Team Rusted Barbells! Your training style was a big influence on gym, have floor full of sandbags, yokes, rope, rings and chalk. Body responded better in 6 months than it did with years of typical lifts.
AWESOME Home gym Brian! If anyone reading is buying gear I used the NEVERSATE code and loving the Cerberus stuff. Top notch. Picked up 2 DL belts, a sandbag, their wrist straps and the strongman shorts. Really amazing quality.
Sweet setup! Wish I had that kind of space. My garage is multipurpose (office, gym, dog kennel, storage, and man cave). But... I do have plenty of outdoor concrete space.
I got to the next level with my homegym when I bought a powerrack during the pandemic and I dont regret it. I only got a apartment, but it has enough space to add a bench, plates, axle bar, dumbbells, kettlebells, rings and a dip station. everything stored in 3x3 meters. I love it
that is a great place! thanks for the tour! i have a fairly decent home gym in a garage downstairs (9' x 20') but def not on the level of your gym! it serves me well and i dont even have to go outside to get there which is very nice during the Vermont winter!
I love using the American Cambered bar for overhead press. It a great analog for log a log press for those who want to a log press movement without buying a log.
I’m hooked on your videos, Brian. I have purchased your programs before and I recently bought your mass-builder program and I can’t wait to start it. After that I’m jumping over to the EDC and buying myself some bags. Thank you for the awesome videos!!
Great video, love hearing people talk weights , one of the things don't get to do since l train home alone. You are well stocked with everything at arms reach. Constantly walking on sloping yard may become an issue, might have to put your landscaping skills to work and create some level areas for ankle and knee survival. I used to build natural rock retaining walls for years and always appreciated how inexpensive they are when you have access to materials. Had some tear ankle issues myself that came out of nowhere and lasted about 3 weeks, scale of pain pretty high, still have no idea what caused it. Good luck.
Probably an unreasonable idea but for a home gym there is a combination reverse hyper and glute ham raise machine so that you can have both in one. but you already have the dedicated glute ham raise so i guess it's not something that would make sense.
Hi Brian, massive congrats on the Cerberus sponsorship! I've been looking to get a couple of their sandbags for a while. Being a UK viewer, I was wondering if there are any plans for the US discount to be expanded to other countries any time soon? (Before I go and drop £250 on various sized sandbags and realise I could have saved a penny or two 😅)
I made this suggestion a while back, but would you ever do a training video that includes your muay thai heavy bag?? Perhaps an mma inspired conditioning workout workout ?
@@BrianAlsruheOfficial Damn, I was just in Ripken for my son's baseball! Snagged a thick grip Ivanko Curl Bar. Good to know you're close. We will connect!
Do you think the range of motion on the t-bar is beneficial. I have the Elitefts core blaster bar attachment but not the stand, I wasn’t sure I’d actually get ROM out of it.
Brian do you stll pop by Neverstate? Apologies if theres a story im forgetting but it be great to see you training with the O.G.s again sometime! All love dude!
Yea man, it will be in this weeks training video. Unfortunately all of the OGs that you speak up had to get adult jobs and now lift there at tendon times alone
Looks like a downsized version of the old gym, it seems most of the stuff is there. However, anyone with at least one eye has noticed that the atlas stones are missing. I assume since you aren't competing at the moment that the sandbags have replaced the stones due to them being more convenient and that the guys at neversate need them more than you. Would you elaborate on the reason why you left the stones at the old gym and maybe do a video on sandbags vs stones. You did mention this prior on several videos, but I don't recall seeing a dedicated video on this topic. Given your current circumstances which implement do you find is more beneficial and a general pros and cons of both. Great video as always, keep it up Brian!
He also still trains at neversate FYI but they downsized it by 50% to one barn or something. He recently uploaded on Instagram of him training at neversate with the stones too just an FYI
Anyone know what a really good belt is for weighted pull-ups? Need to get one for my 16 nephew who needs to start adding in weight. I’ve never been able to progress that far … but want to try and help him take advantage of interest in doing so.
Hey B, love the channel, long time follower. Years ago you helped me learn to pronounce your name by saying "Alsruhe", just remember "balls-kangaroo". To return the favour I'd like to say "Cerberus" just remember "Sir-burr-us", NOT "Sarah-bus". Keep up the great work!
You are wrong sadly brother. Speciality bars can be a great way to bring up weak points or work around a person’s limitations or injuries. So MOST people who are using a speciality bar have any real need for it to make massive progress? Absolutely not. But people would rather invest in a magic bar that will be the answer than spend the time learning better technique
I know this isn't what you usually do and I'm sure I'm in the small minority, but I like and want more of these equipment walkthrough videos. Would like a dedicated video for the t-bar row. My suggestions would be 1. clean your barbells, man. There's no excuse for the horrible shape they are in. 2. Get some Ghost Strong roller j-cups. They'll change your life. 3. I would like a video on your current programming.
I’d recommend to check out The KneesOverToesGuy. He’s helped me a lot with joint, muscle, tendon/ligament problems. For both upper body and lower body.
I love seeing well equipped home gyms tailored to their owners. Bravo.
It's possibly the best thing I've done to my house.

These conversational videos are great. Thanks Brian. Looking forward to buying some new winter apparel from you soon.

One of the FEW authentic fitness channels!

This tour was nice to see! Thanks
Also, I think some rust on a well used barbell just adds a little flavor!

I love seeing gym tour videos because it helps me come up with ideas for my own garage.
You literally have everything! Only thing you’re missing is a rogue echo bike
I have a matador as well, and I never once thought about using it for pull-ups. That's like a no-duh moment.

That banded t bar row just blew my fucking mind. Love the home gym!
It is a game changer my friend, definitely check it out

that extension cord organization though!!!
Great gym, it's always nice to see what people are using, especially people who are knowledgeable and experienced like yourself.
The Neversate branch campus is looking good man
I like rusty bars.. i would even buy one if i had to, haha

Brian, we need a video on the puppers, dude.
Very good setup. I was wondering if you would make any changes or upgrades
Well damn, that's a dream gym setup right there. Enjoyed seeing it, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for checking it out!
This is what home gym heaven looks like in my opinion. Also, Assault runner is a great addition brother.
500 lb tire -its not too heavy, but its not light, whatsoever.
Keep up the good work Brian! Love your programs, love your attitude.
Thank you Brian, it’s always a pleasure watching your videos.
My next bit of equipment is gonna be a sandbag, so I can start your EDC program!!
Thanks for taking about the slack block. I was thinking in getting one for similar issues
Damn.... You put that together really fast. That battle ropes shit really carried over to your real world speed.
Thanks Awesome stream!!I had to move home gym outside to back porch..outdoor lifting here i come!!!
Heck Yes!!
Thanks Mischa

Hey Brian, have you heard of Cal Dietz and his spring ankle/ankle rocker program? It has some really great drills to strengthen the foot and the ankle

You could probably help your Achilles tendon by running and/or walking uphill Backwards. ⚠ warning ⚠ major quad pump to come to you
Did I catch a niner in there Brian🤣🤣
Got rained out jogging but it's funny you uploaded and I'm wearing your hoodie. I'll suffer beau ti (ful) ly lol
I would like some Neversate rashguards to rock when sparring. The old school Die Empty would be wicked.

thanks, nice video!
I prevent rust with a small brass brush, and a wet cloth lol

What about the piece you wanted to "steal" from Brian Shaw's home gym, was it a belt squat?
Hell yeah
I really like the vibe that brian transmite in their videos
My gym is 4 steps from the shop and 25 steps out the back door of the house…..no excuses
You need wood rings. You are awesome

Exactly. There is no extra E. It's camber not cameber. That made me happy.

Why can you lift more weight with the Rogue vs Elite FTS SSB???
It is the way the weight sits is completely different. 2 completely different bars

Would love to know the footprint of your gym bud
Brian. The hashmarks.Explain!
Anyone know the square footage?

You need less chalk with a rusty barbell.
Rusty bars and plates weigh more
Correct me if I'm out of place but I feel like if you're beginner or intermediate level, you got no business getting any specialty bars.
