I'm a Mancunian, Manchester City fan of many years, yet I have to admit that I absolutely love watching Roy Keane. I love his dry humour, sarcasm and also his honesty.
He's great.

Roy is bang on about the boat. Best way to travel.
Would love to see him managing again. David Moyes has a disastrous five years but is now adored at West Ham, in his second stint there, after getting fired from Real Sociedad and relegating Sunderland. Can see Keane maturing. I hope he doesn't give up the idea of managing, maybe when his kids are a bit older and he is ready.
I think Roy falls into the same category as Stevie G and Frank Lampard fantastic player mediocre manager

Roy is better off out of management. You can tell how much is he still obsessed with the game, the losses still hurt him. At least he no longer has to take the hurt home with him.

@@martinmcguire9974 great player especially going forward but Keane was by far the best box to box midfielder in premiership history and the only 2 guys that were the closest to his level were the brilliant Gerrard and Scholes and they both say the same.

As an American, this is my first time seeing one of Roy Keane's personal interviews. He is simply cool.
Decent interview but surprised Roy even agreed to be interviewed about this stuff.

Respectfully not Joes best interview, some very silly questions, very cringey at times, respectfully.
Roy's so angry he's going to stand outside his house and give him The Stare.
Only had 20 minutes. I think Joe thought that if he just repeated the usual stuff nothing interesting would come. So he tried to work in via a different route, get him relaxed and it almost worked. But you're probably right, it didn't lead to what he would have hoped for. Still a great interviewer though.
I thought there was 2 to blame tbh. Roy seemed disinterested too. Can't put all the blame on Molloy

The questions are not the best ,some really inane questions,embarrassing at times,I think otb preferred tittle tattle to sport,keano on radio not even a mention of irelands young players ,his opinion of them ,Kenny ect,why we are not producing top players that's what I'd like to know and Bearley a mention of premier league,just silly questions about being on sky panel

Why what was the issue?
Roy's comments on people asking for selfies are interesting. There's definitely a lack of respect with some people . A sense of entitlement. Ud see the same with people asking for selfies off GAA players. In some cases they hardly even have the manners to ask.
Not everybody had a phone let alone a phone with a camera on it back when keano was playing.
Roy can't go more than a month without media attention. Loves it, despite what he claims.

To the interviewer: learn to have an engaging conversation. Keano was incredibly good natured, you were poking him like a reptile with meaningless questions.
Digging up past interviews regarding what Roy said about punditry, cmon,that was as embarrassing as a tubridy question. In future fan questions should be asked they're more clued in on what's going on. smh 🙈🙉🙊
Manners, it used to be taught to children. Please and thank you, or asking for permission is a lost art in modern social society.If a gate is closed, when you approach it, make sure it's closed when you walk away from it.
Instead of Roy abandoning his account and 2 million follows which could bring him in some extra income due to running ads etc why didn't he just appoint someone to run it for him and delegate duties to them by either getting them to write his posts and share his opinion or at the very least just keep it as a thing he can use to promote himself and let the fans know what he has going on, on the horizon i.e when he will next be a pundit for which game etc. I mean, just to throw away a built up audience like that with a very respectful number of followers, he's crazy to just throw it away when he could generate an income from it by doing very little. Hes done the hard work by building up the number of followers hes got. I don't think him or his team thought it through properly. His daughter should have kept it going even if he wanted no part of it anymore.

Jesus christ, the most annoying questions for a Legend. Same boring crap, you can tell Roy is getting frustrated near the end of the interview. Ask proper questions when you have the opportunity to interview one of our living Legends.
