The Lord led me to revisit this song today and oh my how it was needed! I suffered a massive stroke on Nov 27th, 2023 that has left me partially paralyzed on my left side. 46 years on guitar all just went away. It was unhealthy living abd unhealthy choices that led to the stroke so I've been in the pit of self-condemnation over it, conveniently forgetting Romans 8. But thank yall for your ministry. And I thank Father God for it because it's such a powerful, loving way to get a message across. My hope has been restored, even though there's a huge battle before me. I'll get back to my guitar. I know I will. God bless yall!!!

I struggle with depression and anxiety and I tend to be my worst enemy judging myself and feeling ashamed. This is my go-to song when I'm feeling down. Today I was really struggling with the negative thoughts in my head and it really helped to hear this. Thank you Jesus and Disciple! You guys ROCK!
You should know that God loves you. He can heal your Heart. He has done the same thing with mine. I was mobbed by the other kids in school years ago. I was in depressions but God helped me out of there. And he will do the same for you. I will pray for you 🙏
Pray daily: in the car, in the shower, first thing in the morning, last thing you do before you go to bed. Read the word and dive into it. Give your heart to the Lord sincerely and be submissive to Him. Pray for discernment and for the tools to battle the demonic strongholds such as depression, anxiety, fear, and doubt. You will know these do not come from God as he did not give us a spirit of fear but a spirit of love. Praying for you my friend
God wants to help you and he will, if you want and pray in the name of Jesus! For God nothing is impossible. Let his light and the light of the Holy Spirit shine in you anywhere and anytime. God and Jesus love you unconditionally! So do I.

Just wanted to say, Disciple has always given good Christian music, where you don't have to guess if their music is really about God, you know it is... There's no doubt... I want to mention something, some bands you have to struggle over to see if they are really a Christian band, but these guys make it clear they are christians.... Their songs have remained about the same God. and, want to add something, thank you disciple for keeping the lyrics free from foul language, or anything of the sort, or anything rude, I know this may not seem like a big issue, but Just want to make that clear, God bless.

Wow, I was just saying this moments ago. There is no doubt that they love God, there's no guessing, no reading between the lines, it's plain for all to see. They are not ashamed of God, which is so uplifting. They know who they are in Christ and I'm so happy that they haven't lost their identity over the years!

I love it too. Every song they do is so refreshing and relatable. Not to mention some are even tear jerkers.
When I had hit the bottom of one of my deepest spiritual lows, this song turned my life around unlike any other song I've heard. I had messed up and consequently relapsed into depression. I began to experience self-hatred that I hadn't felt in a long, long time and started to slip into a routine of self harm. I knew that I was quickly developing an addiction, but just didn't care... If anything, I felt like I deserved it. It was at that point that this song "just happened" to show up on my facebook page. I listened and it hit me so hard... somewhere along the way, I got so caught up in trying to be "good enough" which isn't even remotely possible, that I made an identity out of my sin and minimized the incredible grace of our God! I threw away my blade as I listened to this song and haven't looked back. Thank you Disciple! Everybody, please never forget that God loves you.

By his wounds we are healed he paid the price of our sin so we didn't have to and he doesn't look at us saying we deserve death but looks on us and says I love you and paid for your mistakes you don't have to hurt yourself anymore. I took your punishment on myself it's paid for stop kicking yourself for something I already forgave you for.

It had been a while since I listened to this song, and it’s one of my favorites of theirs. I have been struggling a lot lately- with fear,anxiety and depression. I’ve also been struggling spiritually. I listened to the song and somehow it was different, I payed close attention to the lyrics and I started crying- I really need to hear that. I think I’ll finally sleep good tonight.
I'd just received Christ in 2017 and experienced a refreshed sense of self-control & joy like never before, but also had moments where the memories of my life back then would weigh me down with guilt. Strange thing, this one day - a friend I hadn't spoken to in some months put this song in my face like ''bro, you need to listen to this asap'' so I did and was in tears because I knew God was speaking to me so clearly. The guy said he was just being obedient to God. It's the Christ life until eternity for me!

about 18 years ago I played in a Christian rock band when I was 16 years old and we opened the show for these guys in Knoxville TN, The band Nailed was also playing that night and before the show our three bands came together in a circle and prayed, these guys have a huge passion for god and the message they bring to everyone and I am very proud to see them still going! it was a pleasure to share the stage with you guys!

This is honestly the most purist song if you look at it how it was written with it being God singing this too. It always knocks me on my knees because I realize in that moment that I am a sinner and that his love is greater than my sin.

I won't go into too many details here, but I'll say that I've been battling depression and even sometimes suicidal thoughts. I've been struggling to make it through some days, and I don't really have anyone to talk it through with.
Today I thought I haven't listened to disciple in forever, I'll UA-cam some songs tonight. I have never heard this song before just now and I need to say it about broke me. it was honestly exactly what I needed to hear.
Disciple thank you from the bottom of my heart. You could never know the impact your music has made on my life tonight. Not to mention all previous years I've listened to y'all. I was at your concert with seventh day slumber and decyfer down and spoken last year outside of Dallas. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen.
My point is this, you guys have inspired me and touched my life more than you will ever know. I am a songwriter myself and I hope to one day record albums that reach people like y'all do. Your music and the music of many bands like yours have literally saved my life. Thank you.

I heard this after my best friend's suicide. I felt like I really messed up, because I could have done something about it but didn't. I've dealt with a lot of guilt because of it. I know I can't go back and change anything now, but this song gets me through it because no matter how many times I screw something up, God still loves me. It took me a long time to get there and realize that.
