Super nice explain ation
Good one ☝️
Thanks ✌️
Thanks!
Good job 👍🏻
Thank you!
Thanks, this was really helpful. Also, any idea how we can seal sound leakage from the gap at the bottom of a room door. I know there are sound proofing tapes available that stick to the insides of door frames on both sides and top. Not sure how to cover the bottom gap if the door frame is only 3 side (both sides and top). Hope I was able to explain it properly. 🙏
Glad it helped. You made yourself quite clear☺️ For the door bottom you need PVC / foam strips that slide under the bottom rail of the door, and seal inside and outside it. Or there's a more rigid strip that has to be screwed to the inside.
@@elLiven Thanks a lot for your inputs. :) Will search for the PVC foam strips.
U have explained very well.
I have my bedroom wardrobe wooden sliding door due to gap in 2 doors cockroach n dust is entering. Clothes r not safe. Plz suggest solution
Thank you! Sealing tape might not help. Check the doors with a carpenter and get the pest control people
Lovely informative video, any dea where can i get this from? your previous amazon link shows page not found.
Hey, thanks! I guess the vendors keep changing. Search for "sliding window sealing strip", to get a current choice

The music at the end gives a DD metro vibes
Thanks for watching until the end. Haven't done DD metro for a long time! That's Stradivari Garage Band by Anttis instrumentals. Link in the description
Best music
Thanks. Does it help in preventing or cancelling noise COMPLETELY from outside?
Not completely prevent outside noise, but will reduce it significantly.
@@elLiven thanks
How to seal the openings at top & bottom of the interlocking of aluminum frames,so as to stop mosquitos? If my query isn't clear, ask me to reframe.
Thanks.
Make a small slit in the sealing tape at the ends where it overlaps the top and bottom frames. This will close any gaps that may be left.
kindly provide the link for rubber strips for rain protection sir ....also I'm not sure if these will prevent rain from seeping through between the doors as the sliding channel below gets filled during overwhelming rainfall days.... although rare it would be great if you could share a solution....i was considering using some kind of a shape shifting blob right where the centre of sliding doors meet when closed....
Hi Maddy, search for 'sliding window seal tape'. No, this won't prevent rain collecting in the channels. For that, drill a small hole from the outside at the bottom level of the channel, rain water will drain and the channel remains functional. Have fun!
Thankyou sir 🙏@@elLiven
Weldone what you call that seal.
Thanks, its a window sealing strip.
Whats the name of tape you used for sealing window?
Use any 'sliding window sealing tape'. I used a 3M product marketed by a local brand.
I have a question does the tape fall off after its been like 2 3 months ??? Does the tape lose its stickeyness??
About 4 yrs now. So ... Take normal care when sticking the tape, press out air bubbles, don't shift the stuck tape
Wherr to apply it if one side frame is fixed n only one is movable
Apply on fixed frame
Where can i buy this 3 m tape from?
Check Amazon
Where to buy this product? Thanks!
Amazon, I guess. Search for 'sliding window sealing tape' .
Can we also apply these strips at sliding doors bottom to prevent rain water coming in during heavy rainfall
No, not for the bottom of the door. For that specifically there are rigid rubber strips which would be more effective and last longer.
Hello, what is the exact name of that sealing tape?
Just search for sliding window sealing tape. The same brand is no longer available
@@elLiven awesome thank you!!! After alot of searching I found the exact product it's made by 3M and I have black windows so I got it in a black version.
What is this tape called
Window sealing strip, that's what this tape is called.
Where can we get this tape ???
Search for 'sliding window sealing tape'
@@elLiven thanks
Can you please help with accurate link for this product on amazon?
Hi Rajan, this is what I used www.amazon.in/gp/product/B082LXJNKG/ . Thanks for watching. Please subscribe 🔔
My window makes a whistling noise when it is windy. And i can feel the are moving. I blame it for why my room goes from 74 to 80 in just an hour when i turn off the AC.
Yes, likely to be a leak
How to fix this?
I have a whistling noise too on the window sliding door in my living room
@@alfredkho6985 Sounds like a leak. In that case a sealing strip should work.
@@elLiven thanks! I will give it a try
Apu from Simpson. Hellooo body!!!
Hello 😊
What is the point of the video if you don't tell us the name of the product??
Just search for 'sliding window sealing tape'. The video is for how to seal sliding windows on your own.
Searching for this product seems impossible. Is there a reason why you have not mentioned the name of it in any of the comments? So secretive?
Thanks!
Welcome!
