My friend, I feel your pain, don't let those 'in power' get you down, as that's what they want. I have some South African friends and the same happens there, their electric supply is cut at certain times of the day also, extremely disruptive. So far here in the UK we've been fortunate, but still getting hit with crippling gas & electric bills.
As for your mental and physical well being, take time for yourself, do what makes you happy, especially if you have family who depend on you. It's not being selfish, but essential to take care of yourself, as without you, where would your family be.
Keep up the great work, stay focused (easy to say, I know), stay strong. The day will come when we will reflect upon these times and be amazed by how we all came through them, and because of them will have a greater appreciation for our strength of character, our determination, and for those we love and hold dear, and the amazing world we live in, once it's free of the tyrannical grasp of those power-hungry, money-grabbing tyrants.
I wish you (and everyone here), health, happiness and courage to continue on. Tough times indeed, but we can get through them. Peace.

I would never dream of lifting an opened bottle of red wine by the cork, and NEVER pick up a perfume bottle by the cap! Great vid Joy.

Bought Shawq by Swiss Arabian a couple of months ago and absolutely love it, had to go back and pick up two more bottles and now layer it with A myriad of my other fragrances I own and the result is always spectacular. To my nose it smells exactly like montale intense cafe.excellent stuff with very good longevity and projection.
If it's sweet iam gonna love it anyway.... Ordered one today.. Let's see.

Joy I believe this is a inspired version of Hero by Boadicea the Victorius. Definitely a very nice scent.
I've had this for a while now and I've not used it much at all. It's just too sweet for me. Almost headache inducing. Easily the sweetest fragrance I own and I own sweet ones like MM By the fireplace. It has a beautiful bottle and sprayer though.
i can see how that can put one off, it is indeed very sweet

JOY I'm wearing this as my SOTD. This is an Amazing Scent. I paid 25 USD off of Amazon back in February 2024. I do not own any of the Originals which Ive heard that they are duping. But by itself it is a really nice Frag for Sure.
I Was waiting for this.
Out of all the fragrances I have, none captures what I believe my essence is more than this. Coffee, mocha, cardamom, booze, and oud. This is the only fragrance I have a backup bottle of. I've heard this is cloning Boadicea the Victorious Hero also. I haven't smelled any this is being compared to and I don't think I need to. Perfect 20 out 10. I don't think this will be a blind reach in the summer, so if anyone knows a spring or summer version of this, I'd love to know. Otherwise, I'll just watch the sprays. Keep em coming OG!

Hey Joy. Great video as always. Hey, I just noticed when you leaned over and spoke directly into the mic your voice sounded excellent. Just a suggestion, you may try pointing the microphone towards your mouth and maybe a little closer if possible. That's just one thing I noticed when watching your videos, the audio usually is a bit quiet and sounds a little hollow. It sounds like you have a really good mic there, and your voice sounds great!

Why do UA-camrs never say this is a roses Vanille dupe?
Coz it's not? It might be similar but Roses Vanille doesn't have coffee, hazelnut, saffron, ylang ylang, tobacco, patchouli and oud. It's got the exact same notes as Boadicea The Victorious Hero.

Most Fragrances from this house weak
This is the weakest fragrance I smelled ever! Don't buy.
Let it macerate. I felt the same.
Used it twice (10+ sprays both times); and kept it away in a dark corner in its box to macerate for 2 months; just used it today, and it's gotten stronger.
