I am blown AWAY that you got all that for 10 bucks!!!! That is AWESOME! I can't really explain it, but watching this just warmed my heart and had me smiling the whole time. I've been a Nancy Drew fan since I was 8 years old (now 27). So these games have definitely been a big part of my life. Warmed my heart to see someone else get as excited as I do over Nancy Drew stuff. And I don't think that collection could have found a more worthy recipient. Those games will be well taken care of. Have a great day!
Not only did I feel thst I learned things, but also quite like your snazzy look 👀 Also proof saving to the "look later" list is very important because sometimes it proves immensely helpful
So this vid came up in my recommended feed, and I HAD to comment. What an absolute treasure trove of ND gloriousness. I grew up with these games in middle and high school, and I was like you- never had much money but I loved playing them and was always trying to find physical copies. I had a best friend who loved the games too and we made it our sleepover tradition to play every new one when it was released. So many great memories... I felt so emotional seeing the hand written notes left behind by the previous owner. These games were definitely well loved and preserved and that makes me so happy to see💜
Omg a priceless treasure trove!! I'm losing my mind with jealousy, I never really was interested in collecting them either but this is such a great haul, the fact that they came with the Hardy Boys game and the strategy guides too!! And they're all in such good condition!! And the elusive Ransom of the Seven Ships (you should sell it for outrageous sums of money 😏). I love seeing all the packaging, the back of the jewel cases is especially cool, although I have to say I love the cardboard cases most. I'm replaying Captive Curse at the moment and I feel like not a lot of people talk about it but it's a lot of fun! Good atmosphere and the puzzles are a perfect difficulty level! Guard your collection closely cause remember, I know where you live 😈
The collection is beautiful. The boxes look very neat. But that’s not even the reason I enjoyed the video so much. First of all, it’s filmed and edited so well. But even more importantly, your charisma is incredible. You give off such beautiful and lively vibes. I can’t help but smile with you.
OMG!!! I could not believe what I was watching! I felt so much compersion (the opposite of jealousy) as you unboxed all the games. I'm a big fan of packaging, too (you should see my DVD collection! 😲)! Seeing all those handwritten notes was very cool, too. ❤
Holy heck!! I actually used to play these with my mom & brother-- it was a family thing! Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake led to a "the game is made up of ones and zeroes, it can't hurt you" chat, allllll the way back in 2003 or so. I remember getting it from the Scholastic Book catalogue thing, and I'm almost positive I picked it because it had "dog" in the title. I have very fond memories of figuring them out with my family, along with some other, easier adventure games (Spy Fox & other Humongous Interactive stuff, mostly.) We had a LOT of these, although I, personally, stopped paying as much attention around Danger by Design. So as someone who very much got them new, I know that a total of $25 for ALL the games, plus the dossier, plus the Hardy Boys game, PLUS so many strategy guides is actually insane. Especially for later ones, that's less than you could get a single game for. Congrats (belatedly, just found your channel via the doll stuff) on that crazy find! It was a nice little nostalgia trip to remember the many hours spent figuring these stories out.
I adore the older packaging, I never played the Nancy Drew games but they are such a vibe! I also really enjoy clever inserts/ads/merch that add to the immersion. Posters from in-universe bands/movies/plays etc would be so fun!
Me to I bought the Mega Mystery Pack at my local Best Buy back when the games first came out in the 90's the pack had the original Secrets can kill, Stay Tuned for Danger, Treasure in the Royal Tower and the Final Scene and I have not stopped playing them since the newest Nancy Drew Adventure game number 34 is already out Mystery of the Seven Keys I've been reading the books since I was 4 years old
This brightened my day so much! So much nostalgia from seeing all the old packages-I used to own them up to I think Shadow at Waters Edge. Ahh I am more happy for ya than envious tho, to see you get them all!😺✨ Can’t wait to see more Nancy streams in the near future✌️
