This is one of my favorite blind buys. So gourmand, I love cacao, coffee, vanilla, and rose scents.

I blind bought this too. It arrived today and I couldn't be happier with it. Just the right amount of cacao. Gourmand but in a grown up way. I like it better than Intense Cafe.
Would you say it means masculine? Is it close to Intense cafe?
@@angelamaiyo2524 It is very subpart to Intense Cafe, one of my favorite scents. I think it's quite Unisex.

I am definitely convinced that it is a clone of Ristretto Intense Cafe.
It leans a little coarser and more masculine than the original, and I think it has a fruity aroma.

At last, a review on Mochawood lol. I love this fragrance so much that I had to get a back up bottle and I'm sure my back up bottle will soon have a back up bottle 😅
It smells exactly like Mancera Roses Vanille to my nose and it performs so well during the colder months.
I don't smell anything metallic in mine. I think you should allow it macerate for a while, you will love it! One of my obsessions at the moment is this one.

I think i might have to let my bottle macerate. I got it today and all I smell is rhubarb with slight hints of oud and rose. No tobacco, coffee or rose.
On top of that, it becomes a skin scent almost immediately.
Pretty disappointed to be honest. Was hoping for much better after seeing the glowing reviews and comparisons to Intense Cafe.
It's actually a clone/inspiration of Hero by Boadicea the Victorious
I love this perfume especially now in the winter months I have been wearing it a lot with Oud Mood ❤️

I got this one recently. It's everything you said. The strange thing is, after it settles on my skin it smells like root beer and vanilla ice cream to me. I like it. I think I should let it sit longer and try it again. I think what surprised me most is even unisex, I thought it might be a little darker than it is. For some reason I have a hard time with coffee notes smelling like coffee on me.

Hi Cee! I have this one and I love it! I layer it with Ameer Al Oud! I get so many compliments! I don’t think it leans masculine. Definitely unisex imo. It smells really good on me!

Is the ameer al oudh the intense version or the regular one?
I bought it. You were right, it's not masculine at all. I think the notes are misleading tbh, I don't get any tobacco, oud, patchouli, saffron or rhubarb. Maybe a hint of rhubarb. To me this is very, very, similar to Fragrance World Gentle Gold, just sweeter and with a hint of rose. Gentle Gold is one of my favourite perfumes so I'm well happy with this. It's strong as well for being brand new, and I know it'll get even stronger with time.
Edit I actually do get a bit of oud once it fully dries down and the rose comes out a bit more too. It smells a bit like a chocolate covered Turkish Delight. I really like it.

Oh my gosh I love Barrakat Gentle Gold! I've just bought Mocha Wood so hopefully it won't be redundant.
I have Montale Intense cafe and i'm intersesting in Mocha wood also. But one thing I quite don't like Montale is a signature smell like a hint of oud in this brand. Thank you so much Cee for all the time great review. 💕

I purchased it after doubting for a while bcs I thought it was masculine. Oh no, it's def unisex and I love it. I'm now macerating it a bit. I smell creamy chocolate on the dried down. I love it. I am happy I got it.

I just read in a Reddit forum that Mocha Woods is actually inspired by Boadicea the Victorious Hero. That makes sense to me for a couple of reasons: its more complex than Intense Cafe, and the other two fragrances in this line (green and purple bottles) are dupes of Boadicea the Victorious scents. I appreciate this more and more the longer I have it. BTW, Hero has hazelnut and tobacco, both of which could contribute to the chocolaty sense this gives.

Mocha wood… I just bought it, it smell like roses vanilla…no coffe or tobacco or the note listed.
CEE! I just got this today from Amazon and upon first spritz, it is love.
It’s so comforting and I can definitely smell all of the notes minus the tobacco. Which works for me as I’m but a fan of tobacco and was worried it would be overpowering.
I picked it up when I heard you mentioning this in another video and was happy to have found it on Amazon. 😊

I got it some time ago but I felt it was bit redundant as I already had Zara's Rose Gourmand and they are quite similar to me..I don't detect any metallic smell in mine though!😊

Coffee and cocoa I should try even though I don’t like unisex perfume.
I’m right there with you, if it says unisex, it’s a no for me, always. I keep telling myself just try it,but for some reason in my mind it just doesn’t make sense to me. I can’t get passed that.
This one leans feminine though 💕
I find it more feminine than masculine
It's extremely feminine, they're just labelling everything unisex now to double the amount of people who buy it and men are wearing more feminine perfumes than they used to. This is way less unisex than something like Baccarat Rouge, which I also find feminine. It's a super sweet gourmand.
I just got this and it seems very. I sprayed it 3 times on my arm and it is already a skin scent after 5 minutes!
Also, all I get is the rhubarb note and the slight hint of rose, not much else. No coffee, no cinnamon, no tobacco.
I really hope it improves. I will let it macerate for a few weeks. Was really looking forward to wearing this, but so far it smells like rhubarbs with slight hints of oud and rose. I want to smell the coffee, tobacco and tonka bean etc

Agreed. It arrived tonight and I was worried about it being masculine as well. It's absolutely unisex! Sweeter than I thought it would be but it's nice. I was hoping for more chocolate though or coffee notes.
@@Kasukascreations just my experience, but when I apply Mocha Wood lightly the chocolate and coffee come through more; when I apply more heavily, I get more of the rose, vanilla and musk.

Give it a little time. Fragrance World Perfumes always start off sharp and confusing. Re visit it after a couple of weeks 🥰

It's got the exact same notes as Hero by Boadicea The Victorious so I think it's supposed to be a clone of that but the reviews of Hero say it smells like Intense Cafe or Roses Vanille. I've just got Mocha Wood and it smells almost identical to my Fragrance World clone of Gentle Fluidity Gold but even sweeter and with a touch of rose. So even though it is technically supposed to be Hero it does smell like Intense Cafe, Roses Vanille, GFG and probably Zara Rose Gourmand. It's really nice. I don't find it unisex personally, I was worried it'd be masculine but it's very feminine to me.
