- Fixing A Hole - bass cover
Left handed guitar played righty - right handed guitar played lefty
"..as a left handed child I started to practice on a right-handed guitar of my older brother. I picked up the guitar upside down by nature so I learned to play the guitar with the strings reversed!"
Fixing A Hole - bass cover
It's true when they say Paul's bassline is never the same on a second time! Almost like he improvised the whole song
Easy, Man. The bassline was recorded by Lennon. lol
@@u.salomao9658 i think paul overdubbed john's bass playing. I think you can hear lennon's bass playing in another take
ua-cam.com/video/FtFLcL0JLTQ/v-deo.html me and the entire world@@TwiggyArmstrong
@@TwiggyArmstrong it’s actually both of them! Fixing a hole was recorded really strange. Lennon recorded the bass on the rhythm track with Paul singing. The last overdub they recorded was Paul’s bass part. It’s hard to tell but I think the 70% PM 30% JL. One of the only songs with p bass (allegedly)
@@TheEvbox oh that’s so cool. I heard the isolated bass track from the Beatles rock band and it does sound like it’s doubled (kinda has a fuzzy distorted sound in some spots). I always thought John recorded it with a jazz bass? Either way, it’s pretty cool.
Simple and yet it’s the song’s glue.❤👍🏻🙏
Excellent! Love the Pepper-era basslines
Yes, they're genius!
Great job on a very elegant bassline (often, less is truly more). And a lefty just like Macca.
Thank you!
@@NorbyHofner PERFECT tone on the Ric too.
Absolutely fantastic have a good weekend ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you!
Very well played and nice bass tone my friend!🎸
Are those strings on upside down?
Makes way more sense as well. Playing the low strings closer to your hand where your strength is; then the lighter strings on the top; where the fingers are weaker. Less pressure to get the top to fret as well as bending the strings.
@@kramnull8962 That doesn't make any sense.
Am I tripping out rn, or is that bass strung upside down?
Playing backwards AND upside down...amazing!
hmmm........a lefty bass, played left-handed, but strung righty. Interesting.
