s(the #1) Pac12 opponents team passing rankings: Oregon 2 twice, Washington State 4, USC 5, Arizona 7, then- Oregon State 52, Stanford 58, Cal 75, Arizona State 89, Utah 121. Pac 10 has five of the top seven ranked teams, in the nation! It explains in part some of the close games for the Huskies. On the other hand, Michigan’s (the #74) Big 10 opponents team passing rankings: Maryland 22,Ohio State 31,Illinois 36,Wisconsin 71,Indiana 85,Purdue 87,Michigan State 99,Minnesota 128,Rutgers 129,Nebraska 131,Iowa 132. No Pac10 team had the opportunity to play any conference team with a ranking under 121 unlike the four Michigan played! No wonder Michigan in particular and the Big ten conference as a whole has lopsided defensive numbers. The top ranked passing team Michigan played being top 25 unraked Maryland at 22, UM won by 7. While UW on the other hand played all to 25 ranked -2 twice, 4,5 and 7, a total of five games against far superior teams. Remember TCU ? Bow Down!
DeBoer should have also kicked the FG in the 1st half instead of going for it on 4th & 1. We still would have been up 9 and the ending would be a non-issue.
I spent my HS days selling hot dogs and drinks at UW Football games back in the early 60's. I haven't watch them this year except for the Texas Game and was shocked to see the high level the QB played. This team will be providing plenty of talent to this years NFL draft. At first I thought OC was pretty bright but his clock management was so bad early in the 2nd half I started to worry and it was justified almost costing them the game. They really need to get a handle on that aspect of their game next Monday.
Everyone talks about how good they are when underdogs.... I think that shifts.... I sensed in this game.... it's no longer being the under dawg that fuels them... as much as they now have the belief they are actually believing they are better... that was a belief that used to be a staple in UW football..... nice to see that return....
Michigan doesn't think Washington is tough enough for them! PAC teams are soft; Oregon, USC, Utah and now Washington! We saw Caleb Williams of USC crying on the sidelines with his mom covering his face from the cameras after a loss! That's the picture the college football world sees about PAC teams. The moms of Washington 's players will be saying, "Don't cry my little baby" after the Big Ten's Michigan gets done with you !!!
It will be a replay of the 1991 college championship game between UW vs Michigan. And UW will win! Why? The Huskies are fulfilling their own prophecy of them returning to the CFP title game with a new flawless record of 14-0(as compared to the 12-0 undefeated 🏆 record from the 1991 team)! The Huskies won that 1991 matchup! It is sort of like how Constantinople was created by Constantine with his Mom being named Helen. And the prophecy is that of the downfall of Constantinople. This will come into fruition when the current ruler is named Constantine and his mom being named Helen. This is the end of the reign of Michigan! Go Dawgs! U-Dub! Bow Wow!
Husky's chew their food well, no choking. (You are right, though. It would have been a script for a TV show, instead of a great College Football game. Crazy!)
Maybe The Boys In The Boat, that were the Best In The World, might have brought a higher level of Recognition. I love Husky Football, but I Love My Oars too
This is irrelevant now, but the thing that I never understood is, after hearing ad nausem, that UW “HAS THREE NFL WRs and the GREATEST QB IN THE GAME!” Over and over and over. And yet, paradoxically, that UW had a record breaking season of single digit winning games. Why were the games all so razor thin close if the UW O was so NFL and so unstoppable? Michigan revealed the answer to that Q. Convincingly.
Every team that beats Alabama thinks that they are the cream of the crop , Michigan is no different!! Should of sent new Mexico State to the rose bowl 😂
@@RickHorejsi I agree with you 100%. No disrespect, but it was a little bit of a down Bama, and that gives people a big head and inflated belief. think UW will load the box, defend 1:1, and let’s see who wins that way. UW 38, UM 24.
Backwards jockstrap 😂. To my fellow 73er, you see it quite well. Go, Dawgs! When the Huskies win, maybe play the thong song for the Wolverine funeral precession.
The Blue and Maize or gold? Backwards jock strap on the helmet? old Hutch helmet design. We've enjoyed watching you Dawgs this season, hope all goes well and no one gets hurt. Try to tone that down the disrespect a little bit, we haven't done anything to you yet. Go blue.
Can W beat M and upset them ? > Yes ! --- Will they ? --- Probably not. - - - Of all what's needed to slow Penix down - and - enough to beat them - it is this M team !!! = 34 -- 24 > M to win it all. -- (why) -- Because -- M is built - ''exactly'' - like what is needed to win.
I'm trying to find the clown who said washington struck fesr into michingan...I will settle for these two clowns... Washington had no business in that title game

The OC might be the best coordinator in the country… don’t think you were that justified after watching one game.
The clock was just fine until the injury. That was just a freak occurrence.
