R1M. Reliability is one of the key points for me. Yamaha’s go forever. Ducati’s take a LOT of maintenance which is super expensive and Yamaha’s last forever… I’ve seen 120,000kms on one and commonly 90,000kms+. Means you can buy one now and enjoy it forever. R1M all the way! Those taking about brakes have never ridden it on the track. Add race pads and carbon Ducting ($200) and it’s awesome! You won’t have any brake fade.
Ducati's after 2004 are extremely reliable. I've had a yamaha and had some pretty funny damages, like the lcd dash plastic deform (melt) from the summer sun... Ducati's are bulletproof if properly maintained. The V4 engine is actually derived from the 2015 motogp engine and their spare parts are TOP of the line. Ohlins, brembo, bosch, magnesium frames etc. If you can afford it , you go Ducati. Also even though most people wont use theit ducati as a daily because they are ezpensive, a lot of people do. I ve seen ducatis with 120.000 kms that haven't faced any issues at all apart from the expected wear and tear.

Why can’t the V4 win a championship. Yamaha beats that ass everywhere. MotoGP, WSB, AMA SB! Ducati is Yamaha, Kawi and Suzuki’s bitch! And all them bikes cost way less!
