Love it love it love it!!! First person in the fitness industry I’ve seen speak without candy coating shat and saying what everyone needs to hear!!! I love your channel, you are the true embodiment of personal accountability and growth from it! People make excuses why they can’t do this and that! Well… if I can come from being an opiate/heroin/fentanyl addict at 6’3” and 160lbs to now over 3 years later clean and sober and 220 pounds of solid shredded muscle! Been training like my life depends on it every other day for a little over 2 years and holding myself accountable and doing it when I’m tired, sick, unmotivated. And I’ve never missed a training session! Thank you for all you do Mark, you have no idea how much affect your audience and how much inspiration and motivation it gives me! 🙏
When I was the director wellness for a large healthcare system in Tampa Bay, I implemented a program for employees to really take back their lives. Of all the benefits you mentioned that come from not being fat, the best one reported by one of our male nurses was something he said that I couldn’t put on the reports. When he was going over his numbers, almost 80 pounds lost, strength increase, A12 bellow 5.7, blood pressure in normal range. He was so happy. But the best thing about losing the weight he said was “the way I can really give it to my wife like I used to!” Best reason ever!
Agreed. Crazy thing is as I can sit in a group of people and eat McDonald’s and nobody even pays attention. But if I sit down with a protein shake and a fruit bowl, people look at me like I’m a fucking alien?🤣🤣
The land whale epidemic is truly getting out of hand. Maybe it's just because I'm thinking about it more, but it seems like more and more people are starting to have a generally unhealthy and sick look to them -- regardless of whether or not they're fat (but especially when they are).
That’s a strange thing to say when the main cause of type 2 diabetes is being overweight, obese, and physical inactivity. All things that are directly influenced by ones lifestyle.
@@Kingcuts91 For those of you out there who are tracing disease to lifestyle, all I can do is quote the eloquent words of Layne Norton, suitably paraphrased, to wit -- "frack you."
@@VernCrisler A disease that is caused by metabolic disfunction due to lack of exercise and a "bad" diet. Yeah, that's a lifestyle disease. You can quote Layne all you want, he would agree it's a lifestyle disease lbvs.

Type 2 diabetes is not a lifestyle disease. There is no such thing as a lifestyle disease. But I do like the idea of fat shaming libertarians....

It literally is a lifestyle disease

Try getting it while eating a healthy diet, not in a massive caloric surplus, and being active and see how well it works
