Another awesome build video from our team member Jim Goodwin. Both the Veloxity and Edge XL are very easy to put together by even the novice builders. Such an awesome model! We are wishing everyone an enjoyable build with hundreds of amazing flights to follow, enjoy!
I usually start with a double sided velcro about where I think I will place a permanently cut slot. I attach the velcro by cutting two horizontal slots through the vertical fuselage and feed it through. This allows me some time to adjust the CG until I settle on exactly where I will have a permanent cutout for the battery.
Thanks for the video... It re-ignited my excitement for this plane as mine was just sitting in the garage... Just did 2 successful flights and love it. What prop are you running? I'm running 3S 2200mah so far... Thanks!
could be something small like you thrust angle off a little causing a different angle of attach depending on the speed. Would do a downward decent with out power to see what why she pulls. A great video
Great video. What is your timer set for with that 2200.
It's at about 6 mins with pushing it pretty hard.
Really helpful for my laser xl build. Thank you! Could I ask, how did you do the battery strap to stop it from damaging the foam?

Jim most likely us using the stock provided prop in the pc which is APC's 12x4.6MR
I am running 1300 3s and 4s I did not like it, I thought 3s 2200 where too heavy try it and let me know if you agree
hi, quick question., for my edge 540, do i need to do the balance CG inveterted or normal position? thanks guys
You can. Wings are symmetrical and no dihedral so you can check cg upright or inverted.
Thanks, very helpful information
