    Video Transcript:
Have you ever accidentally deleted a file or folder in Google Drive and immediately regretted it? Or maybe you're trying to recover an important document you thought you wouldn't need anymore. Fear not! Google Drive has a built-in feature that allows you to recover deleted files, giving you a second chance to retrieve those important documents. The only thing to keep in mind is that you'll only be able to see and restore Google Drive files deleted within the last 30 days. Any files older than 30 days will be permanently deleted and no longer visible.
Step 1. Open a web browser and navigate to Drive.Google.com. Log into your Google account if prompted. You'll land on your Google Drive home screen.
Step 2. Click "Trash" in the menu on the left side of the screen. Trash for My Drive is displayed on the right side of your screen. This is where you'll see all of the Google Drive files you've deleted.
If you see any files you want to restore, you can restore them by clicking the vertical ellipses associated with those files to open a menu, and then clicking "Restore." That file will be restored immediately.
