What a product from GM. This has to be THE perfect vehicle for so many buyers. And realistically you’re not paying $34k. Probably $30k, Maybe $34 after TTL and destination.
Always enjoy your reviews. Back in 1990 I had a difficult time chosing between the Bronco and the Blazer when I was shopping for a new vehicle. Today, I wouldn't even look at the Blazer. In my opinion, Chevy really messed up when they brought this vehicle back.
Here come the idiots in the comment section talking about reliability. This is a Korean made vehicle, not Mexico so there should be little to no issues.
Then why not a Hyundai or Kia for a lot more standard features tech and especially much better ride engine and transmission etc and perhaps a better warranty as well? ✌😊
It's unreliable not because of where it's made but because it has a tiny 1.3 liter turbo engine powering a relatively large vehicle. Engine is already under strain because of the turbocharger but it will be in even more strain when the car is loaded up with people and cargo. No thanks.
awesome review thank you . unfortunaly in the end. its a GM product with Turbo underpowered Engine !!! just give it 5 to 6 years if not even less then that. and lets talk maintenance !!! and warrantee that GM wont honor letting you stranded with the bill .. GM wont take action solving problems in their vehicles unless someone dies !! just look back to their history !!!
My opinion it is just just blah. Not good at one thing it’s just OK over all. I think the bronco sports has better styling. I do think you give up a little on road manners with the Bronco sport. But it gives you the ability to go off road and at least have some fun. Question what is the MPG difference?
I would only get the Bronco cause i would want to go offroading. I also don't own any land or know of any places i could take one offroading. So I went with the Trailblazer cause it is a little cheaper, also I get a GM discount. I also think the Bronco is ugly and would rather have a Jeep.
I'd Take The Ford Bronco In A Heartbeat Over The Trailblazer No Comparison! The Active Trailblazer Is Cute> I Do Have To Give Chevy Props In That Category (Except For That Stupid Looking Antenna) But It Is Severely Lacking In Power & That's What Counts Most At Least To Most Guys!
Kind of sad to see you do review of this junk. Stay away from any GM front wheel drive CUV. If you are in market for this class, wait for Toyota Cross to be available. GM small front wheel drive or big front wheel drive CUVs are junk.

I'm with you Grandpa not digging that mop on top of the brother's head, makes me hot & wanna drive him to the nearest barber shop in that Trailblazer, Lol!
You probably just misspoke but that is not a 4 cylinder engine. There are only two 3 cylinder engines available in the TrailBlazer a 1.2 and a 1.3.
That AC socket for portable heater or a mini fan since there's no air vents at the back 😅😅😅

My daughter has the RS with CVT. Surprised how peppy it is. 👍🏾 Good review.
The passenger seat back also folds down increasing its cargo compacity.
Pax seat folds flat for segment leading cargo capacity. Same with Buick Encore and Equinox/Terrain twins.

why not put the 2.0 I-4 turbo in this?

This vehicle would make sense only if you price it against the Nissan Kicks.

Great Review Forrest. I am not a fan of these small 3 cyl turbo engines in vehicles this heavy. JMHO.
Cute vehicle sadly not a choice I would make. And yes I would choose the bronco sport first edition over this particular Chevy. Thx for the review👍
Is this a compact or subcompact?
Sunroof open?
the front panel slides open 90%
Can you guys check the blazer rs or premier

Let me summarize the review, it is slow no too ways getting around it, transmission is slow to shift, the ride is bad, and it is expensive. Junk
But you got admit it has curb appeal!
Owners say it is responsive and that's us all that matters as no one needs foot-planted to 60 mph times during their commute
not even close
If I’m watching car reviews I don’t want your personal opinion I just want the facts
Sounds like what you’re looking for is a press release. How do you expect a review to have no opinion??

LOL!!
155 horsepower? Even the Corolla has 169 horsepower! Way too slow and underpowered, get outta here with your 3 cylinder 1.3 liter clown engine!
It’s a 3 cylinder my guy
Jeep Renegade Trailhawk please,...... this thing isnt going to be offroad on anything other than a forest service rioad maybe
I'm just fantasizing about what it would look like if he took off a full face motorcycle helmet... I wonder if it would make like a "fwoop" sound.
as usual, General Mess just bought a 2018 Hyundai and copied it. in this case, the Kona. 🙄
well, since they really don't look the same GM did a bad job copying. Kona is even significantly smaller

3 cyl
Needs a 4 cylinder engine.
