I think it’s better to address why so many heresies are coming from baptists and Pentecost
True. Pentecostals/popular charismatic preachers especially. They can't go a single sermon without saying something blasphemous.

I grew up in a Baptist church and it had little doctrinal adherence. The doctrine for the day was just however the relatively uneducated preacher interpreted a small section of the Bible. A lot of if not most regular baptist preachers are like that, uneducated hicks with zero theological knowledge self interpreting the Scriptures and in turn falling into heresies by accident. Though Reformed baptists are a lot better in that regard.

What do you think makes something a heresy?
When I say "Mary was not the mother of God," I mean to say that she was not the mother of the Father and the Holy Spirit, and that she did not conceive Christ's divine nature (because Christ's divine nature always existed). This is why I would say she gave birth to Christ, but not God though Christ is God.
That smacks of both Nestorianism and Partialism.

Partialism is dividing the divine nature into parts: Father, Son and Spirit. If you say Mary is the not the mother of God because she is not the mother of the Holy Spirit or the Father, then you are insisting that Mary is the mother of only PART of God. But God is not made of parts, so Mary either bore or did not bear God. Seeing that Jesus is God, and Mary bore Jesus, then Mary bore God.

What gives them authority on what makes something a heresy? What do they base their conclusions on?

That would be a false dilemma, just because I reject Mary as the mother of God does not mean I stand in partialism. By saying she is not mother of Christs divine nature (His Godhood), I am saying she did not conceive the totality of God (what the title "mother of God" indicates). She only conceived the human portion of Christ (his human nature), not God as a whole.

how does divine simplicity work with perichoresis?
Divine simplicity just means God's essence isn't made of parts. However, essence is a different category than person. So we can rightly say God is 3 persons and 1 undivided essence.
I would say that you are un-informed about social trinitarianism. IMPORTANT: Very few social trinitarians state that the three persons have three wills. They have one will through Perichoresis. By being related by eachother. There are multiple forms of social trinitarianisms. The one thing that is common for social trinitarians is their focus on the threeness of God rather than the oneness.
In simple terms from a church history perspective:
Cappadokians- Social trinitarian
Augustine and tertullian- Psycological trinitarian
In short, social trinitarianism does not need to be heretical, But can be. It depends.
Marr didn't create God. Mary NURTURED God, Mary loved God in a way none of us can exactly understand. God was her baby, and she was Gods servant. There is so much beauty in the relationship between Jesus and Mary. She is truly the best amongst us.
I think you commit the same logical fallacy calling monothelitism a heresy as Jmac commits when he refuses the title theotokos for Mary and contradict yourself.
Consider the similarity between statements:
Jesus is God, but you can’t say Mary is the mother of God, because Mary was just the mother of Jesus as touching his humanity, and you also can’t say God died, because while Jesus is God, God the Son is necessary and can’t die, so Jesus only died as touching his humanity.
Monothelitism and social Trinitarian are heresy because God has ONE will,
But Jesus has two wills, even though Jesus is fully God, we can’t say God has two wills.

So we shouldn't say, "Lord have mercy," right? Instead we should say, "Lord be mercy." Well that's a factual proposition, not a prayer. So prayer itself violates Divine simplicity because it assumes that its possible for God to do anything other than what you were going to pray for. Don't pray for mercy, no, instead just know that God IS mercy!
Solution: we are using finite human language to try to approach God which will by nature always miss the mark.

But that doesn’t mean that his actions will be good for all creatures.
God is merciful, but that doesn’t mean he expresses that mercy to everyone.

The problem is to define what is Orthodoxy.
You cannot condense complex topics to dictionary definitions. If you do that Christianity is a cult and Mormons are christians
Orthodoxy as in the fundamental beliefs about Christianity that all Christians can agree upon

Won't the Nestorians, who are heretical, call themselves Christian and say they believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ? Can't they say we are the ones who are unorthodox?
