I am so glad to hear you enjoyed it! It's always nice to hear someone likes the recipe. Hopefully I start filming soon again and posting more recipes. Until then I hope you have a happy holiday!
To get these to be more high and fluffy, whisk dry ingredients in bowl and toss in blueberries. Mix all wet ingredients together, make a well in dry ingredients and add the wet ingredients and just gently mix so as not to kill the raising agents ability. Adding the blueberries to the dry ingredients helps them to not just all fall to the bottom. Enjoy!!🙂
That looks good and I bet they're moist. I like how my bakery used to put like a dollop of cream cheese pudding or vanilla pudding on the top and they put that streusel mix. They don't do that anymore but I'm going to try that with your recipe🎉 and see what happens
I made the muffins, but I didn't have plain yogurt, so I used my light and fit cherry flavored yogurt. The muffins were delicious!!! Only thing is that the video says that it makes 6 muffins and I followed the recipe and it clearly made 12 large muffins. Nice surprise.
I am glad you enjoyed them! Yeah I should definitely clarify it makes 12 muffins 🤗 I could only make 6 at the time because that was the only muffin tray I had. I will add that in the description now 😊🥰 Thank you so much for your lovely comment :)
Yummers 😋😋😋 ,i just try this this morning perfect partner of.our coffee Starbucks too, thnks for sharing Godbless,& happy new year.watching here in Canada 🇨🇦.
Awwweee, I am so glad you enjoyed it! You are too sweet! I hope you are having a lovely New Year as well, filled with happy memories, love, family and friends. God bless 🙌 ❤
I have never made better looking and more delicious muffins! I've been baking them for years but this recipe got me on my knees! Thank you sooo much. I'm in love
This was such a simple yet yummy recipe, thanks so much! Very soft and moist muffin. I haven’t had a blueberry muffin from Starbucks in quite some time but I’m pretty sure those are sweeter (probably 2 cups of sugar) but I found these to be the perfect amount of sweetness with the 1 cup of sugar, especially with the crumb on top. This recipe is def a keeper!
@@simplyyummy4178 btw in case anyone ends up asking: I didn't have canola oil so I used vegetable oil and I didn't have fresh blueberries so I used frozen blueberries that tbh have been sitting in my freezer for months and it still came out great
Honestly speaking, I have never used olive oil in baking. I would assume you cannot use olive oil in muffin due to its strong taste. Some good substitute for canola oil are grapeseed oil, sunflower oil or vegetable oil on a one to one basis, because they all have a neutral flavor. I hope that helps 🙂
I was missing my blueberry muffin + Cappuccino Time at starbucks during lockdown 😕 - now I try do make them myself at home☺️ thanks for sharing the tutorial 🧡
You can, however it has a very strong taste so it will taste different than Starbucks legendary blueberry muffin. I find the best substitute of canola oil is vegetable oil.
Hahahaa I got 6 muffins and I made a mini cake with the rest of the recipe mixture. At that time, I only had one muffin tray and couldn't show how much it actually made unfortunately 🫠 I will edit the description box to make sure everyone knows it makes 12 muffins 🫠 BTW I am curious, how did the recipe turn out with the substituted ingredients? I love the sweet and sour idea!! I hope you enjoyed them 😊
Hey 👋 I am sooo sorry for the late reply. It's honestly not like me. Yes you can use corn oil. I hope you made it and enjoyed them. If not, feel free to use corn oil, it will not alter the taste. Thank you for watching 😊
Yes I preheat the oven to 375°F and then place them in for 18-20 minutes. Make sure to do the wooden stick test to ensure its baked completely. I hope you enjoy them ❤️ I heard a lot of great reviews from this recipe :)
I used salted butter. If you use unsalted butter, just remember to add a pinch of salt to the recipe to balance the sweetness of the sugar. Hope that helps dear :)
It makes close to 12 medium sized muffins. I only had one muffin tray at that time so I only showed the 6. The recipe should be enough for 12 though. Hope that helped, and thank you for watching :)
That is so strange! Did you put to much butter? 1 stick of butter converts to 1/2 cup. That's the only thing I could think of that could go wrong. Please let me know if the conversion was the issue, because otherwise I don't know what happened 🤔
The topping definitely does make it more sweet 😂😅 I have a huge sweet tooth though so that's my favorite part 🙃 I have made this recipe without the topping as well, and it's still a home cooked favorite. I hope you enjoyed the muffin itself though. Thanks for watching 😊
Found this recipe from your blog. Written recipe said to sub buttermilk for yogurt but the video mentions nothing at all about buttermilk (neither does the written one) and sadly I am terrible baker (as it was only because of my daughter I started this venture in the first place) so we just had to make a guess on how much to use. While doing video recipes are fun, having something written to follow along is even better. We ended up using too much buttermilk so it colored the taste a lot but she was happy and that’s all that matters. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I am glad you had a fun time with your daughter 🥰 Cooking is supposed to be fun, sometimes it doesn't go as planned and that's okay. I started cooking after I got married, and I can't tell you how many mistakes I made until I perfected certain recipes. My favorite thing that a cook one time told me was, "If you could read, you could cook," and it stuck with me. Keep trying hun. I think you're a great cook, just keep at it and maybe you will be making cooking videos of your own (hopefully better filmed than me lol). Thank you for your comment, I love interacting with my viewers. Happy holidays! 😊
1 stick of butter = 1/2 a cup of butter. I think the conversion must have been off when you were making it. Please let me know if that was the issue. Thank you so much for trying my recipe, and I hope that solved it. Have a great day hun :)
I don't know what I'm doing wrong 1/3 sugar 1 cup flower 1/3 cup of butter it just does not have the same texture as yours mine just becomes almost like a peanut butter consistency
For the topping it is: 1 cup all-purpose flour 2/3 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup salted butter-melted 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional) The measurements were off, that's why. The recipe is in the description. I hope this helps :)
Muffins came out amazing I must have messed the measurements up! Found an easy solution tho 1/2 cup flower 1/2 cup sugar and I sliced up butter into cubes and put them in cold, mixed it with hands and looked just like yours great recipe! thank you❤️
I don't think Starbucks has the best of anything I think they tell you that and you believe it because I went and bought some Starbucks stuff a lemon thing and some blueberry muffins and I matched them to something that my friend made and then I made something and we fed them to people and nobody took up the Starbucks ones because it just wasn't that good So I think whoever needs to have something made by Starbucks just needs to show off that it's Starbucks cuz they're Starbucks aren't really that great I like the coffee though
Oh no! Honestly, this is the first time I have heard something like this happen with this recipe. Are you sure you're using the correct recipe measurements? That's the only thing I could think of going wrong. If you find out what happened please let me know, I am currious 🤔 I hope you find out what happened soon.

@@Lisaand11 Hello, was wondering did you use olive oil? how much, if you had to guess, it affects the recipe when using it instead of canola oil.

Yes finally!! Starbucks is so expensive when you go regularly.
It is!!! I used to loose so much money to them 😅 I am glad you found it useful :)
Can i use peanut oil instead of canola oil … thank you for a great muffin recipe
You can, however it has a very strong taste so it will taste different than Starbucks legendary blueberry muffin. I find the best substitute of canola oil is vegetable oil.
I do not know how you just got 6 muffins out of this recipe, I got 12, and i used sour cream instead of yogurt and added the zest of 1 lemon.

Is it possible to use avocado oil instead of canola oil?
It can be used however it will cause a slightly different taste. It van be substituted for canola oil at a one to one ratio. Hope that helps :)
Is it possible to put less sugar like 1/2 cup or 3/4?
Yes it is :) I would love to hear how it turned out
Is the butter unsalted ?
I used salted butter. If you use unsalted butter, just remember to add a pinch of salt to the recipe to balance the sweetness of the sugar. Hope that helps dear :)

How big is your cup ? 200 gr or 300 gr ?
1 cup is 236mL. Is that what you're asking about hun? If not please clarify, and I will be happy to help 😊
These were good but way too sweet for me. I will leave the topping off next time i make them
