i tried that on here with mine, back in 2014 after i lost everything to my ex wife, she also broke in cut water pipes and turned the heat off, flooding my home and freezing it up, the insurance cut me a check for the write off of the mobile home for 58k, she got a court order to get the funds, i live on a #1000 cnd cpp disability well she makes over 60k a year, for the past 30 years i raises live stock to feed families in need and my self, i built up my homestead since i bought my land at 18, now 58, but was forced to give it to her to sell, for less then i paid at 18, with nothing but trees.. when i paid cash for it.. check me out.. nothing came of my go fund me, so i hope the best for them..
Never experienced a tornado hope I never will. We get our fair share of snow and drifting in western New York but at least you know it’s going to melt. Prayers to those who suffered this loss and to all those who helped in this time of need 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you are all Ok. It is so nice to see everyone helping each other out. I was part of a 2am truck and cattle trailer rescue effort. Many farmers arrived with what was needed and pitched in.
I went to school with Mandy - she's a stand up person and it's horrible that this happened, but I'm heartened that the community is pulling together to help out.
Prayers to your family and all those affected by the storm. What a blessing all the neighbors were to band together so quickly and help. I love how farmers stick together when others are inneed. .
My neighbor had this happen to him September of 2018. 2 hours after the storm we got word the neighbors barn blew down. We hooked the cattle trailer up and headed out. When we got there which was maybe 10 mile drive there was already 15 trailers ahead of us and more coming in. We had his entire 250 head herd out of there in about 2 hours. We had sheriff escorts to block roads so the cattle tricks doesn't have to wait at intersections. It was really a sight to be seen.
insurance will build them a bigger better barn, as well as the farm subsidies available, old farms are turning fully computerized here new barns an all here for the past 10 years, i even see in the usa a family can apply for grants to build a huge high tunnel in there back yard
It is the best feeling to see when a farmer has something catastrophic happen and all the neighbours come out to help out. This happened to us once but in stead of a tornado it was a raging fire. Good luck to all to those farmer to getting back on their feet. Keep up the great work Ryan!
WOW! Glad you and your family are safe. I remember the tornadoes that hit uw platteville a few years back. I had just finished my freshman year there. My prayer to everyone involved.
We had a Tabbaco barn get nocked down by one. It had 2 big 4wds, a little 5050, and a teregater. It lifted a barn and threw it. It tore up the hood and muffler on the 5055 but didnt touch the other ones. There is stuff scattered everywhere
Glad you're safe and you were lucky enough to escape any major damage. Very nice to see a community come together to help others in a time of need! I hope this makes them reconsider the need for Solar Farms in the area!!
I remember the night I graduated high school, May 30, 1984, back in Wenona, IL. We had a tornado go thru during my graduation party, just 1 mile south of our farmhouse. It hit my Godfather's farmstead dead on, and took out every building except for 1 grain bin, and the house, luckily. All the neighbors came to help too. Farmers helping farmers. We always have, we always will.
UGGH! So sorry about your cousins barn! Hoping no one or livestock were injured! Thoughts and prayers going out to all who were affected by this tornado!
Pray everyone gets through. We had a tornado hit a friend's house once. We went to help. Then word spread and a semi van trailer came and droves of people. We pack all of their belongings in the trailer in a couple hours. It was awesome to be apart of. Farmer have to stick together.
Ryan this is Ron Jennings from Indianapolis Indiana we are so sorry that your second cousin got hit all of our wishes from Indiana to you and your family and your cousins hope everything will be alright we're glad you're safe
Jim, when they are able to see the carnage from the storm, people will say, HOW IN THE HECK DID THAT HAPPEN/DO THAT. The damage could be a sculpture or a creation for viewing. Strange things happen in swirling winds.
Ryan, Potosi wasn't the only ones that got hit hard. West of you north of the town of Sherrill Iowa, four farms were hit very hard. Barns gone, grain bins gone, silos damaged. If you want to add some of this to your next video just drive north of Sherrill and you can see the path it took. It looks like it took a beeline path right to Potosi. If you want, get ahold of me and I can show you around.
Hi Ryan this is Mike and Sherrill from Arizona we just watched your most recent video, we hope everything is OK at your place, as well as your neighbors and your family. God bless everyone there and best wishes from Arizona.
Hey we're just a few miles up the road and let me say that one caught us be surprise. We thankfully didn't have any buildings damaged but it made a mess of some of our timber. I feel bad for the 4 farms that was damaged! Wandering if you were able to get some drone footage? Would love to see it! Thanks keep up the good videos!
Less than 1000 feet. Wow. Got lucky on that one. I'd be interested to see the drone video, if you can get the path on video. I feel terrible for your neighbors. It's good to see that the community came and helped out, though. Farmin' folk are the best folk! Hopefully your neighbors can recover and rebuild. Probably going to have to be extra careful planting and cutting this year. Looks like a lot of stray bits floating around out there, Ryan. Be safe.
Scary stuff! I hope everyone is okay. The wind is still howling here in Iowa, but nothing like what caused all the damage in your video. No one needs solar panels that badly! Thank you for posting. What a crazy weekend! Your town deserves a lot of props. Tell Travis you have found your "Good Time to Panic" only 3 years after his.
I think ive seen that place before on your videos working with some young calves, looks recognizable , I pray everyone is ok and everything is working out for the damages.
There was a large tornado yesterday afternoon 60 miles SW of here in Jonesboro, Ark. It did a lot of major damage,, but there were only 6 minor injuries. It missed us in Kennett, Mo by just a few miles to the west.
Glad to hear everyone is safe. Barns and things can be replaced. Good to see everyone come together to help one another. Be safe never know what you will find in the day light..
As a fellow farmer, I feel for yous. Thank God for our friends who show up in times of need. Farming is tough enough then Mother Nature throws a twister at ya. Hope no lives were lost. Prayers at yous.

It is terrible to see the destruction of a tornado and you feel so bad for the victims who lost buildings / livestock / equipment. Thank God you and your family appear to have escaped the wrath of the storm
Wow! So thankful you guys got spared, but so sorry for your cousin and all the rest of the farms that got hit. Just what everyone needs in the middle of this virus thing. Hang in there!!!
The farming communities across America are tight nit groups of people. If you live in a farming community there is always help when you need it. Farmers are amazingly selfless people.
its alwas sad to see a working dairy farm go through this,it makes for a lot of work taking care of the cattle we live just north of you the wind was strong here but no damage.
Glad to see everyone helping out 🇺🇸 Ryan how long after your livestream was this yesterday? Guess Hannah looking out the windows being a little nervous was justified. Hope everyone was ok and not hurt. 🙏 〽️
This is why I love the farming community... we will drop everything to help those who need it. So proud of the men and women who bust their butts everyday to feed the nation!
There’s been a relief fund set up to help the Bartels Family: www.gofundme.com/f/bartels-family-storm-relief?+share-sheet

Farmers doing what farmers do best coming together helping each other out.
Glad you are all Ok. It is so nice to see everyone helping each other out. I was part of a 2am truck and cattle trailer rescue effort. Many farmers arrived with what was needed and pitched in.
Send prayers to the people in Ryan's area and wherever tornados have recently hit
I will
Sent something more useful then "prayers"
I went to school with Mandy - she's a stand up person and it's horrible that this happened, but I'm heartened that the community is pulling together to help out.

I’m both happy that i missed all that when the storm passed but most sad cause this kind of thing shouldn’t happen to anyone I’m glad y’all are safe
This is horrible. Gives goosebumps to see neighbours helping neighbours. Good job boys
Despite the Corona virus people are still pulling together to help somebody else out I guess that's a big difference between common sense and paranoia
Yeah, call it paranoia when a loved one is in ICU fighting for their life. Fucking moron.
This is why I love the farming community... we will drop everything to help those who need it. So proud of the men and women who bust their butts everyday to feed the nation!
Yeah it great how people pull together to help each other in time of needs
glad you guys are safe
i was wondering if those storms was close to you. i guess my feeling was right. prayers for all affected by this
