My 8 year old daughter got his autograph at Scare Fest in Kentucky last weekend and he thought she was alone with no family. He kept an eye on her as she exited the line and made sure she got back somewhere safe (we were watching from a short distance away) and then gave us a thumbs up when she got to us. He then came out of the line and walked over to us to compliment our big family (we have 5 kids). He is such a genuinely nice and caring man. You can tell how much he cares about kids.
Me too! His portrayal of Ray in that 2005 TV movie is so special. I wish I had ended up with a man like Ray in real life, but he's a written character, there are no real men like Ray! The two female writers wrote a wonderful movie and Hallmark film did great making it for TV. The entire cast is great. So glad I found it here on you tube, came upon it last week, had never heard of it. The title of it was what got me to watch it. Only actor I knew in it was Keri Russell, she was good in her film, "Waitress", so I took a chance on this one and so glad I did. Skeet's portrayal of Ray is just wonderful, he and Keri made us believe it.
@@jaym8094 It's such a heartwarming, sweet story and Skeet was absolutely fantastic, as was Keri. I've watched it several times; it has a simple, yet profound message.
The fact that he recognized that about that small town and decided to not raise his kids there because of that makes me admire him even more. As beautiful as many small towns are in America, that really is the main problem with them. Also...he was so flirting with Rachel.
To be fair, it is a problem with some small towns but not all, and probably not even the majority. There is plenty of racism within major cities as well. It comes down to the individual people and the common attitude that is considered acceptable. I grew up in the Midwest in small towns and small areas and while I've met racist individuals, I've never seen it farspread where it's the common opinion. Most people I've known are decent and accepting. I don't say this to argue, just that it's become a thing people say, that small towns are all like this and Europeans seem to have this idea of America, but living here myself, I don't see it that way. It's not my personal experience.
Frankly, you were lucky. It's actually a lot more common than people think. Granted, not every small town. But, many towns are that way. @@mikametcalf3783
I just met him at a comic expo here in the city I live in, and he was SOOOO SWEET and SOOOOO humble. What a nice guy and he's soooooo hot in person. So so hot.
What a wonderful man and great father. The fact that his children adore him and are in stable relationships says so much about him. His goodness shines through in his acting. Ever since The Magic of Ordinary Days, I've been a fan.
Loved Skeet in Jericho ! He is so lucky to speak to you ladies 🙂 I grew up having a military dad so his mention of the means , chews etc all sparked a memory
How are there not more likes and comments on here? This was a fascinating interview. It's cool seeing all these actors just talking in a quiet setting and being genuine. It's like watching friends hanging out after dinner. Skeet still has the demeanor of a small town guy from the south, not like a Hollywood type, and that is a huge compliment. And I love that you mentioned Joanna Newsom playing in The Strangers, because I loved that creepy song skipping in the trailer and had to search it, and that was how I found her music. It's so gorgeously ethereal. And she is now married to Andy Samberg and seems like an interesting artist.
I smile at people all the time when I see people it drops their guard and opens them up if someone is having a bad day it can immediately improve their mood. they will smile back and it can make that person be open to talking to someone.
This was a terrific interview and wow he has been through a LOT 😳 Skeet could have chosen a terrible path but he definitely chose the right path . His story about waking up in the operating room ! 😳😃absolutely an angel there , someone had to be praying for that boy ! God surely has had a plan for this man’s life !
Love his character of Ray in that film. I wish I had ended up with a man like "Ray", in real life; there are no men like Ray in real life, they don't exist.
not Rache getting all dressed up and flirty! I get it, I've read despicable fanfics about the man. I don't think ill ever be able to look him in the eyes!!!
Wow. I can't imagine having twins or even just one child and not wanting to care for them, protect them and raise them everyday. My wish was to have twins actually. I wasn't sure I'd do pregnancy/birth more than once lol! But, I also wanted any future kids I had to have a decent and good man for a father that would be there for them as much as I would be. I just seem to attract men that are not even good boyfriends let alone husbands or fathers. Now, I've pretty nearly aged out of having even one child. That is never something I thought would happen. Despite my best dating efforts and endurance I just didn't meet the right guy for me or even a just decent guy. So, I am childless when I always knew I wanted to be a mother. I didn't care what I did for work but I knew I wanted children and that my main job would be my kids regardless of whatever profession I decided on. It's a heartbreaking reality. Especially, when you see people that should never have had children by the way they talk to them and treat them. That really stings. The people that also just don't fully appreciate the gift they have in their children is also heartbreaking. I only know what it is like from the way my Dad treated us and the way he talked about having me and my siblings. But I can imagine it but I'll just never experience it myself. My best hope at this point is to be lucky enough to possibly have the opportunity to be a step-parent should I meet the right man and that man has a child or children. Whatever I could add to any child's life in that capacity I would be happy to do. That would be a blessing I'd happily accept and do my best.
I think Skeet is trying to solve his childhood Trauma and looks for crazy women, as we all, when unhealed, looked for a Partner who reminds us of our biggest Trauma in childhood.

I "fell for him " in the film "The Magic of Ordinary Days" and he hasn't lost that appeal! Intelligent, handsome and very grounded.
So did I!

After everything he’s been through I’m glad he is such an amazing genuine person. He gives the best hugs in the world. I’ve met him 3 times now
Skeet is such a great father …he lights up when he talks about the twins. Love a man that puts his kids first! ❤️

Me gusta esta entrevista. Me da la impresión que el actor responde con naturalidad. 🤔🤭😍
I've recently watched several interviews with Skeet. By far, this is the best! Rachel and Olivia are THE BEST interviewers!
This was a wonderful interview, we really got to know him.
Rachel is so giddy when guys are flirty hahahaha I think it’s so funny. I think they’d make an adorable couple
Skeet and his brother are walking miracles...Skeet, especially so.
I love how Rachel feels attracted to him like a young girl to her teenage crush

Skeet is amazing! I have loved him since scream but now I love him more

Asking Skeet ALL the right questions! I laughed with you guys, loved this podcast!
Rachel can't take her eyes off him.
I didn’t think Skeet Ulrich could get any sexier and then he says Skinny Puppy. 😍
Olivia is so attractive, its almost upsetting.
Great episode! I loved the chemistry and flow! ❤
He is so fine even more so in the movie THE MAGIC OF ORDINARY DAYS 💕
Loved that movie one I can watch over and over

Skeet!!! so excited for this!
I’m 40 and Scream came out when I was in 5th grade. That 35 year old was only 7.
Huh? 35 year old? He was 26 when Scream came out. 54 now
not Rache getting all dressed up and flirty! I get it, I've read despicable fanfics about the man. I don't think ill ever be able to look him in the eyes!!!
This interview made me cry and made me laugh.
Fabulous conversation ❤
I don't remember movies unless it's a classic and have seen it several times.
Literally never heard of any of these guests. Are they well known in the states?
If you were a teen in the 90s america (which I am and they are)
Yes..
The Craft made me think I could or was a witch! 🧙🏽♀️✌🏽🩷
I love Skeet I love him as Billy Loomis

She's too old for him lol
I AGREE. You could tell there is something there
He kept looking at olivia
Dude you're the same age as me!! First movie came out in 1996. So I was 6. So he was NOT in 5th grade...
I'd Luv to see his reaction to seeing what a "Skeet" means in my province of Newfoundland 😆 it ain't good
Not a good dating choice, for anyone. Genuine is attractive.
If he's 35 he was literally in 1st grade when Scream came out lol
He is 54
Skeet ,,, I do ❤
He is MINE
It can seem like normal because you've been exposed to it so much or not at all.

He's so fine 🥵
RACHEL --- jump on this for sure!
