@@4zR1A9 I did get 30% off the tubeless tyres from a Christmas sale, the original tubes don't have removable valves to put sealant in so I was going to change the tubes anyway so I thought I'd bite the bullet & go straight to tubeless, I've kept the original tyres & tubes just in case.
Thanks for watching, I could get a carbon handlebar etc but I'm happy with the sub 12kg real weight with pedals etc, will re-evaluate after a few more epic rides coming up.
@@raymond1035 that's pretty amazing, I'm stoked with mine, I have a Blue Mountains trail video coming up in a few weeks where I could do the hills without getting off the bike & walking 😊
WOW! From 13.32 kg to 11.8 with only a tyre change and making them tubeless? That's wild! My full sus had these very heavy Maxxis Fiorekasters that were about 1kg each. I then put some Wolfpack tyres and saved about 500-600 grams and being tubeless even more. I was hesitating abouyt the Polygon Syncline, but maybe I shouldn't. How's the bike holding after a year? any problems with the frame or anything?
@@BoyanGeorgiev666 bike's still going great. Mainly XC trails. Took it on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail last year, 161km over 3 days, video series on my channel. Had the bottom bracket replaced before the BVRT, I've learnt that if ridden in extreme rain & mud like 2 events last year to take the seat post out & drain the bike upside down to avoid moisture collecting in the bottom bracket area ☺️

What do you think about upgrading MTB tyres to tubeless? Costs in description #### @bikesonline
Maybe using the tube one until it's done and then upgrade it. Tube one always cost low to change the tubes damage.

And that 11.83 is with the bottles and saddle bag...
I believe you can save some more..
Tanks for sharing

I got mine to around 9.5kg! It's a really awesome bike even before all my upgrades!
