so helpful but I have a file that still says access is denied even after trying all these. When using ulocker, it says file deleted but it never deletes. It just pops back up right after a refresh

I’m trying to use the command prompt to delete the file but my issue is that it has no location to direct the command. The computer doesn’t say it’s in a location or a folder or anything to direct it. Just a 25 gigabyte file floating around somewhere on my c drive that I can’t do anything about
Maybe it's a system file?

Howdy. Very nice.
I would like to suggest two more methods.
1. Run chkdsk /f on the drive where the file or folder is. Two times chkdsk fixed a drive for me. Then the file could be deleted.
2. Boot into Linux. Then there will be no linkage to windows services. It should be possible to delete the file or folder in Linux. I boot Ubuntu from a flash stick. In try mode. Not in install mode. Ubuntu will load entirely in RAM and not mess with the OS hard drive.

I *FINALLY* found a method that works for me. It was the third one. Come to find out, the helper who suggested this method mistyped the string. Thanks to your tutorial, I was able to delete this stubborn PDF that was corrupted by it somehow assigning itself a random file name that was, like, 100 characters long. *THANK YOU!!!* 💯💯🙏🏾🙏🏾💪🏾💪🏾👍🏾👍🏾🔥🔥

We can also use a Linux live cd or usb to delete these undeletable file. Just boot from the live cd/usb and access the windows partiton/folder to delete files, but don't touch the C:\windows folder.
IDK how you fix it if the the things name half has no name because of OBS crash

Delete a Folder is: RD /S /Q and click the context menu on the folder, then click Copy as path to CMD

Make sure that this file is not a system file.
