Now this one is an strange script and I wrote this one a year ago so this might not be as good as the others but it interested me enough to re-write it so here you go. I hope you enjoy but if not then don't worry, there's a Tiny Trio adventure in the works so there's always that ^^
YEAAAAAAAAAA THEIR BACK WOOOOOOOO
Wow...this was well scripted as it's feel like it was spontaneous and silly sense humour...Luv ❤ it...2:42
Honestly I loved it, would not mind seeing more of him.
...oi, you missed "shoveled into an empty grave" 🤣😅
(Kriegsmen gets revive)
Commissar:BITCH DID I ORDER YOU TO COME BACK ALIVE
The last part reminded me of the quote "Immortality is not living forever, it is everyone else dying forever."
“You deserve to live, I hope you live forever”- Neglect LIHC
‘Tis quite an interesting quote. If I may, I’d like to respond wiþ one of mine own.
“Life… is like a blank page. A page upon which are written the words of our lives - our stories.
“Whence you only live so long, the ink turns to gold. So valuable, all the words… the days you live… because ‘twill all end eventually. Your story will come to an end and nothing will remain. Nothing but what others heard you say and what they thought you meant by it; what they saw you do, and what they learned from your actions.
“But what if you have a never-ending page? A bottomless inkwell? The more you write, the less it all means.
“Immortality is not a blessing, nor is it a curse. No, immortality is a sacrifice.
“Though ‘tis true that you will feel the heartache of losing your friends and family, yes, your immortality spares them that same grief. Your parents will never feel the inconsolable grief of seeing their baby girl die before their eyes. Your sons and daughters will never know the pain of knowing their mother is dead and wondering how life is supposed to go on without her. Your grandchildren will get to know and love their grandmother all their lives, as will their children and their children’s children. Every descendant of yours will leave a legacy behind, and you will get to see them all play out.
“When the stories of those who come after you have come to an end, you will be there to write their epilogue; you will write of them and the legacies they have left behind. Even when their pages have yellowed and crumbled to dust, they will have still words written of them as long as you still live.
“You still have plenty of gold left in your inkwell, so choose carefully what you want to write in your story and what you want it to mean… for as long as that choice still matters to you, some gold yet remains in your ink.”
Someone give Dante the Blood Angel a call, I think we found him a new drinking buddy!
"yesterday I forgot my son's voice"
That line hurt like a ton of bricks .
Damn idiotic synergy really pulls the most poetic and artful and emotional stuff out of nowhere.
That line really punched me in the feelings
I thought Kriegsmen were clones.
@josephgatts1679 Mate definitely lived long enough to beocme one of those expections who did start family
A perpetual kriegsmen, would definitely be recruited by a space marine chapter and become a named character of importance
That’s SO FREAKING COOL!!!!! This belongs in part of Black Library’s horror collection. I so absolutely want to hear this story continued, but even if not, it’s a beautiful and terrifying snapshot into the life of an unambitious, tired Perpetual. A regular human, blessed and cursed with eternity.
A Kriegsmen that's a perpetual? Ok that's gotta be hell for him.
i knew the poor guy would be dehumanized when their "name" is just a string of numbers, but dear emperor... i can see why someone would fall to chaos so easily in 40k. when youre told all your life that this is "the only way" ... but everyone still is in immense suffering all the time for things they are not at fault of ... you start thinking that there must be another way, surely. because humans are hopeful creatures.
the saddest part is that theyre right. there is another way. but it is far more painful and miserable, no matter what.
I confess the moment this started, my mind instantly went to 'Kreigmen's don't award medals. To them, the acts of heroism that those medals are normally awarded for are just excepted acts'.
Kriegsmen don’t but they can be awarded medals by non-Kriegers like Planetary Governors or joint divisions.
Welcome to 40K, where the worst gift is immortality.
Just don't get caught by the Dark Eldar 😊
Do I want to know what they do with immortal beings?
this is actually something that would realistically happen to people who are immortal. The human brain is like a memory bank with trillions of terrabites of memory (idk the exact number but it's been calculated), and eventually you'll end up forgetting things as you get older. So him forgetting his sons voice is an actual thing that can and will happen to immortal people
That's why whenever I write immortal characters for like D&D story-telling, they always have a library, sure there will be copies of books they have enjoyed throughout the millenia, but more importantly, countless journals detailing everything they've experienced.
Sometimes I forget this nature of warhammer lore and its a bit depressing to be honest, but you did a bloody good job with this and the rest of your videos are great as well.
For all the humor, with this and the Tyberos video you've shown you can write short, dense, emotional dialogues that sound like they're from real people. Little bits of humor to distract from the horrible reality of it all, then the slow sinking in of said reality as the laughter fades. 40k has a lot of funny stuff, but a lot of it is to help contrast and highlight the darker parts of the setting, and you do an amazing job at showing that.
I like writing dialogues. I just wish my voice acting was better lmao
Let’s be real, the old kriegsmen are better than the new kriegsmen.
You made me wipe out a tear for my kill team Kriegsman. I named every one of them. And after they get killed in game, i think about "What are their last toughts. Do they miss their parents? Do they miss anything? Care for?" I made them like a little bit older Kriegsman. "WHY DO I FEEL THAT WAY ABOUT THEM" Is still inside my head.
LETS GOOOOO! That's cool
Ohh god. Being a perpetual Krieger must truly be a fate worst then death. Thanks for the nightmare fuel.
Ah, a far more sobering perspective on that old joke about the perpetual kreigsman , crap like this is why uncle Vulcan doesn’t WANT to come back, even that one perpetual grey knight gets treated like a meat shield
What im curious about is how a perpetual even became an astartes. Why wouldnt their body just regenerate out the augments?
@@louiesatterwhite3885more so around the augments any rejection would be met with growing around the. . . Ok maybe it's in poor taste to elaborate how bad that'd go. . .
Well... that's horrifying. But at least with the amount of medals he's gotten, he could probably melt them down and build at least a baneblade with the resulting assortment of metals.
"Souped, which is the weirdest one..."
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Who is this guy? Vulkan?
In my experience the vast majority want to become immortal. They are incapable of even contemplating the true horror of immortality. Yes you could potentially learn, and do everything, but one would have to watch their loved ones, and friends die. This would go on for an untold number of generations. You would stop trying to have relationships after a while just to stop constantly losing friends, lovers, and family.
True, but þere is anoþer side, is þere not? True, as an immortal, you would inevitably outlive people and see þem pass on while you remain, but immortality also spares everyone you know of þat same pain.
As an immortal, your parents would never see your dead body and feel þe indescribable loss of knowing þeir baby is dead.
Your children would never have to experience watching þeir parent - þe one who raised þem into who þey are - fade away into þe dark, never suffer þe hollow anguish of wondering how life is supposed to go on wiþout you.
While you would suffer þe pain of grief, you would spare oþers þe same. How many would die in peace, knowing you would be þere to look after everyone þey’ll leave behind? Þat after þeir children pass, and þeir children’s children, and so on, þey would still have you? Generations of family and friends living þeir lives, secure in knowing þat þrough every hardship and struggle, every sunny day and every storm, þey’d still have you.
Everyone leaves a legacy behind, and as an immortal, you would see þem all play out. You could ensure people are remembered as þey were, not idolised or demonised as tales are mistold. You could watch stories grow and evolve wiþ time, while ensuring all can still read it as ‘twas first written.
Would you be willing to suffer þis sacrifice? To suffer so deeply þe pain of grief, if it would spare so many oþers of þe same?
…I like to believe I would.
A Krieger perpetual, just as depressed as expected.
Recording of Commissar of Death Korp of Krieg.
Suspicious.
So good to see that someone is making use of the idea of a perpetual Krieger.
Never saw anyone play with it until now, and I saw the idea when I was introduced to 40K in 2019-ish.
Good work!
To be immortal in a galaxy of horrors is truly a curse, for the others, at least the horrors end when they do.
"It's not about living forever Jackie... It's about living with *yourself* ... forever."
-Rogue Trader Teagus Sparro to his son Jackal regarding the concept of immortality
Only in death does duty end, but even in death I still serve, for duty is eternal unlike the mortal sons and daughters of humanity that must take it upon their shoulders.
his disappointment is immeasurable and his life is ruined...perpetually
Stuff like this makes me want a warhammer action adventure or rpg game with tons of story stuff like this mabye a dragon age origin style rpg for space marine an action adventure for the orks
Immortality is a gift and a burden, the latter even more so. Good story and narration.
Omfg the Krieger's cloned a perpetual into existence
Yep. That means there is little stopping them from making an army of immortals since they already have the genome isolated
Or it’s one of their recruits
Get vaporized. It'll take some time to come back
argh, these poor Krieger. It is a very scary thought tonever be embraced by the Emperors light, to die only to come back. I do not envy him
He really portrays the negative points of immortality. Its sad but also in a way freeing
I think this kriegsman deserves a name. Commisar Geras, the Perpetual
GW should let you write his stories
I’d like his idea of how to avoid meetings just get radioactive and no one would want you there
He’s going to meet vulkan soon with both of them being perpetuals and hating life at this point
the worst part of immortality really would be the loneliness and seeing history repeat itself over and over. I'd be suicidal too after that long.
next time you think your life sucks, imagine being a PERPETUAL in the DEATH CORPS.
Usually commissars arent numbered though I do find this funny if dark humored.
In the business. We call it Gotrek Gurnisson syndrome.
Wanna give that guy a hug
This odly familiar to my characters back story, minus all the finding out murdering from allies
Really nicely done. It would make sense that he would be a Krige officer they only get promoted by out living everyone else.he would also have the worst time of it. First I would be great in his prospects he can get his life for the Emperor most time. Then after so many battles and wars and deaths. There is no life for the Krige for in death comes atonement be he can never reach that point. He can never truly be forgiven and find the Emperor light. How many regiments do you think passed before his very eyes.
We can all agree that if he charges into battle it plays ‘The Unkillable Soldier’ by Sabaton right?
that guy love war for the fighting, kriegsman love war for they will die in there. How is that song can match to the tired spirit?
I mean the thought of immortality is nice because Ive always been alone. I mean I have my parents but that feels like a different thing. To live for ever while having loved ones though sounds like a nightmare
"...I remember when Space Marines didn't use Primaris at all among their ranks."
Did you hear that, GW ? Huh ?
This was wonderful, I love this type of script, the serious sad warhammer stuff, keep it up
Please keep making these, every one is on the spot, both grimdark and funny😎
And we found a perpetual
I'm pretty sure this man could outlive the "god emperor"
Eh if he got impaled by the Anathame or sat on the golden throne he'd die permanently.
@@louiesatterwhite3885 thank you,I did not know this
Welp UA-cam likes to delete my comments
Why you make me feel? Why you do this to me? WHY???
This is a good reason why I pity the Kriegers.
Are you ok, Kommissar
Well, at least he gets to one part of the emperors point of view and Vulcans, too.
Damn....the highlander style of life sounds rough
Wait what... Kriegsmen have access to pastries!?! Ah perpetual, that makes more sense. When you are immortal it does not really matter if you sneak into governors mansion and nick few pastries to test out, though that could end up badly.. getting locked up into cell with out food or water.
Great script, it reminds me of the sad parts of Groundhog Day. It's not called "grimdark" for nothing.
honestly being a immortal kreig guardsmen would basically be their own PERSONAL hell they cant die they'll never be redeemed no matter how much they try. its sad...but imagine how much you'd forget the longer you went on...the scents..the sounds of people you knew....the guy forgot his sons voice his own flesh and blood at that point i think even an exterminatus wouldnt kill him. poor lad
You're correct about exterminatus failing to kill him. Even if a perpetual is completely disintegrated, so long as their soul remains intact the body will reform itself
Being immortal might sound fun but I don't think it is cause from his experience he is in constant trauma and pain and with his slow ageing it will get even worse
His aging isn't slow, it's outright stopped.
@@louiesatterwhite3885 that's even worse
onces more you came with interesting tale to be told now to one who have lived so long
a mix of humor and tragety and yet even all that 1 must respect he didnt gone mad or he did and got over with it ether way what a strong will sure he still do crazy things like run to a radioactive area and yet
he didnt gone mad and kill all and care not of life
isnt it abit ironic he who seeks his demise is the 1 who treasure life perhaps he have live for so long and endure so much for him such things are more precious than any medal or gold
i am not certain if you have thought this deep when you crafted this but 1 thing for sure you have done such a fine work good sir trully onces more prove why ya amazing be it to make us laugh or put us in ahhh in such deep works
He forgot his son's voice. that's painful man
Who wants to liiii....ve for-evaaaa.....
Who wants tooo liiiii..vveeee for. Evaaaaa.....
Whooooo
Who Dares to Love Foreevaaaaa.... When All Must Die.
🎹🎼
Rejoice. You may not be a perpetual Komissar. There's a chance that, well, There Can Be Only One, Komissar. Prepare your sword.
Good use of the relic bust.
Seeing the early stages of that career would probably be very entertaining. Imagine a kreigsman ego tripping on having more than one life to give for the emperor.
“Until the emperor is done with me, I will show you all exactly why my home world is named “War”!”
*bludgeons an ork with a grenade*
Being a perpetual: the worst curse you can do to a krieg
don't think i didn't notice the name of the inquisitor...
5 bucks says when he means mashed he got ogryns that day
this krieger is so old his name is only 6 digits long
Yes, you will, Commissar. Yes, you will.
Vulkan: First time?
A perpetual Kriegsman? Big E got bored and decided to make Guilliman a mood kindred who has lived to see everyone and almost everything they know die off
Forgot son voice ?
Holy trone, have mercy
Poor 178255 cursed to live forever my the emperor have Marcy on his soul
Vulcan live
Archive #18 playing.
I was about to say that all the Perpetuals bar the emperor died so there's still a chance
But it's because their souls got torn to shreads so probably he ain't reaching the emperor's light
Vulkan lives
Anyone imagining a perpetual bar
Yeah it’s ultra rare but I imagine at least a thousand or more exist. It’s even multi species.
You got depressed ork
Depress eldar who has walked every path both dark and light and middle
A multitude of humans of either depression or getting use to it
A single tyrannid who gain sentient after dying for 200th time and ate some left over food. Realizing there’s more to the universe and he’s aware of it. It sucks because most places are death zones for him.
A necrons who grew a part of his soul back but backfired as it kept him in the state that he has been in for an eons. Able to cleary remember his flesh life and the rare joys but stuck in a cold body. Doesn’t help even if he erased memories the moment he died it reloads them
love ur stuff as always
So this guy is basically Krieg version of Caiphas Cain. That is hilarious. Though what does it tell of the fandom that we kind a want a krieg perpetual? I like to be an optimist and say we appreciate good storytelling but…
Damme that's ruffe Buddy
This is brilliant
... Oh I see I just never thought much better with me this is all all the
i must know how does one soup a commissar
The primarius thing made me feel old
Bring me another Duncan
Negative, Duncan has been terminated from the Imperial Archives on the orders of the Custodies.
Poor Krieger
Very much enjoyed, though I have one question... How do you get souped?
Sonic weaponry, nuff said.
krieg having family?
also, perpetuals are getting too common in lore
if they where so common nids would have found a infinite food glitch already
who's to say they don't have one or two being farmed in their hive fleets. forever tortured, devoured, and destroyed all for the hive to use as a twisted food source.
thinking too basic
what makes a perpetual a perpetual
the emperor made one of the primarchs one, so it can be made
and rebirth doesnt take carbs
now you have reviving hormagaunts
This is grimdark
Dante moment
Sad one. This guy is really fethed.
I feel bad for him
I don't know if somebody aked this, but i'm kind of scared by how can somebody be souped?
I suggest you change your name to sad-sinergy because that's what this is
Souped??
Extremely unrealistic. How's a guardsman know what a pastry is?
:)
178255? That number is way too small. Add a few 0s to it for how many Krieg get mowed down.
😢😢😢
Probably the only thing that is out of place here is claiming that guy to be a Commissar, then give him a serial number with no name and make his account sound like an ordinary guardsman’s, nothing commissarish about it.
Let me explain.
DKoK Commissars are NOT Kriegsmen. Commissars are not usually attached to units from their worlds of origin, nor do they get promoted in the field. They are all raised in Schola Progenium and their upbringing coupled with mind wipes leave nothing of their cultural background.
In addition, in DKoK regiments, their job is the polar opposite of what the Commissar stereotype dictates. They have no need to send the men into suicidal charges, they have to actively PREVENT them from going into those suicidal charges that would get them killed for no gain instead of those where their sacrifice would actually make a difference!
This account, from what it sounds like, would make more sense not as a story of Perpetual DKoK Commissar, but as a story of a Perpetual DKoK Guardsman.
Critics aside, it is a great story. Absolutely love it.
Or maybe he rejects his name and wants to keep his original number
@@IdioticSynergycould be the case, I suppose.
P.S.: The voice acting really sells the story. Chef’s kiss. You got yourself a new follower.
@@zaniatnik I'm glad to hear it mate ^_^
Well, you can actually be prompted to commissar, but only out of battle, under conditions special enough to make a world wiþ 1-1-1 ratio of phykers, blanks and regular civilians, look like common place. In oþer words, þe Inquisition pulled a few strings.
😑👌
