  • In this video I will compare these two bikes to hopefully help you decide which is best for you. Spoiler alert however, I love them both. Haibike mountain bikes are just awesome and I hope this inspires you to get one if you are on the fence.

    Just purchased my Enduro/Exduro 2.0 this afternoon and like you did so much research into various e bikes and after debating the Giant Stance E+1 bs the Haibike I went with the Haibike. Both bikes were the same in price at 4500$ but I truly feel that Haibike has pulled out all the stops over other bikes in the same price range. Great informative video and looking forward to riding places that without this bike I would never get to experience 🤙

    Great review man, I am coming from the moto world as well, always enjoyed mountain bikes but as I have aged MTB's have just become less fun. I will give the Haibikes a bit more attention now.

    Thanks for the Comparison, it was great. I have a ALLMNT 2.0 and love it. I also have a Grand Design trailer and a Ram truck and used to race Motocross. LoL . Buying this bike was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

      Its funny, I think us motocross racers must think the same! Do you have guys randomly yell out CHEATER on the trails? I need to do a video about that but it seems to be an ego thing. I want to say to them 1) we are not racing and 2) if we were racing there would be a separate ebike class like ALL racing. At motocross practice 125 riders don't scream cheater at 450 riders. Anyway these people fail to see the positive impact it has on our lives & that we indeed still get a workout.

    Nice combo of bikes! Just this week I scored the 2020 180mm XDuro Nduro and absolutely love it! I got a fair deal on one of the last XL's left in the USA. It is still snowy up here, but what I rode really helped me fall in love with it and can't wait for the trails to dry out and really try it out on the tight singletrack. I know this is a beast on the open trails but eagerly await the tight stuff to see about the overall versatility.

    You can easily change the drivetrain on the all mountain to an Sram NX Eagle cassette as it fits on a standard Shimano freehub body. You will need a Sram Eagle derailleur, shifter, and chain to accompany it. At the front, remove both front chainrings and then replace the smaller one with a single speed chain ring (ideally with narrow wide teeth to avoid chain drops), and replace the outer ring with chainring tabs to make up for the thickness of the missing ring. Alternatively you could fit a bash ring in it's place. Note, Sram make e-bike versions of their shifters that do just a single click at a time to reduce the risk of snapping a chain with the added power of a motor going through the system. You could also experiment with moving the brake levers inboard of the shifters to enable 1 finger braking and keep more fingers on the bars. This may not always work though depending on the lever length and clamp designs, worth a try though.

      Awesome, thanks for the suggestion. I may eventually try it.

    • @Espen_Danielsen
      @Espen_Danielsen 3 роки тому

      These are good suggestions! 👍 The SRAM NX takes a bit to get used to, but is in my opinion way better for e-bikes! Never had a bad shift with it, and never dropped or broken a chain.

  • @Espen_Danielsen

    A few points you missed:
    1 - The shimano brake levers can be adjusted. On the more expensive versions both handle placement (how close to the bar it is) and contact point (when it starts gripping) can be adjusted. One the version you have on the allmnt 2.0 2019 only the handle placement can be adjusted, and you should adjust it so that you don't have to pull it to rest your finger on it...
    2 - There are some major differences between the 2019 and the 2020 allmnt. Among those are the gear system, with the 2020 sporting a 12 speed SRAN NX setup. This is very similar to the Nduro 2.0 2020, but shifts cleaner.
    3 - The allmnt 2.0 2020 has solved the droper post control lever problem by inverting it and placing it under the left bar. It is as well protected as a gear lever, and you have the right hand free to control the gear lever. very strange this has not been done on the Nduro 2.0 2020...
    Still a very good walkthrough! I really wondered about the geometry when buying my allmnt 2.0 2020. I was undecided between the fullseven LT 5.0, Allmnt 2.0 and Nduro 2.0. I do a lot of very technical single trail and hard climbs, so I didn't want to have to slack a geometry and ended with the allmnt 2.0 as a good middle point, but I find it a bit low compared to the other options... I would love to have the same setup with a bit more ground clearance, so I am considering changing the front fork and wheel for a 29 setup (mullet). Coming from motorcross you might want to consider the same. It will convert the allmnt to something more similar to a Nduro geometry, while still keeping the advantages...
    Thanks for the comparison, and especially a closer look at the geometry and ground clearances. Very few other reviewers have ever bothered with it.

    • @contentlife204
      @contentlife204  3 роки тому

      Thanks for the great feedback. Its funny because I also was considering the fullseven lt 5.0. There's a reason I wanted to highlight the clearance which I will reveal in upcoming video soon. Still I have a special place in my heart for the ALLMTN. Do you ever have creaky headset? Thats something that drives me nuts on both & i find taking it apart & retightening does the trick but wondering if there's any magical headset that would make it go away permanently.

    • @Espen_Danielsen
      @Espen_Danielsen 3 роки тому +1

      @@contentlife204 Headsets haven't been a problem for me, and I am 250 pounds... But then again the bike is still fairly new. I come form a XC bike, that can't really compare in any way apart from climbing ability, but that had a problem with it. Might be something to do with the design of it being weaker on the XC. But I used a bit of white lithium grease on it, and it was far less prone to creaking. I recommend trying a bit of CRC white grease pro next time you put it together. It is also great for any part or bearing you want to protect from water corrosion. www.crcind.com/crc/CRCproductdetail.csp?division=automotive&product=WHITE%20GREASE%20PRO&CSPCHD=000000000000YUHPGdPnLs0000_oZFBGbA0pH8SArRxtadmg--

      Hey guys ☺️. I understand some things a bit differently. To me believe it or not, the Nduro is better for uphill just because it has more ground clearance for pedalling uphill.
      When going downhill, the lower BB of the Allmtn makes it much more stable and confident inspiring both on high speeds and on extreme steep downhills.
      Also because of the low BB it corners better.
      Now regarding your thoughts of upgrading the fork to 29er....lololo if you do it a big big smile is waiting you.
      2.5 on the front and a 2.8 in the rear and this bike rocks! (Actually this is the new 2021 Allmtn bike...)
      (The noise on the damper is oil not air)
      Nice and lovely review!
      Subscribed.
      Me and my mate have these bikes and we both agree that the Allmtn is more stable and confident inspiring bike.

The cushcore is awesome upgrade for the price and I’m about the same weight also charging corners is unbelievable. The ergon ebike seat is super comfortable .

      Yeah I'm not sure if the e8000 has resistance like some motors do. Theses yamahas have no resistance. When I'm following my kids I will often turn it off as they are slow & its no problem but they are not going up hills.

      Ebikes508.com out of Massachusetts. They ship direct & often have the best prices. I got my dad one from them also, same allmtn 2.0 bike for $3600 during another sale. They aren't the best at responding fast via email which was my only gripe. My nduro i got from crazy lennys & those guys in Orlando were great.

    • @contentlife204

      I find that frustrating too. I'm guessing because haibikeusa doesn't want to keep the inventory which is costly. Also I think they are putting all their eggs in yamaha basket.
