Yup , that was mindblowing when it came out , I was 20 when I first time played , but i remember that I was so exited ... I show it to my mom (I was still living in her home) , Far Cry was 10/10 for me , but Far Cry 2 was like 6/10 I did not finnish it , Far Cry 3 10/10 , Far Cry Blood Dragon 7/10 I did not finnish it , Far Cry 4 9/10 , Far Cry Primal 0/10 I had technical issues with that crap -_- , Far Cry 5 I did not played , but I have in my plans , New Dawn from rewiews I was , I wont play it , and Far Cry 6 ... I saw Mighty Jingles playthrue 100% I wont play it , is just stupid .
the first Far Cry has such a special place in my heart, I remember playing it, with my friends in computer club, now everybody has families, and doesn't play games no more, ehh nostalgia.
@@amirhb7531 me too bro now i got a rx6600,i had my 730 back in 2018 playing games like Fortnite,FC3,roblox and since 2021 i got a brand new pc with a gtx1660 now I changed to a rx6600 in September 2022 and let me tell you i never thought I would buy a gpu so powerful im full of happy rn
its really fun to see this, i got injured a while back and couldnt go to work or do anything else and was stuck home for 2 months, i literally played through every FarCry Title in that period of time, (FarCry 1,2,3,4, Primal, New Dawn, 5 and 6) Edit: my favorite Farcry is Primal, played through it 4 times with 100% completion on everything
Far Cry 4 is peak far cry. It turned up Far Cry 3 by 10 times. The game was of course gorgeous with huge draw distance and dynamic vegetation and some of the best fire propagation. Volumetric fog and god rays look gorgeous. To top it all, the gameplay/combat mechanics was nuts.
Very nice test. I love all these games. I played Far Cry 3 on i5 2300 8GB DDR3 GTX 750 1GB in 900p with high settings and Far Cry 4 and Primal on i7 4770 16 GB GTX 1650 in 1080p on very high setting. Every game ran at 50-70 fps.
Far cry 3 is legit my fav game of all time too, that game was just wayyyyy too good for the time it came out. Absolutely jaw-dropping game! Gave me fear of ocean in real life tho hahaha damn those sharks 😅☠️
I'm still waiting for more videos from u . There is extreme demand for u bro . U are awesome I've been watching u for the last year I think
Hello Kryzzp i've been watching you since the lockdown because of covid and at this this time the gtx 1650 was released and it was my dream gpu i've been watching your 1650 benchmarks and finally i was able to buy one and i cant tell how im happy im extremely happy (1650 looks like a beast compared to my gt 710)

Best thing about the first far cry is that starting level with the tropical island and that amazing looking water, almost 20 years alter and it still looks fantastic.
Far Cry 1 was ground breaking in graphics department! It was a nice warm up for Crysis. The bugs in FC2 appear if your framerate is to high. Btw have you seen the Digital Foundry Retro videos on this series?
I love far cry 2. sadly as you noticed, the game starts to break at high refresh rates. Npc's bouncing and actions unable to happen. you have to lock it to 60 if you want to actually beat it.
@@zWORMzGaming yeah, the animations start to behave improperly once you reach 90+ FPS (pretty weird cap if you ask me) but on Nexus Mods you should be able to find a fix for that

It seems my boy is finally starting to show it's age. Money well spent on this GPU, I'm so happy my previous one died so I could by this one. I have it paired with i5 3570k and they pull games very well
Great content Kryzzp !!😀 What a nice thinking to benchmark series of games. Especially for older GPUs ,it will show how good they can "handle" the passage of time as they move from past towards present !!
Awesome video. I would say my favorite Far Cry story wise is Far Cry 4 with Far Cry 3 being close and Far Cry 5 being a close 3rd. Far Cry 5 has the awesome arcade mode with user created maps. I am a huge fan of series BUT I played around an hour of Far Cry 6 and never went back to it, the story was just m'eh.
me too 5 is probably my fav but 3 and 4 are extremely good. 6 didnt do it for me it was 4 out 10 for me . I only played the story for about 2 hrs at max then deleted it
We can easily say that as the time passing, graphic quality has been developd in the games namely since graphic quality has been progressed, this situation forces the graphic cards in terms of performance.
Hah, this was great! Currently re-playing FC6 for a second time. Thinking about playing FC5 for the second time too. that little 1050 Ti puts up respectable results! Would like to see you re-do this test on the RX480/580 8GB.
I love your content, been watching since 2019. Never had a pc myself, but love watching your videos. Your way of making videos and reviewing graphics cards are funny and informative at the same time.
Even my 750ti runs far cry 6 well with low and fsr balanced/quality. ThIs shows how FSR can literelly save older cards and should be a reason enough to be added into new upcoming games for gamers that are still using 2gb and 4gb cards.
Wow I remember playing far cry 3 back then on my ps3 in the living room. Actually like a month or two ago I replayed it on my ps4 pro, as it is free in ps plus extra and the comparison between pc and ps4 pro is hilarious, I mean it has never gotten an 60fps update except for the ps5 and in my opinion the graphics don’t look near as good as on pc.
I got back into PC gaming with Far Cry 5 on a 1050ti stuck in an old office desktop (didn't want to invest much with a newborn to look after). I got so much value out of that card.
I have played all, including the Lost on Mars DLC. I think the biggest jump in visual quality was Far Cry 2. Far Cry 1 was maybe one of the first real open world games with such sprawling terrain. But it looked too cartoony. Far Cry 3 is a real gem of a game. But I was not as much blown away by the graphics. Still, a solid second place in my book in terms of graphical upgrade.
The way to pass Far Cry 2 first mission is to escape the town, if you stay in town, npc's will kill you whatever you do. When you reach the bridge you'll faint because of malaria and that's when the story starts
My first and only Far Cry Game I played really much was 5, back then on PS4 with Friends it was so much fun! Then I played it on my first PC again with the 1050 Ti and got such an blast on how much better it looked even on Normal Settings... and having more than 30 FPS ofcourse XD Then as I upgraded to an 3060 12GB I tried it again and on Ultra with HD Textures it still looks nice till today! But Last year I bought Far Cry 6, only played it 2 Hours and never touched it again. For Some Reason I didn´t have the urge to play it further, maybe I have to try it again. Absolutely need to try the old ones, but for me Far Cry 5 will always have a nice place in my heart :) The 1050 Ti and the 1650 may be the best cards to play the older Far Cry games from 4 and below, because of their low Power Usage! But I recommend to mod the first 2 into DXVK, usually so old Games run not so good on newer Hardware and it improves Performance and get´s rid of Stuttering issues :) I really enjoyed the Video and maybe you could do the same with the GTA Franchise? I´m curious on how the latest GPU´s run the old GTA´s, especially the mighty GTA 4 xD Have a nice Sunday everyone!
I really want to get the Asus Phoenix model of the 1050 ti It's really low profile and doesn't require any power connectors so you can put it in basically any pc. Still a really capable card, only real downside is Vram limitations!
