- In this video you will see the xenon headlights of VW Touareg 7L 2002-2007 pre-facelift models: XENON and Bi-XENON types. I will show you the difference between them, as well as how to troubleshoot the standard xenon headlight in case of low beam failure. You will see the xenon system used in this headlight in action. Part numbers of Valeo 12-pin ballast is also presented.

Ако премигват късите, най-вероятно баласта е повреден, много рядко крушката прави този проблем. Ако имаш влага в фара, 100% е баласта
Благодаря за отговора! Ще опитам да разменя баластите и ще видя дали проблема се 'премества' заедно с баласта. Същото ще направя и с крушките евентуално. Ще е след няколко дни, ще ви пиша за резултата все пак. Още веднъж благодаря!

Hello. I have the silver ones. I changed the ballast because i had low beams defective and it started to shut down on their own. Now it is ok but i have 2 codes. One is 00907 intervention load manager 000--- and second is 02088 lights for auxiliary high beams 014 defective. The second is even on the dash. What to do? It is about 4 months since I tried to solve the problem. Please help me

What pins are you using to test the bulb from the hid on the outside of the headlight (the one on the table)
Silver is double high beam, it's bi-xenon.
Bi-xenon silver version is very rare, mainly used after 2005-2006, but extremely rare

If the ballast and bulb are working, check the wiring or the fuses.

Hello, i have the non IFS Xenon headlights, my high beam (H7) does not work on both headlights but the lowbeam shutter operates when i pull the lever for highbeams. Is this a coding issue or another problem? The H7's are new and fuses are ok. VCDS does give a fault for high beam short circuit.

It sounds to me a wiring problem that causes short circuit. No coding required for low and high beam in this headlight.
Can you put the later style afs headlights into a touareg that has the silver frame headlights?
Yes, but AFS function will not work.
