As you know there is a honorific genocide and famine going on in Gaza right now, and as Muslim influencers in the month of Ramadan which is a month of many things, including the rejection of gluttony, I don’t think having such a thumbnail is conscientious. We need to show social solidarity to those in Gaza right now as well and we need to be showing each other by example that we won’t indulge in extravagant meals whilst our brothers and sisters are suffering from systemic starvation. This thumbnail portrays a very disconnected position from you guys and I know you guys care for Palestine. Perhaps it’s even worthwhile to talk about Palestine in your videos and to show small acts of solidarity rather than just fun and enjoyable times.
