Why Don't People Play this Blaster MORE in Splatoon 3?

- Since the the S-Blast received a buff i've grown to really like it lately! Understandably people play use this Blaster due to how much more demanding it is compared to something like a range blaster. Playing it more with its unique burst combo and how fast it can develop a Booyah bomb it has become a very FUN blaster to play in Splatoon 3!

It’s like having a Luna and a Rapid in one weapon with a really fun kit as well
SBlast 91 always had a huge amount of potential because of the Burst Bomb and Booyah Bomb kit. I just wish anyone at top level could at least try it. It's both fun and strong at the same time with the kit.
I play this kit alot and it's so freaking fun! I love it
but the gun is not consistent on top level where the short range mode ain’t that much range and even with the radius buff of the long range mode is hard to use
@@archflamingo9156 Disagree youre just regurgitating the words of some players who havent really thought about it and just do the status quo.
The SBlast projectile velocity is so much faster than something like range or regular blaster that getting directs is much easier than those, but it has the option to deal with people getting close unlike the range or people going far unlike the standard. Its very consistent.

This weapon helped me improve my aim with the other one shot blasters and I still play this the most to this day

The fast projectile speed on s-blast honestly makes it so satisfying to use, like a hybrid of a blaster with a squiffer
I love that you played S-Blast. It was already my favorite blaster mainly for the perfect accuracy it has and the burst bomb kit made it my favorite blaster kit in s3.

i have NEVER played that blaster yet, but dang it looks fun!! especially seeing one of my favorite youtubers play it makes me wanna play it even more lmao
I was quite surprised that this weapon is rarely seen despite its very great kit. Heck, I even see Tri-Stringers WAY more in matches than this, despite people saying that Stringers have average kits.
From what i heard, S-Blast is more complex and requires more commitment when compared to some other weapons. I guess having a great kit isn't always an automatic success for a weapon😕
In other words, it has the potential of a high or top tier, but playing it well enough to make it reach that level is much harder than even something like the Splat Dualies or Splatana Stamper.
Great kit and not an automatic success applies for Clash Blaster too
As an S Blast player, this puts a smile to my face.
It’s in a weird spot being stuck in the middle between Range and Luna. The jumping mechanic takes time and patience to get used to. Blaster mains probably don’t want to deal with it so they just stick to the weapons they already use. S Blast is ideal for someone who doesn’t use blasters but want to give it a try, making it a niche weapon.
I like DUDE making videos on these nicher but still useable weapons in order to keep open queue more interesting, it's a noble deed of him
I love blasters they are my favorite weapon type in splatoon they are just so fun to play

This is one weapon that I understand HOW to play, but just consistently CANNOT play it well. This clips are insane haha love seeing people shred with all sorts of different kits!

4:17 Is that gear you should run with S-blast or is it just abilities you like to run? Every S-blast I see run stealth jump, QR, and Comeback as the main abilities.
He's just running gear that he likes to run but ya you should use come back and qr and stealth jump with S blast

Does anyone remember that one song in DUDE’s old Splatoon 1 videos? It had a guitar in it and sounded like it was a Sonic song but I’ve never heard it in any Sonic game I’ve ever played. It was probably something from the GameCube/PS2/Original Xbox era.

I just started using s blast to grind x rank. I think the reason it’s not used is cause most of the time the burst bomb combo doesn’t work and it’s really infuriating

Im not sure, IMO its one if not the best blaster just for its versatility and amazing kit nut it ALSO has the fasted projectile velocity. Ive tried to understand the comp communities thoughts on it and literally all ive gathered is "its rate of fire is slower than other blasters by like 1/10th of a second and that matters" but... so? in what situation are two blaster players 1v1ing and also starting to shoot at the exact same moment? In that case youd end up trading anyway. But then theres dozens of weapons that are picked with lower rates of fire so... huh?
I really dont get it, I dont think that the people claiming this have thought about it hard enough and are just doing whatever is in the meta status quo.

Mostly the downfall of the main weapon. I personally love it and have it in my pool. It's an amazing weapon, but it is competing with range blaster and not having that aoe at the end really hinders its ability to be a blaster and effect as much. Tldr: range outclasses it

because range blaster is easier and has about the same level of reward.
The reason not a lot of people use this blaster is because not a lot of people use blasters.
Dude you're literally playing the only game modes where blasters are good, slayer ones. I chew on blasters in zones and turf. They're ok-ish in rainmaker because you just have to slay and not paint.
It’s painting is so bad, it rarely gets its booyah bomb despite only being 190p.
Perhaps we treated sprinkler too harshly
Painting is an issue with any blaster though
booyah is not the selling point anyways
I'd strongly recommend 1 or 2 subs of Special Saver for this blaster, particularly over special charge up, because you will be dying a fair amount with the weapon.

For any one reading this, is it worth to get a switch for Splatoon 3? Assuming the last splatfest happened and all.
no. god no. lots of disconnects because tons of kids play on their school's wifi. the matchmaking is worse than it was on release somehow. so you get a team of low tier weapons and get spawncamped because of it. constantly. i saw 5 brand new players yesterday. they got ravaged by players who probably have 4+ years experience. doubt they had fun. theres also a really frustrating gacha system. with that said theres plenty of good switch exclusives. just not splatoon 3

Skill issue. I, along with DUDE if you actually watched the video, have had lots of success with it.
@@dometalican1990 Well, considering I am X rank and have played Splatoon religiously since July 2015 when I got the first game, I will kindly tell you guys to eat rocks with that "skill issue" nonsense. Sorry, but you're allowed to think a weapon sucks and the S-Blast definitely sucks. I'm not a big fan of blasters in general and the S-Blast is the worst out of all of them.
