I got to see y'all in concert for the first time at a little church last summer. I got addicted to pornography when I was 10. I've spent more years bound to it than not, and I had to step away from my job because of it. I knew that I wasn't going to have many more second chances. Hearing Chaotic Resemblance, Spoken, and y'all at that concert gave me strength. I prayed with the members from CR after their set and it was like the eyes of God were ablaze, staring into my mind and soul, burning away everything unclean. I looked at pornography today. Multiple times. Despite knowing that my life and soul hang in the balance, despite knowing that the old things have passed away and the new things have been created, despite every fiber of my body being transformed into gold in the revelations that I see, *I continue to abuse the wounds that grace healed.* Because I know that God loves me, but it's hard to love myself. I've messed up so many times in the last 9 months, and I don't know how long it's going to take for me to see the new creation that I've become. To stop seeing myself as someone addicted to porn, or as someone who _was_ addicted to porn, but as someone who _isn't_ addicted to porn, someone who doesn't even get within 20 feet of it. One day this will be a distant memory. And I want that day to be tomorrow. But I don't know if Tomorrow-Me wants it to be that day. Your music continues to be a blessing to me, but I'm still a man in need of a savior, and I ask for prays of strength from you and anyone else reading this.

It’s horrible what these girls go through, what their made to do, how there groomed, and this is just the industry in 1st world countries. It’s a hundred times worse in poor countries. That position is reserved for a wife who loves God even more than you do, and is therefore capable of loving you in right relationship. Porn is a counterfeit poison that robs strong men of who they are and ruins them. A good action to take is getting an accountability partner and also watching something like Mark Gunger's "Laugh Your Way To A Better Marriage," even if you are single. Love you, man.

I feel like these guys really perfected and dialed into their sound around 2006. Ever since then, their guitar work and overall mixes have been consistently perfected. If anyone is interested, I’m pretty sure they have an album on Spotify from 1995 and it’s really interesting to watch them form their sound over the next few records, but I think they really hit the nail on the head around 05/06.

The only reason why these guys are so UNDERRATED is because they are not ashamed to say the name of Jesus in their songs. However, their talent is superb, their sound - guitar riffs, double pedal beats, screams have nothing to envy many great metal secular bands. God bless Disciple.

Amazing song, lyrics and visuals. This song, video, and meaning are not for the faint of heart but it holds truth. Just as Jesus spoke of denying ourselves and taking up our cross as a form of death (not physical death but dying to our old selves and worldly way of living) where we actually become alive spiritually, born again... This song is saying the same. We continually have to keep putting our old selves to death and identify as children of God, the new creations in Christ Jesus we were born to be.
