Two boats "buzzing" each other is a great way to see many points of the crafts sailing. I really like your sailing grounds from what I can see of the body of water pictured!
Very nice to see. The Piccup Pram looks about the same size as my folding Seahopper, which I'm just learning to sail. I appreciate the demo! I also liked your fish-jump choreography at 1:25. Cheers and fair winds from Japan.
I’ve come to love simple boats. These aren’t going to set any world speed records. But we can put both of them in the bed of my truck and take them pretty much anywhere.
@@timhudson1846 Probably only a negligible cost difference. I've never built a PDR, but I would guess this would be harder, even though it's pretty simple in the grand scheme of boatbuilding. Check out Michalak's book, Boatbuilding For Beginners And Beyond.
@@seanmccambridge Humm ?? I've got half the battle won.. already have a puddle Duck Hull.. Just need lee board mast/sail rudder . Paint it. Standing lug sail ? IDK?

Every now and then my wife looks at my phone. She always finds I have been watching sailboat porn. I just can't stop!

Nice! I'm building a Michalak design, and see lots of his features in action on your prams... Can't wait to get mine finished now! :-)

That was a great day.
Excellent, thanks Sean! There is a lot to be said for a good sail in good company, especially if you can do it in good boats.
Thanks, Tony. These are beautiful moments. My brother lives a 24 hr drive away. So getting both of us out sailing like this is priceless.
@@seanmccambridge Мы с братом живëм в одном городе. Но у него нет времени.
@@tooliik65 That's too bad. Do you both sail?
@@seanmccambridge я почти всегда один. За 4 навигации он со мной только 3 раза был. Здоровья вам и вашему брату!!
Right , that`s it !
I just bought the plans.
It`s all your fault !
Great videos guys , I`m on my way to doing the same.
They look like a paddle duck. But the hauls look different.
Much rounder hulls.
@@seanmccambridge cheaper than a puddle Duck? Easier to build than a puddle Duck?

@@timhudson1846 In that case, go for it. Didn’t realize you had the hull. Get sailing! 🙂
