SEASON 2 for "Single by 30" please!!! Rewatched this series at least 5 times over both now and while it was on UA-cam RED. It deserves a second season!
Watched this during Coronavirus quarantine! Binged it all in one day and I absolutely loved it! Great work guys! I definitely think there should be a season 2!
I loved this show! I put off my homework to binge all 8 episodes and I must say I'm glad I did. I think that this show not only resonates with Asian-American viewers but with a lot of minorities in general. As a young black girl in her 20s, going to college while trying to figure out my life at the same time and what I want, it was very refreshing to see Sarah portrayed in a very positive light. She kind of has it all together but doesn't at the same time. Joanna helps us realize that sometimes it's okay to just take things slowly in order to figure out what you want in life. I really appreciated that. Also Mark and Chloé were hilarious! This show was definitely new, different and exciting. It was very intricate while still remaining simple and grounded all at the same time. I loved it! Please please please! Make season 2! I'll be rewatching season 1 in the meantime lol

I've never watched any of your videos before this series, and y'all blew me away. This series could win an Emmy already, and I'm sure season 2 will be even better. Now to specifics... I really liked the pacing of the episodes and the overall story arcs. One could say that the main story arc was more of a wave in that there was a lot of back and forth, but it was done in a way where the viewer found themselves rooting for both characters. It was even in the arc/wave with Mark and Chloe (although they were harder to root for, honestly). The character development was very well done too. I felt that I got to know each character enough, but not too much. The characters that were deeply fleshed out weren't unrealistically great or awful; they were normal, sorta jacked up, sorta put together people. The characters with smaller roles had clearly defined relationships with the main characters and each other in a way that drove the main story forward without glossing over their own stories. The camera work wasn't bland or overly artsy; there was a nice balance. The lighting was always subtly fantastic, and audio was never an issue (although there was one shot where a lav mic is prominently shown). The costume department deserve a huge shoutout, because there weren't any characters that stuck out like a sore thumb, but the costume choices fit the characters' personalities. The sets were easily recognizable for what they were, for example, the differences between Joanna and Peter's apartments spoke to who they are individually. I hope this is the kind of feedback y'all are looking for, Wong Fu! Sorry for the wall of text, fellow commenters!
Loved it! The inner conflicts of Joanna and Peter are so relatable, and the twist where the parents come in is much appreciated. All the humor throughout was perfect icing on the cake. I was so happy with the finale, but.... Season 2 PLEASE!!!
A Season 2 would be absolutely phenomenal, especially if you plan to plunge deeper into the character development arcs and stories. Fantastic job Wong Fu~
Honestly one of my favorite shows in a long time. You could really feel the emotions the characters were feeling. I felt like I was there in the room with a bucket of popcorn watching each scene happen. I hope this show has many more seasons to come. Also no doubt netflix would pick you guys up in a heartbeat! Great production and cast overall!
Season 2 has to happen. VGHS is over and I found this show to be something that grabbed my attention in a similar fashion. Nothing else like it on tv. Many different directions the story could go. Interested to find out what happens next. Need another extra? lol available to be in an episode or two lol

I just binge watched the whole series and wow. You guys honestly killed it. I loved the plot, cinematography, acting, diversity, I loved it all. I'm really hoping there's another season. I have to know what happens next for Peter and Joanna. And of course Chloe and Mark. But even if there's not a season 2, I know Wong Fu will keep releasing quality content.
I finally picked up this series after hearing about it for a while when my siblings were watching. I didn't understand why they were obsessed but now I understand. It was so good I didn't want it to end. I watched the whole series one one day and was sad because there were only 8 episodes lol. I hope there is a second season 🤞🏽
loved the series - I agree with Wes, its everything that you don't find on tv. The characters felt so real and I loved the final scene where it ends with Joanna on the phone, suggesting that this story continues beyond "the end".
i watched every week! i really enjoyed the acting of every single actor/actress. They were all so natural, and the emotions were so genuine. At times, I forgot Kina didn't have any/ much acting experiences! Of coz, the plot was great too! I loved how the "current" bits always responded to the "high school" bits. Finally, the plot, especially the ending of each episode, always made my heart clinches. You may say I was always happily angry... "darn, i have to wait for another week!" Great job guys!! I am so proud of your team! Even though I had to pay each week because I'm in Hong Kong, I willingly paid because you guys definitely deserve my support! (I would give a second thought if there is another season... paying every week for an extensive period of time is quite expensive...hmmm :P) Awesome job!!! #proud

You guys are definitely hitting all the moments Young Adults feel in the dating realm, the strength it takes to admit to any commitment, the transition into a relationship for two best friends, etc. I really cried for both Joanna and Peter, and I applaud Kina and Harry for making their characters so real.
I watched every week. I actually thought it was over at episode 5 until I cried to Kina Grannis on Twitter and she told me there was still more to come! I actually enjoyed every moment of it. I think one of my favorite parts was when the mother told her story of her former lover and how her character got so deep in so little time, how I felt for her with such little information. It was great to see that.
This is a great series of Wongfu and it also happens that my 30th birthday is coming this December too so I feel even more in the shoes of the characters. I dropped tears for the last two episodes, .particularly the proposal of Peter to Chloe. Please keep on the good works, Wongfu! I would love to see a second season!!!

I must say, I really enjoyed the first season. I did tear up during the last episode and I'm not known for getting too emotional with movies and shows. At first I didn't expect too much but you guys did a fantastic job and I absolutely cannot wait for the second season. I had a connection with the characters that I usually don't feel in most other shows. It was really a treat to be able to experience it and as I said before, I couldn't be any more excited for season two! Keep up the amazing work guys!

I loved the season! It was fantastic seeing all these character basically finding their "person" out there in the world. I definitely watched each week and that was my highlight on a Wednesday, haha. Yesterday I tried the free trial on UA-cam red and binge watched Single by 30 and I didn't like it, I LOVED IT. I literally cried more than three times and that's a shocker cause I've never cried at a movie or tv series before. I love the content you guys make and I'm very excited to see what the future holds for your channel! I really hope you make a season two!!!

Ok. Just finished watching all 8 episodes to include the bloopers/outtakes. YES, there should be a season 2. Filled with Peter and Joanna's life as he works in San Fran and she stays in L.A. Does she visit him while he's gone? How their relationship works when he gets back. OR, maybe throw in the idea of him being offered a permanent position in LA and how he has to break the news to Joanna and how that plays on their relationship if he were to stay. Does he stay or does he resign for love and lose out on an awesome career opportunity. Life choices. Relationship choices. Omg. I should be a writer. Lol. I would watch this everyday!! Lol. I loved the season! It was fantastic seeing all these character basically finding their "person" out there in the world. I definitely watched each week and that was my highlight on a Wednesday, haha. I would love love love to see a Season 2! Wong fu, you all did a really great job on this series and you always keep raising the bar out there, great job!

Yesterday I tried the free trial on UA-cam red and binge watched Single by 30 and I didn't like it, I LOVED IT. I literally cried more than three times and that's a shocker cause I've never cried at a movie or tv series before. I love the content you guys make and I'm very excited to see what the future holds for your channel! I really hope you make a season two!!!

Ok. Just finished watching all 8 episodes to include the bloopers/outtakes. YES, there should be a season 2. Filled with Peter and Joanna's life as he works in San Fran and she stays in L.A. Does she visit him while he's gone? How their relationship works when he gets back. OR, maybe throw in the idea of him being offered a permanent position in LA and how he has to break the news to Joanna and how that plays on their relationship if he were to stay. Does he stay or does he resign for love and lose out on an awesome career opportunity. Life choices. Relationship choices. Omg. I should be a writer. Lol. I would watch this everyday!! Lol. Great job!! Hope to see more soon.
