i really enjoy the yarn hauls. The blue silver magic glitz is my favorite. That would make a beautiful hexagon cardigan.

A Cardigan is definitely also a good possibility. Initially I was thinking of some kind of sweater for most of it.

O wow Stine all the colors are beautiful. Cant wait to see what you are going to make. Thanks for sharing. Love your hauls. Never used any chenile yarn and would therefore choose the Baby Chenile yarn to make a squishy baby blanket
The Chenile yarns are absolutely amazing to make plushies with, which is something I am slowly diving a little into also. It is definitely very soft and would make squishy and loveable items.

I just bought the mandala string. 1 weight, acrylic 320m and 350 yards. I love working with it. Garment worthy.
I made a shawl with the Mandala String
I had the feeling this is the same as the mandala string. Gotta find some pattern suggestions for a project. Since these are still waiting on being used.

Beautiful colors of the variegated yarn. Varigated yarn is my weakness. That and hand dyed yarn. I love them all. 😍
To be honest, I couldn't see myself work with any of this yarn. I mostly work with wool and natural fibers.
I do have acrylic, but as time goes by, I find myself using it less and less. So it would only be taking up space here. But like I said, I love the colours.
Varigated yarns and cakes, and you got me sucked all in. Love them! Or a soft pretty colored hand dyed yarn. I see them and I want to buy them, yet I hesistate cause I have so many other ideas lined up.
I find myself work with all kinds of fibers, and wouldn't say yet that I have found one that I enjoy less. That said, I am impressed with those who can crochet with the thinnest of yarns that resemble sewing thread.
@@myworldofcrochet I'm sure you would be able to crochet with thin yarn, if you practice. I've seen how stubborn you can be. So I'm sure you can do what ever you want to, as long as you set your mind to it. 😀
So with this.
I crocheted a sweater with rainbow magic and it pilled after one wash (lay flat to dry). I see that they now have magic anti-pilling. Wonder if the magic glitz will pill. Great yarn haul. Love that gelato. If it is indeed similar to Lion Brand Thread, then Ice is a good deal.
Thank you so much on your insight on the rainbow magic, so very sorry to hear it pilled after just one wash, even when you followed the instrictions. I will definitely make a swatch of the Magic Glitz and throw it in the wash to see how it handles it.
That dk cake is the same as my bonus mandala in color I’m currently making a blanket with it.
Ohh, very interesting. to the Cakes DK from Ice is likely a duplicate of the Bonus Mandala cake. I know Papatya also have cakes that seems like duplicates.
Ice’s site can be a little hard to navigate, but reviews such as yours help me so much! Some can’t get past the frt but if you just look at the total and divide by the skein or ball, I find the prices are usually such a good deal! So many of them are duplicates of others I think. Some do find that their Wts classification can be off a bit.
Ohh the freight is horible, but it is definitely much less when looking at it all combined. The prices are often a good deal, though a few yarns may actually be found elsewhere under different names. I am planning videos for this exact topic to be posted on this channel. So yes, there are definitely duplicates between and you need to be good at spotting them. Sometimes Ice is cheaper, sometimes not.
Yep, weight isn't always the one I agree with either
I’m in America. We only have to pay taxes and shipping. No duties, etc. I find the smell goes away if I let it sit out for a day or or so. 78565 I think. The pkg was broken. It is the Rainbow cakes. Just hoping the wt is wrong, and it’s a 3wt! 😂
We pay VAT (valued added taxes) and shipping to receive from Turkey here. And yes the funky smell luckily goes away if you let it sit out for bit. The rainbow cakes, which btw is gorgeous - are unfortunately just a 2wt yarn 🥺
The dk cake is exactly the same as the mandala I am using now, it has 590 yrds

The rainbow roving is my favorite though I’m not sure it has the right name, it’s more of a natural muted rainbow
Yeah the rainbow rowings are gorgeous, but I agree that not always the name seems fitting. On the other hand I also do not think it is easy to come up with names.
