I did it synced yesterday, finished the rest of coils unsync since duty finder wasnt finding anything. Those battles, and THIS STORY... The origin of Bahamut will stay with me as one of the most cool FF moments
The first time I did coils, I was in a party of 5 and we had 3 randoms (one of them being the off tank ahh) and we couldn't finish Twintania, took us the whole time limit. We ended up waiting a few months, I learned how to tank, and got a full party together in a call. We just beat Twintania for the first time last night, took us 3 hours. We just got to the 2nd coils turn 4 and it took us the whole time limit too and still failed. I'm so excited for us all to eventually succeed, it's a work in progress.
If they used a different track per turn, then they'd have to make the patch bigger because ofc more tracks. All bosses use the Boss 3 theme save a few, so why should coil turns get a change over these bosses?

FFXIV was my first MMO and obviously Coil was my first raid. I healed it as a WHM, I still remember how stressful but fun it was. In particular I remember T7, because as a healer I never dealt with something so difficult, we were responsible for freezing adds and healing some crazy intense damage at the time. I really miss those days, can’t wait for Arcadian Savage
Oh my god, the memories! I can just feel and hear my party and I standing outside of the boss gate formulating a strategy... Or better yet, trying to sabotage each other in T2 with all of the aoes! Back when I was a fresh i70 in full Darklight, with my brand new Relic weapon, frantically healing through my first ever raid...
TREASURE GOBLINS AND ARGUS! I find it funny they chose to use calamity unbound for their themes in the aquopolis like they knew that this song would make anyone focus when something showed up out of nowhere.
As someone who did BcoB nm and savage on release, whenever I hear this song I immediately go into ultra focused & alert mode lol. That shit was hard af pre-nerf.
I don't like the begining of the track but never really heard past the first minute or two. But doing Eureka Orthos solo and taking a while to do the bosses, I finally just heard the part at 2:35 and GOD THAT WENT OFF
Know your feel. But that shouldn't be a problem if you take your time and learn stuff. Just lookt it up in some wikis or forums. Or ask members of your FC who are playing the game for a longer time now. I always do that, because i hate it to be responsible for a wipe xD
Just let your team know you're new and have no idea what you're doing. The FFXIVARR community is typically really friendly. They'll tell you what to do.
This plays during the level 70 Bard quest fight. Almost every job gets a different theme for their 70 boss fight, except for Monk and Ninja from what I saw.
+Tolvan Osc'a'dragil Yeah, it'd be nice if there was some sort of Roulette for the older content (both Coil and Crystal Tower). It would be a nice way to reignite some interest without forcing the people who don't want to do it to do it.
+Mekkah Dee I would doubt people would be willing to queue for a coil roulette. Being a roulette, one would need to have cleared the entirety to be eligible and would be synced down to 50/i130. Not to mention the various mechanics you can't reasonably expect someone to grasp in one lockout, several of which could easily wipe the raid. The incentives for such a thing would need to be ridiculous to make people want to try.
Even if you did, nowadays it is a shell of what it once was with unsyncing the fights. Also second coil (T9 excluded) was nerfed in to the ground when the lockout was lifted. So unless you want the story aspect (can't blame you there, it is awesome) you won't get the full effect.
I think it's just a case of similar motifs. If we're thinking of the same part, it's just the motif for the binding coils, pretty prominent in spiral and primal timbre.
To be fair, it's used for ADS, the trash elevator from hell, a big ochu, a Gorgon, a four armed thing that can't move, a big coeurl, and a metal hydra in addition to the snake.
2:14 (Tius Reveral) I just got ilvl 70 so I'm queuing for coil and CT for gear xD Jesus christ, CT is a shitshow _now_ at times, I'd hate to see what it woulda been like to actually have to do mechanics in every fight at min ilvl. And 300 BASE ping. Edit: formatting and words

I adore when that happens, I rarely tell people that I'm recording unless they sort of recognise my name beforehand so I catch people randomly in the duty finder. Also, no matter what, I always look back at these videos and think how much better I am now.. I wasn't bad before, I'm just far more experienced at my class and the encounters than before. This is the most difficult FF game not because of its... Difficulty, but because it's an MMO, which require you to do these big raids with other people, and there's always gonna be one screw up in the party that results in a total wipe (I'm looking at you Rafflesia). I don't hate this game, in fact, I love it, just that some endgame stuff can be tedious, rightfully so of course :)
gamerfeen123 doesn't matter how much content is added you still have to grind those boring as hell dungeons to reach the "GOOD PART" wich i highly doubt its good.
