Some tanks self heal and have invulnerability buffs and in the famous case of PLD ( in FF14) ( I’m a PLD main) we got self heal and it’s strong enough to solo carry a full party without a healer and we have a skill where we link up to our desired target and any and all dmg said target would’ve taken is reduced to 0 and re directed at me ( the tank) and that’s where you pop Invul buffs ez pz lmao but enough geeking out point is you won’t survive withought a tank and that’s the man wether the tank is as resilient as the PLD in FF14 with self heal and invulnerability buffs with party damage mitigation is all dependent on the man with his own money ( dmg mitigation buffs ) social proof & status ( healing ) and purpose in life ( invulnerability buffs ) . While the modern western woman went from a decent support ( healer ) to that one stupid DPS player that doesn’t follow a tanks lead we all know what to do with those players. We vote to fucking kick them out of the party and replace them with an actual support or a top tier DPS player.
