I admire this guy. He’s got a morbid sense of humor yet seems very kind and down to earth. He’s got an interesting art style that’s as creepy as it is charming. This guy is one of my inspirations, I wish he did more stuff. Like after Creepy Susie and The Oblongs he didn’t really do much after that besides writing a play fairly recently.
Yeah it's similar to my other favorite cartoonist recently I'm getting into the oblongs because it's part of the of the category for the weird and the bizarre and the gruesome and the dark and I like the weird and obscure and the gruesome and bizarre and dark it's just like a diamond in the rough just like my other favorite cartoon but cartoons and comics and books of today are just too stupid for my taste I like creepy susie and the oblongs and invader zim and Johnny the homicidal maniac I guess I'm just different on the inside and it's growing one day I'll just drop my colorful wardrobe and desire black in my wardrobe

The show helped me as a messed up 11-year old kid who felt like a freak and was getting all these neurological diagnoses (and meds) at a time they weren't really accepted. Milo was almost a self-insert for me. I'd give thanks if I thought Angus would give even half a damn, but he wouldn't.
I think he would be very honored and I hope you manage to find a way to write him a fan letter some day! Artists always appreciate being able to help other people feel better about life.

I really wanted to see Creepy Suzie's family in the show, she was and still is my favourite character. Probably because she was me when I was at school. I was different and saw the world differently. Everyone went off to make new friends and left me, so I pondered questions like "why is the sky blue" or "what happens after life" to which I came up with my own ideas; likely why people left me alone :) I really wish this show came back or there was a spin off series; it definately had more potential than what the 1 season gave it. I don't know if it will, but to me; I hope it will come back somehow. Even if it's just another book series ^^

I watched this show probably from 4-8 years old and at the time it kinda scared me since the characters were drawn so bizarrely to me. While I don’t remember any episodes I do remember the character designs so pretty good job in that department

People say the opposites get attracted, but I ended up finding about the Oblongs, and I bet the cartoon and ofc neither the book passed even nearby the country I live, but yet, I didn't find myself with any of the characters yet but Susie, but I surely identified myself with Angus himself, (you might be thinking oh this guy wants to feel like a protagonist, well, if you don't, good, but if you do. Fuck you.) not in the part of being thrown in a trash can and then in the locker, I didn't had to go through that (yet?) but well, the rest...I already drew stuff hoping people would be leaving me alone but...it ended up the opposite, and now I draw stuff and post it on Twitter and Instagram (not saying any of those) and well, if people like it, whatever, if they don't, great. All in all I'm not really like Angus, no I haven't changed my mind, but I'm clearing this out if anyone agreed with me earlier. This is looking more like a message rather than a comment by the way...
