I love your honest, comprehensive reviews of projects. It’s realistic and holds companies to what one would except when you invest in a building such as this. 👍
Love the racks for all the tools - so tidy and well-organized! And even the side of the metal tarp that you said was the most disorganized looked pretty neat to me. It’s clear how thoughtful you and Clay are about keeping your gear working well and safe from the elements. Bravo!
You two look wonderful. I look forward to seeing how the trees you planted are doing this spring. I am also excited to see your home someday, the new one that you plan with passive solar green house. I enjoy your videos & thank you for sharing your life with us.
This was so much fun to watch come together! I look forward to more of these “catch-up” videos of what you and Clay have been doing over the past few months. Congratulations of the quack grass removal strategy with the black tarp and summer sun!
What a great idea…a Metal Tarp! Terrific storage by a company you could work well with! So well thought out for the equipment and many other things that need storage with protection and convenient to use. Was neat to see the build! Thank you Clay and Ariel😊
Always interesting and useful, Clay! Thanks for the wonderful photography, Ariel! We're all looking forward to an update on Micha if he wants to share. Happy Winter!
You and Clay have great skills. Everything looks so nicely organized. Thanks for sharing this build. I found it very interesting. I am looking forward to your new home build,
That's a great addition to the homestead. Know you will be getting great usage out of it. Great job on 5he tool racks Clay. Always so much better to be organized makes life much easier 😊
Great video, love seeing your progress. Can't wait to see when you start building your house when it happens. So glad to see Burley is doing so well considering how badly he was hurt.❤🙏💖 God bless you!
So exciting! We're finally heading to our 10 acres in Bear Lake Valley and gonna set up camp in our Fifth Wheel off grid. This project you showed us is one of our plans for this spring/ summer, so I REALLY appreciate this review, Ariel!
Now that is a practical and efficient equipment shed! Well constructed, braced (those huge metal 'land screws' really get used a lot up in Canada in the outback from what I've seen), and quite obviously fulfill a need on your place. Good placement---I am assuming the back wall is facing West (???) and the cats have got to love patrolling all the nooks and crannies for wayward meeces.
Love to see your projects and imagine the house build will be the most interesting. I can imagine the conversations my parents had when they moved onto their homestead and the planning and pride of ownership they felt as they improved their property. Always wanting the best for you, Ariel and Clay.
Just a question as an afterthought, my Dad saved used motor oil to use on tools to prevent rust. A light coating of this very dark oil covered all his tools! Was that a good practice? The oil was grimy. Also, do you have a grinder to sharpen blades and things? Again, Dad, from a different generation had a pedal grinder with a seat and a second grinder that was larger and seemed more substantial in my child's eyes. Many times I would sit on the pedal grinder and "polish" rocks! Doubt if I was successful but still entertained. Thanks for your great videos that really make me smile and encourage me to embrace my rural past. Hugs to Burley, just the best.
My parents has 1 of these here in Pennsylvania They yet to have any problems the one side of their's is for 2 horse's to get shelter from rain and snow. Of course they also have a barn.❤

Very nice! Enjoy!
Did I spot a Subaru Outback in your new tent? How do you like it?
I wonder if one of those metal quonset hut kits would be better in the long run?
Do you think you'll plant any trees between the house and the shop to add some green?
