- For those interested in the Dirtywave M8. I'm sharing this Twitch highlight where I created a track from scratch on the M8. I'm a little rusty with the M8 after not using it for a while, so there's no advanced stuff going on here, just the basics. Project file linked below, which includes my ambient loop. It's nothing special, but I think some will find it interesting.

The M8 is one of my favorite things. You brought your ambient game as usual.
Reminds me of the old tracker days on DOS/Windows in the 1990s. Ever come across a Finnish tracker composer who went by the moniker 'Elwood'? Incredible stuff, music worth hunting down.
I don't know of him, but I was never into the tracking scene at all. I got into trackers first through my eurorack NerdSeq module, then onto the Dirtywave M8

Wow, those sounds are huge! Now, I realize that physical size has nothing to do with the audio output (I design synths... :D ) but it never ceases to amaze me when I hear something like this, coming out of a tiny device. I've owned a lot of tiny devices that sound incredible, but the M8 really seems to have a nice sound. The samples and synth sounds I've heard out of it have all been quite impressive. I just made a trade for one, so I can't wait to get my hands on it. :)
The M8 is a really powerful little tracker. The stereo sample streaming even leaves Elektron and Polyend in the dust!
