He also replaces equipment often if there is an issue or we've had folks donate items too. The community at Untamed really is awesome and im lucky to be part of it.
I’ve been following you for 8 years. I was one of the names you had to yell out on your 315 for 30 reps video. To see what you’ve accomplished and built yourself to is truly inspirational. It’s also awesome and unfortunately almost unheard of that you’re still the same dude you were then instead of an egotistical asshole like a lot of these other UA-cam “experts” whose channels have grown more popular. Thanks for all of the content and always remember…….TRAIN UN, eh you already know.
This is literally an Iron Paradise. I wish I can come and train in your gym someday sooner. All the very best for your future endeavors Alan. Train untamed.
I've been following you for the past maybe 4 years. It's awesome how far you've come. Love your videos, Bless up and always remember.. TRAIN ON TIME!!!
congratulations. It was year 2015-16 when I saw your channel. Now to see untamed strength grow so much both in sheer size/public reach and authenticity. All the best for future expansions !! Always remember #trainuntamed.
Alan it would be truly awesome to see a video on the financial aspect of the gym, you talked about the first few years but since the transformation has been so radical, some insight into how it got to where it is today would be fantastic. Keep it up!
wait, you guys have gyms with DL platforms?! All I got at 2 different gyms were either some old, bent, crumbled pieces of rubber, or rubber mats that i had to place xD
It's interesting knowing some of the stories behind the equipment that I have heard you mention over the years. Glad you guys are still in business despite some of the closures your state has had. Hopefully you are in business for many years to come!
Alan has been making videos since I started my lifting journey, incredible to see how much progress this channel and especially Alan has made. Favorite old vid, the 10,000 calorie diet!
I've always looked up to you as THE guy for compound lift form tutorials. You've been a big part of my lifting journey so far. I'm happy for how far you've come. Thank you for everything. Also, 14:27 😂
I've been silently following you for years, Alan, and it's been inspiring watching you grow, both as an athlete and as a businessman. If I'm ever in California, I'm coming straight over to check out this dream gym.
i was thinking along the same lines. "proud" was the first word i thought of but i also realize i have nothing to do with his success, still "proud" seems to be fitting
Wow, you've really collected some awesome pieces over the years! I wish there was a gym half as equipped as this near me. Congrats on the growth and success, Alan!
Alan: “Here’s a regular 45lbs barbell.” Also Alan: “Here is a Texas strength competition calibrated knurled extra thick ball bearing stainless steel barbell with German made iron end caps and rotating and folding perpendicular handles that have a spin ratio of 4:1, which is pretty standard for these types of bars”
Man, this is the dream. The "yard" really does seem to be where it is at. Fingers crossed for a good option to come about int the future. Love seeing all the MB Powercenter equipment. Mike puts out such high quality equipment and is one of the most genuine, kind, and hard working individuals I have ever met.
Honestly, this gym is better than 90% of gyms out there. Does not matter if you are interested in bodybuilding, strongman or powerlifting it has got all you need.
This is amazing Alan. Watching your progress as an owner, member of the community and general great person, I can whole heartedly say no one deserves this more than you. You are a perfect steward in this community and if I ever get out to Sactown, I am no doubt stopping by! Beautiful!!!
Holy Guacamole what a full house of gear. I once inspected worn railroad wheel and axle “carriages” in Sacramento, many years ago. I fantasized about being able to roll or pull a full assembled carriage down the track. It should be a strongman event, and a cool addition to your yard. I’m thinking about 50 yards of old, out of service track and a cast-off carriage donated by one of the local rail yards. Cool. Bust a gut!
Absolutely gorgeous gym. Literally my dream facility. Congratulations on the success over the years -- it's been a blast watching the channel and gym grow, and learning from you.
Can't wait till you have a world renowned gym, been with for years thrall thanks for the knowledge and information and mentorship that you've provided for me over the years.
Since I just subscribed. (I don't know why I had to sub again) I am now entitled to all your hand me down strongman equipment. It will go nice for when I open my gym in the next year.....but it all honesty it's amazing seeing how much the gym has grown. Keep up the good work
I-beams are weak in moment. Ie exactly how you attached to it. That’s why engineers are concerned… it’s designed for a vertical load central to the beam. Not a load out 4’-5’ from centerline…. That being said any engineer would be cautious until they had more detail. (Beam size, true load, designed load, local ordinances, etc etc etc)
Hate how I wasn’t able to join cause of covid , recently moved out of Sacramento and have been seeing trainers for powerlifting since but he’s the first one I’ve had and set me on this journey
It’s really amazing how far Untamed Strength has come, due in large part to your fantastic passion! Would chains be a good addition for the monkey bar setup? That way people could load up with weight before running through them.
I love how everyone looks swole out of their mind like they just got out of their winter bulk but Alan took 1st place ripped looking like he just cut for his next bodybuilding show.
This is I think what they talk about when they speak about "the american dream". I don't think this would be very possible anywhere else and really difficult to pull off even in america. Such a huuuuuge gym with everything niche and cool for people to really enjoy training like they couldn't anywhere else. Adult kid park. I'll claim that this is what people who really enjoy training with iron dream about when they're looking for a gym, not one of those commercial fitness gyms full of machines and especially full of exercise bikes and treadmills. This is also the epitome to when you do good, you get good come to you. Building this gym for people who love this stuff and see people love it so much that they just bring more useful stuff in so everybody can share the benefits. Like if you lived near this gym, you'd love to go there and what point would there be to have your own stuff at home, might as well bring it to the gym. You give and you get. At least I was. I was looking for a place like this in my area and it looked like I wasn't about to find one, only fitness clubs, until someone told me about the local "pastime center" and its small gym room. It was almost like a garage, barbells, dumbbells and racks, pullup bars, barely anything else. City held, no gym subscription, just show your public transportation pay card to the reader. And coincidentally one of the cheapest per month. Imagine that, the best for the lowest price. But a place like this would be so cool, you'd know it would be full of people into barbell training/sports, you'd for sure get good tips and ideas and stories from the gym goers.
That’s sick man Folsom dumbbells Well “REPRESA” is next to you 😉 Your gym is epic man Congratulations wish you all the success and blessings to your Family
Hey Alan, thanks for your awesome content. I have been watching you for years and getting stronger because of it. On a side note, the reson your microphone sounds so bad is because your gain is too hot. Turn down the gain and maybe raise the volume. Best regards, -Brandon
Full on compound, awesome to see.
Did you do those Car Don't Lie stickers?
@@datglasstho Yes, Alan had an ask out on IG and I thought it would be a solid dad joke.
I like how what is generally considered to be a full fledge gym for most people (aka planet fitness) is the latest extension done just this year.
I actually am excited for you my man. It's cool how far your gym has come and how great it looks. Good stuff!
I'm no entrepreneur, but Alan is an inspiring example of starting where you can and building your business up logically.

What a nice gym you have built Alan, all the tools of the trade and then some. Would love to visit sometime. I only live 45 minutes away.

Gym looks great. Awesome to see the growth over the years.
So Happy for all your success. You work so hard and are so passionate about growing and improving and you earned everything you have 😊💪
Your new extension is a whole gym in itself truly inspiring seeing Untamed Strength grow
I can’t wait to do alternating 2 1/2 pound dumbbell bicep curls while balancing one legged on a Bosu ball inside of those monster racks!

I’m jealous of that assisted Nordic curl. I recommend buying an assisted pull-up / dip machine. It is nice for guys but really essential for women.
