    Motherhood is crazy, I almost died after giving birth to my second kid and i remember waking up from surgery and having to just kick into mum mode because I had a newborn to look after.

    I love how open she is talking about Hayden. You can tell they have so much love, trust and respect for each other still. What more could you ask for. Would love to see him on the podcast. He’s usually so private and sometimes uncomfortable in interviews but I bet if Rachel and Olivia interviewed him it would be like no other interview before because he’d feel comfortable. The ratings on that podcast would be unreal I bet if they could convince him. I’d also love it to show all those Rachel haters that yes they still are in each others lives and he doesn’t hate her like people claim or vice versa.

    Okay so I love the conversation overall with Sarah and it was informative and very interesting. I write a lot of comments on podcasts that I regularly listen to and/or watch so I was a bit offended by her saying that her life was too full to bother leaving comments and reviews but then I remembered that my kids are grown and I have tons and tons of time at my disposal now…. lol
    As for the comments about most people being pleasant and reasonably polite when Olivia is out and about, I have to say it must be nice being a beautiful slender Caucasian lady because I have a slightly different perspective. Speaking towards Sarah’s ethnic friend who lives in a small town with her white husband, folks in small towns are generally good salt of the earth people who don’t have much sophistication. They get much of their opinions from the news or bad experiences that a friend of a friend had out of town, they don’t mean any harm but the closest many of them might have gotten to someone with Japanese ancestry is watching “Pearl Harbour” on late night movies….
    It’s shocking that someone on set actually spat in Sarah’s face during “Prison Break”, people have some nerve?… Imagine being at any other workplace and a coworker spits in a lady’s face at work…. If it had been my spouse I would’ve been down waiting for them to come outside of work on Friday to teach them a real lesson about respecting others and ramifications of failure to do so…

    See like it’s interesting to see how relationships can be changed if you’re an actor. So thank you Rachel for being more open to that topic and your personal experience. I’m trying to get into more gigs for acting but also want to date. So it’s nice to see both sides.

    This episode hit different today. I love this show because I'm Summer and Seth all day but I grew to love the real Rachel and Olivia are my new 💓 thanks for speaking up for the reality in entering motherhood. ❤

    First time i listen about post l trauma but i find it interesting to think that everything you cannot talk or express, due to an emotion or feeling usually leads to some expression (synthome) on soma, the body or the mind. Being embarass about how you feel or think is a problem that most people think will never experience and then its harder to adress than if we just get good information towards living such an event like having a child. theres also this identification btw the self and the thought that confuses people all the time, we are not just thoughts. Anyway the dog being "judgy"? haha "i can do it better, human" - I was wondering, on this idea, since I felt Sarah was like the Golden retriever, they seem to be happy all the time, like a dolphin but we should know better. Being happy is not compatible with a "must" list.

    I mean I can imagine dating a person you saw play a character in a movie or tv show and thinking that is what they are like when in reality they are different so if you don’t go into that date or relationship with a open mind and wanting to meet and see who this person really is , then you should not date a actress or actor. I think some people go into these relationships having a certain mindset

      I can understand being amazed to be going out with a celebrity that you have “crushed” on from watching on a weekly basis, thinking it’s a dream come true. I have to believe that ends quickly though because the character isn’t the actress and though it’s her body and voice they must see Rachel as a different identity pretty quickly… Obviously the physical attraction is still going to be off the charts but Rachel is much deeper and interesting than what Summer was on the OC even after the entire run of the series.

    I love the podcast but sometimes the video quality makes it hard to watch. Sarah’s webcam was poor and Rachel at the end has the blurring filter whilst everyone is clear

    • @jlancerx
      @jlancerx 5 місяців тому

      she doesn't have a blurring filter on, the camera wasn't properly focused, you can tell as the plant behind her was crystal clear.

      Easy fix if it’s difficult to watch the episode, close your eyes and simply listen. Sarah’s podcast is audio only she’s said I believe and many are, we’re here for the conversation not to check out what they’re wearing… lol.
      Now mind you none of these ladies are hurting my eyes looking at them,
      wink-wink-nudge-nudge…

      @@user-Balthazar669 of course that’s an easy fix I can listen on Spotify lol. I like to watch the videos to get a better sense of the podcast. Obviously if the quality is poor it’s pointless so audio only it is for instances like this. I’m not watching to see ‘what they’re wearing’ haha
