Tulare Lake Flyover Next! Stay Tuned...!
@@silasmarner7586 poppies!
It would moderate the climate like the old days if that lake came back.
@@silasmarner7586 A lot of it would be black mustard for the invasive side. Lots of
native goldfields though too
@@silasmarner7586 Goldfields probably. Poppies are more orange.
Lupine, goldfield and poppy. Now I know what to do this weekend.
It's nice to see you taking time to stop and smell the roses. Thanks for bringing us along.
Glad to hear you Spazzed out, on the tunez, Juan.!
Yellow color "Coast Fiddelneck" member of the Borage Family. Blue Color "Texas Bluebonnet" or Lupin. Purple color "Indian Paintbrush" Orange color "California Poppy" Thanks Juan for bringing some beauty and quality to us for a few transcendent moments when words don't.
Thanks a lot for sharing this, brilliant, missing California a lot! Cheers 👍🌞
Every time I want to just pack up and leave California, I drive around and marvel at its beauty and realize that I'll never leave. It remains the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Great video, Juan.
I have to agree Owe Jay. I haven't lived in CA for over thirty years but it is stunning. Our last trip was to Petaluma and along the Russian River to the coast. I just said to my wife while watching this, "this is why some people will never leave CA, you know one day the unbelievable beauty will just pop up and you have to be there to see it as it does not last long." I have seen the raging rivers and the desert in bloom as a visitor. I consider myself extremely lucky to have experienced that level of natural beauty.
Visit the Smoky Mountains. The first touristy thing I saw leaving California.
Kalifornia has been ruined. Like Oregon and WA State. And yes I spell it with a “K”. Makes all the commies there more comfortable.
Agree 100. I look at as my job to try to save this state for my grandkids. Born and raised here.
Some of us didn’t have a choice. Prop 13 is a disaster and it’s only getting worse the longer time goes on.
Wow!. Thanks for the tour.
Thanks!
Thanks Munchkin!
Turns out that plants like water!
Makes for beautiful scenery ♥️🌷
Spent a weekend in West Wendover, Nv. Good gentle rain Friday afternoon. By Sunday morning the Great Salt desert was showing off it colors. Lovely, lovely, lovely 🌺
A great man. Doing what he loves.
In his element.
No words.
No reports.
No accidents.
The silence speaks volumes!
Thanks Juan for this great video showing us just how much you love to fly!💕🇨🇦
Years ago when I was in the USMC in 29 Palms we had a few weeks of wet weather, the Joshua Tree national forest went into a super bloom, which was an amazing event, cactuses of all types were blooming, and fields of white and yellow flowers everywhere.
I don't know if its equal to what you saw but right now everything is blooming like crazy in the JT area. Fields of yellow flowers everywhere.
@@williambarry8015 It was back in 1991 and I was shooting film, I shot over 30 rolls in a few days. it is a joy to behold! and expensive to get the film developed.
Thanks for the “fly along” Juan! Nice sound track to go along with beautiful scenery!

From shoveling snow to a Sydney beach to miles of wildflowers - many thanks Juan for sharing your amazing last few weeks!
Wow, flown over the NW and California for 50 years and never seen anything like it! I would say that Northern California in many ways is one of the most special places in the world, not just for geography but history, climate and the quality of life it offered when I was growing up. An average person who worked hard could afford a nice home, ranch, an airplane and could afford to enjoy it. Fresh food, clean air, water. little crime and a lot of good, honest people. I always hoped to be able to enjoy that dream, at least I can still enjoy the dream and admire those like Juan who share it with us.
Thanks Juan!
Thanks Juan! Spectacularly beautiful!
Great footage Juan! Thanks for heading all the way down there to bring us these amazing shots. Truly gorgeous.
Great journey. Thank you.
In the early part of 1964 an unusual heavy rain occurred that soaked the area east of the range that was east of San Diego. We took a drive through that area and noticed millions of tiny flowers in areas that were normally quite dry. It was not as dramatic as the aerial view you showed here, but is was noteworthy. The desert can be an interesting place. Well done, Juan.
Thanks for the fantastic view from above. You're Juan in a million. 😄
Haha Thanks Juan...Here in Western NY last weekend it was in the 80's...by Tuesday this week it was snowing...yup it's Spring in NY. Life is great isn't it!

How beautiful! What a world! Thank you once again.
I worked on the first large solar farm in California City from late 2010 to the fall of 2013. Never saw a bloom like that. We got dust storms from Soda lake that were so bad we had to shut down the Job. Thanks for the video Juan.
Wonderful video. The sights and sounds (music) were beautiful. A bird's eye view

Something you can only truly appreciate from an airplane! Thanks so much for sharing!
Beautiful video, Juan! Thanks for sharing California with a Cali native living overseas. And I'm amazed at how tiny that runway was at the end. Nice landing.
Thank you SO much for getting out to capture this spectacular site from above for us. Mother Nature's breathtaking beauty!
Thanks for filming and editing this video of your Carrizo trip with the beautiful flowers and geology
Beautiful, Juan! Thanks for letting us be your ballast. The music was good too, very appropriate, IMO.
Shared with my mom, who loves plants AND geology... I think she's read 'Assembling California' 4 times. Marvelous views, thanks from both of us, Juan!
I don't think I have ever read a bad book by John McPhee.
Has your mom ever had a look at Nick Zentner's geology videos from Central Washington University? They are Washington-centric, but he, as a professor of geology, does a great job of introducing and expanding on all things geological to be found there...and that's a lot. During the pandemic, when the university was closed, he did 5 videos a week from his back yard for a semester, then cut it down to 3 per week. He has let us (UA-cam watchers) sit in on his classes and field trips, and has put together some great A to Z series (26 videos over 13 weeks), on such topics as exotic terrains and the Baja-British Columbia puzzle.
You really have a talent for enjoying and sharing all the best this planet has !! THANKS
Thank You!
Great stuff Juan. Thank you for the ride along. Beautiful.
Was lucky enough to fly over the area last Monday. What a year it's been!
Only one thing to say: WOW!! I am going to paint that!!
Incredible video. It's been many years since I have flown In Northern California.
With water, the desert blooms. Beautiful. Thanks Juan, can't wait for the next one.
Thanks, Juan! I enjoy and appreciate all of your videos...but, I really loved this one!
very nice JB! Lovely and poetic.
Thanks Juan!!!
Sharing what you see in the air is great! Especially this super bloom year.
Nice choice of music, too.
Stunning and perfect music choice too!
Nothing like take off and landings on a dirt strip. Brings back good memories
A BIG thank you for another very enjoyable glimpse of 'over there' JB. Oh for such empty spaces... These are much appreciated this side and bring a little light relief from our cold grey drizzle.. Talking of which, the shot of you leaving the office tells me you found that bush first! Long may you enjoy your life 'Happy Man'...
That was great, Jaun‼️So good to see the land flush with water and colour‼️😁. Thanks 🙏
Thanks Juan! While so many actively work to turn California into a cesspool, you work so very very hard to show its many diverse beauties. Keep up the great work!
They best seat in the house ! Absolutely beautiful. Thank you Juan for bringing us along on your adventures
Gosh Juan!! Simply beautiful colors that Mother Nature is displaying. Thanks for sharing it with us. Loved the music, too!! 👍
What a beautiful state. I lived there for 45 years, but finally had to leave. Fortunately, we've gotten enough rain here in Central Texas to get some very nice wildflowers this spring, too. But I do miss the poppies.
Thank you for taking the time to show bud all this amazing time in California. I have beeen driving all through Bay Area and Northern California and it’s the most beautiful it has been for a long time!
A rainy winter makes for a beautiful CA spring and a fuel heavy fire season.
OMG Juan makes me pine away for the days flying my 7GCBC Citabria with the doors off over Lake Champlain, Vermont & northern New England. NICE!!!
Extremely enjoyable!!
Spectacular views Captain. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful JB. Thanks for your time in taking us on this flight.
Looked like the "reflection" of the Husky on the ground.
Take care and fly safe. 🖖🏼🤟🏼
Thanks so much! Was hoping for some Super Bloom footage…here’s some gas money.
Very cool. Always Spent Easter in North Edwards Ca haven’t seen flowers like this year in a long time.
So nice! Thanks Juan!
