People hated Usher being married to Tameka. The two things I kept hearing was that she was too old for Usher and she was not pretty enough to be his wife. Some people though that if Usher was going marry someone she need to look like Chili or some supermodel. Not knowing that he was really good friends with Tameka and she was his stylist for many years. He fell in love with who she was as a person. I'm glad that they are cool though. Just co- parenting. Exactly they hated the fact that she did not fit who they envisioned Usher marrying. I loved him with Chili but it did not work out, the hate Tameka got was wrong. I am glad they are able to co parent their kids after going through a rough custody battle. I could see why that happened given how her son died and then having a close call with another child but they worked things out.

Crazy thing is Chilli is waaaay older than him. I think ppl didn’t like her because she was unknown and ppl become possessive over celebrities
Wow. I’m happy that she was blunt and said it straight that the comments that hurt the most were the people who she thought would support her. I can relate to that. Hopefully people hearing that makes them think before making a negative comment instead of a supportive one.
I remember how awful people were to Tameka. Even once it was known she'd been around as a friend they still kept going. They REALLY harped on her being too old (Chili is the same age as her and even mentioned HIM being too young 😑) and the money. Then there was his mother allegedly not liking her. And so on. It was absolutely wrong how she was treated.

I think the issues with Usher’s mother is what ultimately led people to not like her. Usher and his mother were so close and when she decline to attend their wedding, people took notice of that. It also didn’t help that Usher fired his mother as his manager after they got married. Whenever someone asked Usher about that he always got so defensive it made people think that Tameka must have something to do with it.
well his mom was the problem and i think even if she and chili are about the same age chili doesn't look her age. chili was cuter harsh to say i know but that plays a part to so she suited him better.
it is always like this with celebrities if they marry someone people think aren't as attractive as the person it self.

This woman is absolutely gorgeous radiant classy can we say our black is beautiful and it don't Crack....i must weigh in on what this beautiful queen Tameka Foster said the most hate and backlash she got was from the sisters that looked like her I want to highlight this if I can because I am a regular person not famous or in the public eye I have experienced this since i was a child to now young woman it's always backlash hatred jealousy that I experience from other women of other races always but thats to be expected sadly but from my own like mostly from the sister's that look like me (black women)for no reason from the rude demeanor from the evil jealous stare downs (mean mugg )we have to do better be better band together love on each other whatever happened to waiting to exhale the movie ) type sister hood bonds amongst black women no hate jealousy no competition just pure genuine hearts let's get back to love to community to cohesiveness ladies specifically my own black sister's ❤ 💙 💜 💖 with love

Agree 100%. I am look the complete opposite of Tameka but always supported her with Usher . This woman had her own career and was far from ugly .I commend Usher for loving different types of black women ( before current ).

I’m a huge Usher fan I’m happy when these guys find love and have kids with their wife. I didn’t have a problem with Tameka and Usher as a couple and it wasn’t my business I just liked seeing Usher happy. Also Tameka is pretty.
I’m glad Tameka is doing well these days! And is it just me, or on this new season of “The Real” does it seem like the ladies are yelling over each other more and are constantly interrupting each other before a complete sentence can be made, especially Adrianne. And the studio has an echo now, which makes their conversations louder than usual. I wish the ladies and production, would please get it together soon….
I don’t think they have an audience yet which creates an echo, because the space is more open. They are louder though, but I think it’s out of excitement and it will calm down soon. I’ve noticed these last cpl of episodes A isn’t as loud lol

He was dating chilli than she slid in . She was a stylist ..... And that caused the breakup , she slept with him while he was with her my knowledge to the story......
She didn’t slide in anywhere she was his stylist and a woman or man can slide in anywhere without that or man or woman allow it. It’s obvious he was attracted to her they probably started off as friends and a relationship developed. It takes two and him and chili could have either been broken up or going through somethings and he slid in on her.

Tameka is gorgeous! His wife Grace was ugly. Even his third wife now is no where near as pretty as Tameka. Usher’s mom was oddly jealous of Tameka and the bond her son had with Tameka. The other woman his mom can control as he isn’t as connected to the other 2.
You must be a mentally strong person to deal with being the wife of a celebrity, especially of Usher's statue. You don't think Denzel Washington, Samuel L.
