Raced in the 2011 Transpac with Wayne and the gang. What an amazing introduction to racing; and very fortunate to have had the chance with J-World.WE were off the channel heading to the podium behind Horizon about 100 miles out when our steering Quadrant broke.17 KNOTS boat speed down too 7.The old Hula Girl tried her best.Probably from the hard surfing from the night before.
Sweet video of the crossing. Great job to the crew. I saw you guys as you passed Koko Head, the last point before Diamond Head. It was twilight and I could see your mast head light appear and that huge white spinnaker was glowing on the horizon from the last bit of sunlight. Catch you next time your in Hawaii. Wow, there are a lot out there so Thank You very much. The final day was such good sailing, it will stand out for the rest of my life. I wish everyone could surf the last 50 miles to Hawaii :)
No way, it’s a relatively fragile ‘coastal’ boat. But F39 Ravenswing is perfect for Hawaii racing and I’m considering how to make that happen in the near future.
@@derekdeskey7254 hey, I think Pablo is still looking for another person to help sail Good Trouble home, departing Honolulu about Aug16 or so. Want to go?

Great video! Thank you. Now, would you ever do that trip in your F25?

Oh wow, I thought you sold her. So yeah, thats the boar for it. Either way. I love your videos and long time fan of Trimarans.
What a ride! Miss the tiller?
Yes, next time I want it to be the Ravenswing tiller! But… that big ass wheel was pretty great. Fingertip control. Except during the bad squall.
So cool. Thanks for sharing.
Nice video!! Had the pleasure of sailing with Paul in the 2017 race on HG!
