For those of us in the USA, this is the first drive review of the Trailblazer I've found in English. Thank you very much for the great review! I am looking forward to seeing it here in Chevy's homeland. Great little SUV!

Excellent quality review. Very comprehensive and analytical. I have never seen a tester stuff a car into turns that hard. The instrumented time/speed acceleration demo and transmission shift points on the tachometer and the hard braking demo show the facts.. Your review is the best I've seen compared to the usual clay head that Babels on about their 'impression' of the cars performance. Your opinions (analysis) are backed by actual demo's of the cars performance. Outstanding !

Yes, thanks for what is the first comprehensive review I've see of this new Chevy. Looks like lots of plusses in a neat, well thought out package. One is always wary of being an early buyer of any completely new model. It will be interesting to see how the three-cylinder engine holds up and performs as mileage is accumulated.
Excellent review. I think this is about the only subcompact car I would ever get. Like no joke I'm a mid-sized SUV guy. But if I had to get something brand new and didn't want to go overboard this would probably be it. Been waiting for review on this guy.

Another great review. With a starting price of $19,995 (in the US), I think it will sell well. With that being the MSRP price, you'll definitely get them cheaper than that (with rebates/discounts). Here in Denver, there are several new entry level AWD Chevy Traxs for 15.5k. That should give people an idea of how much the Trailblazer could cost. It wouldn't be my first choice... but for the price, I think you're getting a nice package.

I loved the review of the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer, but I was wondering can a video be made in the lower trim levels do they offer some of the same features like heated seats push start in the LT

Great camera shots of it in action. It's definitely not like the trailblazers of old, but is still a very good looking compact suv. Styled nicely, just should've gave it a different name and it would've been more successful probably. And the 1.3l 3 cylinder is meh seems like, so it could make it limited in sales unless it gets 40 plus mpg.
Yes, this is the all new Chevrolet Trailblazer. Hope this all new Chevrolet Trailblazer sells well. Thank you. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
Not sure if it's in the top #3. But this Chevrolet Trailblazer is a big step forward for Chevy in subcompact crossover market. Thank you todd. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.

With the honda and the nissan, they are PROVEN to be RELIABLE but, I think THAT CHEVY TRAILBLAZER is a GOOD LOOKING BABY SUV FRONT TO BACK, INSIDE AND OUT.
Hi Charlie! Trailblazers (4 cylinders, 2.8 liter turbo diesel) have been selling in Ecuador for many years,, but I realized since the last 2 years, they begun to disappear from the roads (perhaps owners are getting rid of them for their reliability issues). Today you rarely can see one of them in our streets.
hi Marco. But this is the all new Chevrolet Trailblazer 2021. And this new one is both designed and assembled here in Korea by GM Korea. And this car seems to be going in right direction. Thank you Marco. And please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
I'm shocked. You seem to like this Chevy. We're getting it here in the Spring, and our Auto Show is in about a week here in Chicago, so I look forward to checking it out. But thank you for this preview of a review of it. 🐰
Yes, with this all new Chevrolet Trailblazer, it seems that Chevy is moving to right direction after all. Thank you Papa. And please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
The only way to go with this car is with the 9speed awd combo... the fwd cvt will leave you disappointed. The 3 cylinder for me will def sound better than any 4 depending on the exhaust tuning. Overall, it's a suitable engine for the size. Only question left is reliability. Extended power train warranty is your best friend in that regard.
I’m really interested to see how the new Trailblazer holds up in long run, seeing how it’s manufactured in Korea and not in the U.S. If Hyundai is anything to go off by, I expect the Trailblazer to be very reliable and quality made!
YEs, i would like to see the long term reliability of this all new Chevrolet Trailblazer. Thank you. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
I am from Canada and it is 11 months after uploading of this Trailblazer review. This review is still one of the best that I have seen so far and I watched a lot of them. I really like the style of the Trailblazer RS and I hoped that GM would have used a 4 cylinder engine for this vehicle. But it is not a deal breaker and I would still purchase one for my college son. I wished GM would include heated steering to this vehicle. It is very hard to find this Trailblazer RS in Canada and I am waiting for a local dealership to get one for me. Most reviews think that Kia Seltos is better vehicle than Trailblazer, but I disagree. I would encourage everyone to watch the video of Seltos to go up the hill from TFL and transmission keep heating up. So they never made it to the top of the hill. TFL also did a video of Trailblazer Activ AWD do the same thing and it passed with flying colours .This might not be the best vehicle in subcompact category, but it is the best looking one. Good job Chevy.
Thank you Mk Family for watching our Chevrolet Trailblazer review. Yes, this SUV feels sturdy and confident. I like it. And if you love cars and car reviews, do consider subscribing to our channel, so you don't miss out in the future. Thank you.

Well, i would say Kia Seltos if you like more features (with extra cost), but Chevrolet Trailblazer if you like the rugged looks. Thank you Jackli. And please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
@@robertoCarlos-ou2zq If you're in the U.S.....I just went to pick up my Cadenza from the service department today, I saw that they had 4 brand new Seltos models out front! I didn't think they'd be here so soon. They look so good in person too, they're tempting.
@@jacobrael9872 I have a 2014 SXL. The car now has 87k miles. I'm the second owner, got it at 50k miles. I'm pretty satisfied, it's a great car. About 3 months after getting it, one of the front springs snapped and popped the tire, My fault because I hit a pothole. $2300 repair because I got all new front suspension and 2 new tires. The only thing that happened recently is the backup camera went pitch black, I actually just picked my car up less than 12 hours ago lol. $600 repair. Water had found its way into the Camera. I also thought the transmission was going out but the dealer insisted that I only needed a transmission fluid flush. Oh how right they were, The transmission shifts smoother and faster than when I got the car. Also got a coolant flush, tire rotation, and underbody cleaning/rust preventative coating. Total out the door was $1700. Considering I drive the thing like it's a sports car, flooring it from every stop, taking corners hard, it's held up fantastically. Only thing I would change is the suspension. Since the Cadenza is on the Optima platform, it shares suspension with the Optima. May look into installing air ride for comfort here in a year or so. I see this car surpassing 200k miles easily with regular maintenance, Just keep in mind, repairs for this car are just as costly as a base C-Class or 5 series. I save money by changing my oil, brakes, etc by myself. Definitely will be getting a new gen K900 after this.
This all new Chevy Traiblazer takes bumps and pothloles smoothly. Thanks for tuning in. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
Original Chevrolet Trailblazer was the better SUV. The new Korean Trailblazer is a subcompact SUV that will play to a different market. Likely it is a decent vehicle option, but would choose Kia Seltos first. Thanks for posting this review ! Cheers !
Not bad im in the market but I dont know as if id pick this over the Seltos or Subaru Forester(i know slightly larger) especially if i wanted to go off road at all....
Well, yes this Chevrolet Trailblazer is big step forward for Chevy. Thank you Chris. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.

It’s crazy that Chevy went from looks, to looks and the best handling for commuting cars. I really want the trailblazer. But there’s just a tiny bit of things I don’t like. 1. Which would be the back door. I don’t really like the design. I feel like they made it and then slapped the lights in without putting good detail into it. 2. The steering wheel I’m glad that it is different than the others. But I wish that it looked more better in my opinion. 3. I wish that the Bose system had atleast 10 speakers instead of 8 but I’m happy there’s active noise canceling. Does it come with HIDs?
Yes, this all new Chevrolet Trailblazer has more design and feature upgrades than previous GM products. Thank you Noah. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing to our channel. Thank you.
Thank you for creating this review! There are some interesting differences between the models sold in the Korean market versus the North American market, but I'm particularly interested in the circumstances leading to your highway fuel economy of 17.3 km/L (40.6 mpg). Do you recall what speed, duration, and driver behaviours facilitated those results?
The highway cruise speed about done driving between 90km/l~100km/l just cruising on the highway. This all new Chevrolet Trailblazer is very efficient. Thank you B. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
Hi John. Glad you like this Chevrolet Trailblazer. Yes, i would consider choosing this Chevrolet Trailblazer over Kia Seltos, if it proves to be reliable. Thank you John.
This was the first review on Google. I’m interested because I don’t need a 1500 sized truck, but I’m really tall. I never met a 6’2” Korean, but you give me some perspective.

I was really excited when I heard they were redoing the Trailblazer but I'm so disappointed... I do like what they did with the Blazer RS though. A lot of fun to drive for a Crossover

Yes, this is the all new 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer. I do prefer Hankook tires, because they do feel softer and also tend to last a big longer. Thank you Boyzepter.
cornerofthemoon it is horribly under powered compared to the older ones my 04 ss has 400 hp and 400 ibft of torque this new model is disgusting compared to the older models
@@AsianPetrolhead My family had quite a lot of Renault cars (aside from Audi and Volkswagen) in the last 20 years, but now we have a Volkswagen Passat (mid-sized sedan) and a Kia Picanto (also known as "Morning" in 🇰🇷)! Greetings from 🇩🇪👍🏻
You probably get this question alot but in your opinion, on the long run think that small powerplant will hold up? I have my reservations on that little engine.
Well, i have driven it like a crazy man for two days straight and it seems to be alright. But yes, you are right we have to actually see the engine in the long run. Thank you Racing Fossil. And please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
That Trailblazer is very impressive... And to me, that's not surprising because it's completely built in Korea... I can guarantee that the American versions of that built here in the U.S. will not come close to being as impressive as this one... I would love to be wrong on this...
Glad you like this all new Chevrolet Trailblazer. I hope this sells well, so more cars would be produced here in Korea. Thank you Anthony. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.

Hi. Love your reviews.. I live in Seoul and about to sign the contract for a chevy trailblazer premier... Will be my first car... for the price point would u pick any other subcompact suv other than the trailblazer?? Also do u think the 3 cylinder engine will be a problem in the long run? Thanks a lot
Well, i would also test drive Kia Seltos or HYundai Venue. But there are price difference. So, i mean if you are a Chevy fan go for it, after driving Seltos and Venue. And if you do get your new car, let's do owner's review! Let us know at knt1966@gmail.com. Thank you.

Great review thanks. If this really tops out at 26K with all those features it is going to sell like hot cake. The Soul should be worried. Edit...look at 9:30....aren't those paddle shifters?

Nice video as always. I kinda like this car, but it doesn't seem to be well built. I would buy a Kia Seltos or a Venue, maybe a Kona. In Brazil, where I live, chevrolet's quality descreased a lot. In the past, we had Opel cars, in other words, german projects. But nowdays GM is bringing to us some cheap chinese projects and they can't be compared to opel cars. I've always had GM cars, but this year, I've chosen to buy a Hyundai, and I can say it was the best thing I've ever done. The build quality is amazing and hyundai is known here for being reliable.
I was just randomly searching for the differences between the Chevy Blazer and Trailblazer, since for the longest time i thought they were the same car. Kind of like how the NBA team is often called either the Blazers or Portland Trailblazers. Nope, and i thought i knew cars. They were always different cars like the Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee, but the Blazer and Trailblazer had both been discontinued for over 10 years. From my search, i found an auto site called motorbiscuit.com, where there's a nearly one year old article talking about the difference between the Blazer and Trailblazer and i was pleasantly surprised to see an embedded video review of the new Blazer from Joe Raiti of Raiti's Rides. I thought to myself, that's a good reviewer to have on a site if you want to know about a lot about a car. I click and watch for a bit as i'm quite familiar with his entertaining reviewing style. I scroll lower into the article where they talk about the Trailblazer and i see your review of it embedded as well, and i'm even more pleasantly surprised. So i watch the entire review and was expecting a mediocre product, as many mainstream/lower priced GM products are often seen as a bit milquetoast in the States compared to the best in segment leaders. But this car seemed to carry itself quite well in your review. Anyway, it was nice to see two of my favorite reviewers get recognized on one of the better auto sites, and who like to give the car the beans on regular roads in their reviews. Well, also Sarah from Sarah-N-Tuned and Roman Mica from TFL Cars and Trucks, who are actually literally known for "giving it the beans". So after all this time i know i'm kind of late, but how do you think the Trailblazer compares with the Seltos and Venue? Oh, and here's the original article: www.motorbiscuit.com/differences-between-the-chevy-blazer-and-trailblazer/
I don't know why Chevy didn't put there 4 cylinder engine in this car. I think they would sell more if they did and keep the 3 cylinder for lower trim levels.

Thank you.
Chevy: can I copy your homework?
Hyundai: yeah just don't make it look obvious
Chevy: *makes it look obvious*

@@AsianPetrolhead I sub'd yesterday, actually. And you're welcome! 🐇
Exterior looks great, dash and guages, not so much. Hate that slow motion gauge sweep on startup, don't even bother. Great review as usual btw!
Yes. Some minor things. But this all new Chevrolet Trailblazer looks and drives very nicely. Thank you.
very nice and really nice said so many times, makes me really want this Nice Chevy.
yes, this Chevy Trailblazer looks very promising!
Fantastic review as always AsianPetrolHead
Thank you Aaron. Glad you liked our Chevrolet trailblazer review. Thanks

@@robertoCarlos-ou2zq If you're in the U.S.....I just went to pick up my Cadenza from the service department today, I saw that they had 4 brand new Seltos models out front! I didn't think they'd be here so soon. They look so good in person too, they're tempting.
@@jaredshelton4718 what year cadenza do you have and how the reliability been with it? I'm really looking into one in the future
How does it soak bumps and potholes.Soft or hard suspension?City streets suck
This all new Chevy Traiblazer takes bumps and pothloles smoothly. Thanks for tuning in. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
Original Chevrolet Trailblazer was the better SUV. The new Korean Trailblazer is a subcompact SUV that will play to a different market. Likely it is a decent vehicle option, but would choose Kia Seltos first. Thanks for posting this review ! Cheers !
Yes, exactly Marc. Chevrolet have used the same Chevrolet Trailblazer name, but now it plays completely different role. Thanks Marc.
Not bad im in the market but I dont know as if id pick this over the Seltos or Subaru Forester(i know slightly larger) especially if i wanted to go off road at all....

Thank you.
Now I know when the new Trailblazer was introduced why it looked so much like a Hyundai SUV, they are making the Trailblazer in Korea
Yes, Johnny. This all new Chevrolet Trailblazer is both designed and assembled here in Korea by GM Korea.
Thank you.
Thanks for the review Charlie! Would you take this, Seltos, or Kona? To me, the Chevy just looks a little too much Ssangyong.
Hi John. Glad you like this Chevrolet Trailblazer. Yes, i would consider choosing this Chevrolet Trailblazer over Kia Seltos, if it proves to be reliable. Thank you John.
Please tell me that the heads up display is for America too.
I am not sure about the US model. But hopefully you guys will also get this Chevrolet Trailblazer with HUD.

Yeah Gian. I really hope the fit and finish of GM cars would come back. Thank you.
Oh, and here's the original article:
www.motorbiscuit.com/differences-between-the-chevy-blazer-and-trailblazer/
Yes, Jack. I am surprised that Chevy just used the Trailblazer name on a compact SUV.
I don't know why Chevy didn't put there 4 cylinder engine in this car. I think they would sell more if they did and keep the 3 cylinder for lower trim levels.
