For anybody having issues with the text actually following/sticking to your objects, make sure that when you open the track motion window you enable the "Sync Cursor" option by clicking the button on the bottom left of the track motion window. It's right next to the blue arrows for keyframing.

Tip: You only need a few keyframes(The diamond below the perspective) for a straight pan. Doing a lot of keyframes for just one movement will most likely shake your text a shit load because of human error.
When multiple movements occur, you need a lot of keyframes because when you get lazy and put in only a few keyframes, your text will mess up between "the text not reacting to tiny movements" and "the text temporarily falling off your target."
Tip: When extremely fast movements occur, it's best to keyframe each FRAME of the video while the fast movement is occuring. The arrow keys themselves don't move by one frame; They move by around 3 frames. Use Alt+Arrow Key to move frame by frame.
Of course, a 60 fps video should be high quality enough that you might not need to do this for some fast movements.

Jesus Christ Guys help a guy out instead of commenting random stuff. If anyone still cares basically you have to enable 3D Source alpha. To do this go to the three bars on the left of your video track and click on it. Then click on edit visible button set, and enable everything. After that, a button that says "3D" will appear beside the level bar and you have to click on it and enable 3D Source alpha. Then go back to track motion and you'll get the same display as him.
