- Lewis Hamilton notched the 104th win in his career in the most dramatic and special circumstances, making Mercedes one of the hottest topics on the grid right now. The team has managed to win two races in a row and the team doesn't plan to stop here as latest statements made by Hamilton and Allison indicates that we will have two very competitive W15's. But with mid-season development closing the top pack-up tightly, can Mercedes challenge Red Bull and McLaren for the race victory at Hungary?

The W15 is good on tracks that needs a compromise. Straight tracks, Merc is about 2 tenths behind. So hopefully these upgrades solves that problem.

Him coming back to the F1 division made a huge difference.
If Ferrari want to compete, they will need Adrian Newey, they simply aren't going to match McLaren, Mercedes or Red Bull without him.
I just can’t wait to see what Lewis is capable of pulling out of the car they will have. They know what’s on the line and they also know, what they are capable of, with one of the greatest of all time. I’ll say this, with Lewis having the insight of what it takes for a competitive car, with his veteran experience and Ferrari giving that respect, they will be over the top once again. Those are going to be the key factors, In addition to the pit crew’s performance. If that ever aligns, look out. We’ve already seen what they are capable of, make no mistake.

Exactly I must of watched a different race. Lewis should of went with hards at the end.
And George was even faster before the rain hit. Mercedes had the pace.
@@rozburg yeah Russell was faster but Hamilton said that his strategy was to pit late so he was saving tires until rain came because he would have to change tires either way because of the rain

In the post race Max even said that Mercedes'has had the fastest car for the last 2 races.

2 races 😂. In austria Russel who was the lead Mercedes was like 16 seconds behind Max and Lando befrie the crash.
And in quali Russel was half a second slower than Max. So it thats true Max Said that i dont know what hes on😂.

Allison has turned the W15 into quite the monster of a machine. It definitely has more to come, not so sure about Red Bulls development though.
So, just waiting for more Merc and Hamilton wins this season.
Yes, I don’t see more Red Bull great upgrades without cheating and going over the cost cap.

Should think George will have something to say about that. Got unlucky at the British GP but has been faster than Lewis for the most part in race and qualy
Since Adrian Newey resigned, they also excluded him from technical meetings and from that exact moment, things started going downwards for RB.
Coincidence? Let's think back of 2021 when Newey had is bicycle accident. The races he wasn't there, the team struggled with car balance and other issues.
Newey is just that guy.

I mean there is 2 parts to this. Charles had the issue. Looking at Sainz and Ricardo Adami's conversation about strategy, they were so clear, and accurate. They made the proper calls.
This probably might be a communication issue that Charles and his race engineer must solve on their own.

Russel still young but no agresif enough as favourite driver
Still has much more to learn. He should make some decisions I believe from the cockpit for himself. The engineers are not always correct, a driver has to develop a gut feeling.
Lewis has that, Seb Vettel had that, Max has that at peak form. Russell and Lando specially have to develop that skill...
I hope mercedes keeps everything legal on the car....
I like how Ferrari just doesnt exist in the talk anymore, i hope they will dittch this year and switch next years car development instead to make it better than others while to p3 will be bussy battling with each other.
Next year is moslty the same car from these year all teams will work on 2026s car
@@MohamedOsama-zf6vw emm you do know that ferrari will have new car next year. New chassis rbr mclaren style anad also cockpit moved back for ham so better start now and write this year off sicne budget cap doesnt allow them any huge changes anymore.

The upgrades for the next 2 races will be strategic, not like Ferrari and Aston Martin.
Idk But its seems like when Red Bull is on DRS its really really moves faster than other cars…thats what i have noticed
The RB20 still has the most efficient DRS system. One reason is the wings design itself.

Mercedes were the fastest car untill the rain and wrong tyre choice on the last stint what u on about ?
Mercedes are the only ones to blame for the poor start of the season with the W15 and drivers.
They knew what they were up against and the situation with Lewis leaving the team,therefore trying to make Russell look good when most people in the sport knows his true ability compares to the likes of Max, Lando and even Charles.
Russel is 100% better than Norris. Maybe on the same same skill with Leclerc. But he is atm the only driver with max with these insane mindset.
George was nearly 2 tenths faster than Lewis in qualifying and had slightly less down force. Had he not been stopped, George would have been fast at the end of the race and probably would have taken Lewis.

Mercedes definitely had the pace to match the McLarens in Silverstone, they weren't ultimately quicker but were certainly at least within a tenth or two

@@user-ux3jk8cd6z Over the full race duration Hamilton was the fastest man *overall* 👍 and that was in the 2nd or 3ed fastest car when looking at top speed.

Lewis going to Ferrari, Mas going to mercedes.
It's not so much about W15 potential as it is about Mercedes prioritizing the right driver if they have a capable car. Max is very far up the road, there is only one driver Max fears on that grid, it's the one the FIA had to steal a championship from to hand to Max. Let's hope Mercedes don't make the same mistake Ferrari made not prioritizing Vettel in 2017.

Not yet, people......not yet....be patient! Merc will get there for sure....but not quite yet!! of course they will be in the fight. But not as the fastest overall. Red Bull is STILL the fastest. Make NO mistake about it.
