In my opinion these were the best looking (body style)4 Runners Toyota built.

Yes I have my 1997 380,000 and I will never give it up. I will pay more to fix it than buy another car. Best truck. Has been with me through thick and thin.

Throttle control works wonders. If you can't do it crawling you probably doing something wrong. Sure there are times when you need throttle, but most times smooth throttle control and proper wheel placing goes a lot further. Looks like fun. Hope you didn't wreck anything though.

@H1TM4NH4RT no we do not at this time, we have not looked into shipping at this time, and so far all of the racks have been custom one-offs. but cost starts at $350 and goes up from there depending on what you want ect.

4runners are great, and they do have a reputation for toughness, but without the rear difflock option, they really aren't worth much offroad.

@H1TM4NH4RT its a custom basket that i build and sell, that one was a prototype and not in production, i have sense sold that to a friend and build others. im running a half rack now, and i like it much better

Lol "turn uhh uhh the other way" as he turns his body to figure it out. Nice wheelin. Im picking up a 99 4runner. And not gunna go all out like i did with my first truck. Ill probably just do a leveling kit.

Trail Gear has a pretty good selection of lift kits. Also you can just google your make, model and year and you'll get a lot of offers.

@taitai907 some did yes, it was a factory option for 1996-2001 4runners. mine was not graced with this option. but i know have an ARB in the rear and will be putting a truetrac up front when i regear

watch part too... i started off gentle and the steeper it got and slipperier it got meant more throttle was needed... check out part 2... nothing got too banged up.
