Massive improvements made with slicks for no prep and back of the track with a truck over 4,000 lbs and BBC with nitrous! Now it is time for more tuning after more cubic inches and switching over to 28" small tire slicks.

Kevin this is by far one of your best videos!!! I love when you can explain through real world experiences!!
I've studied your content endlessly. Read the road, read the car , do the math ,manage the power, and swing for the fence. Your info has helped us more than you know !!!!
Excellent video Kevin, I know no prep world seems to be hush hush on info, but we are drag racers. We like to help other racers that are struggling no matter what. There are a few on here that also like to help with tips and stuff like that with no prep, @TurboJohnRacing is one of my favorites, and also have been following no prep garage( @one_bad_attitude ) a little too and a few others. I have nothing to hide, and like you said power management and tuning plays a big part in making it go down to. And yes this truck weights 4188lbs race prep.
Hi dad

Another great video Kev. Glad to hear of your recovery success too. I’m sure glad you decided to edit out the talking to you were giving. It shows that even though you were upset that your professionalism and ability to rise above it is unquestionable.
Congratulations

❤️🔥
🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what do you mean when you say slow the front end down at the 22:17?
Good question, slowing down how fast the front shocks extend is what it means when you hear "slow down the front end". Go fast, go straight! Be SAFE!
Very good video. No hard feelings to that guy I guess he was having a bad day or doesn’t earn a paycheck. We love all you guys
Yeah, sad people act that way.
I agree! Love you too, Dad!
What’s the front/rear weight bias on that truck?
More info and details on the baseline 4 link plot coming very soon in a part 2 video... 52 - 54% on the rear depending on surface... Go fast, go straight! Be SAFE!
Can I hire you to make my fbody wheelie? And when a nice wheelie has been made go and improve 60’?

@@KevinWilsonSBC Email sent, looking forward to it
So at 134 percent AS that truck was not really crushing/setting the tire very hard. When you went to less than 100 AS it was crushing the tire pretty good and probably too much on the small tire but was hooking pretty good. I have similar experiences on my bracket car in that 135 AS was pretty neutral on the tire. At 150 AS 32 inch ladder bar it separates and hits the tire good. Question: What do you think that the 4000 pound truck would do if you did do say 150/160 AS on those small tires? Wouldn’t it be planting/crushing the tire similar to squatting it? Just curious on your thoughts.
It is possible, but in my experience with this wheelbase and weight, getting the chassis happy with that much AS is extremely challenging and very inconsistent. There is not an easy way for theory sometimes to apply. Stay tuned, as I think we will have some cool data still on the way from Philip on this one. Go fast, go straight! Be SAFE!
