@@dkstott29 Amazon, although I don't think I'll use it anymore once this batch is gone. Either that or I'll make 2 separate batches for tropicals and non tropicals.
It isn't worth buying in my experience. Continue to hesitate. There are plenty of similar alternatives, trees aren't as picky as we lead them on to be.
@NoDecaf7 agreed. Ive yet to see any noticable benefits from it. Although, it could just be the type I'm getting from Amazon. One of those, "get what ya pay for" kind of things.
In the meantime, I'm resisting the urge to prune my ficuses and put them in bonsai pots while the trunk is still so thin. I'm of the opinion that it doesn't look nice when new branches appear everywhere and the tree has no structure, but if you want thick trunks, you have to bite the bullet. Because the more foliage, the more roots and the higher the traffic between top and bottom, the faster the trunk thickens.
Very nice bonsai, thanks for sharing. 🙏🙏👍
@@ridwanbintangbonsai thank you!
Really good looking ficus! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
That's a great chop! I hope to have the guts to make a chop like that when I get around to doing my pruning.
@@NoDecaf7 This particular one was kind of willy nilly, but I usually do give it a lot of thought first.
Mine is doing great mike. You should try chicken grit in your soil. Ive been using it the past 3 years
I might try that! I think I saw some at D&B supply
@BonsaiBoise you can get it a tractor supply, i believe. Have you tried shop lights in that tent? I would put 4 in there.
Where are you getting the akadama from? I've been hesitant to buy from amazon...

Bad, sweet, maybe it’s yeast.
Does that happen with bonsai soil?
