- Come see where my airplane lives and where I spend a LOT of my time. When I first bought this hangar, it was completely unfinished. I had so much help from friends and family hanging plywood and painting, etc., and I'm so excited to share the space with you!
This is my first ever UA-cam video and I admittedly filmed this about a month ago - I had no idea how involved creating a UA-cam video would be. Bear with me as I learn to navigate the world of video editing. Hope to have you along on future adventures with me and 63C!
Huge shoutout to my friend James at www.mfxstudio.... for helping me edit and creating the coolest logo animation.

Great editing! Vermont is so damn beautiful. I look forward to some flying videos around the NE :)
Really cool idea on using the old panel for pictures!
Thanks! Can't wait to fill it with more photos!
This was a very well made video congratulations! Beautiful hangar , airplane and a beautiful gal! Subscribed!
The 170B is a great airplane, and you have a really cool hangar. Great video.
Such a great video, Kristin. Proud of you, so stoked for more memories and adventures!
Thanks for encouraging me to start (even though my filming skills need some improvement 😅)
I didn't realize I needed a coffee bar in the hanger, until now. Beautiful airplane!
I'm addicted 😅
Thanks for the tour, Kristin. That OG poster is very cool! You have an awesome uncle who would get that for you.👍
Yes! Couldn't have asked for a better hangar warming gift 😊
Very nice hanger setup. That vintage refrigerator 😍
Thanks! I love it too! It was a great Amazon find.
Great first video! Good audio, good visuals and a comfy hanger. Your 170 brings back memories, I used to fly the A model with a Franklin. The Avcom conversion you have is a great upgrade. My wife and I have an Arrow but no hanger yet. She’s going to love what you’ve done with yours.
Thanks for the kind words! We really did put a looooot of work into the hangar. The Avcon conversion is fantastic. I was very lucky to have found a 170 with the engine STC. Hope you guys find a hangar soon! Would love to see it!
Congratulations on your plane and the beautiful place where your hangar is!
"Good flight, good views, good vibes". 🛩🛩🛩
Thank you! That's what it's all about : )
Nice first video. I'll be watching from Wyoming.
Love Wyoming! I do a lot of skiing out of Jackson, but never done any flying there! Have to get out there at some point!
Thanks for sharing! Love your setup.
Yay, great first video! I really never have been to the northeast so looking forward to seeing it. 😊
Thanks for the encouragement ☺. Hope I do it justice!
Love the Cessna 170 with the 180 constant speed prop so let’s get flying
YES! It really is a fantastic airplane with the O-360 and the constant speed.
Nice video…glad you came up in my feed!
Awesome, I do very similar flying down in Georgia. Your first Vid has a good vibe. Good luck. Subd
Definitely still learning how to film/edit, but so glad you enjoyed it! Nothing like flying taildraggers 😍
Parabens, otimo primeiro video, um belo hangar e um exelente 170....ficou tudo muito bom
Woot! Go Kristin!
Thanks! Still gotta get the taildraggers together!
Good luck with the channel. Beautiful airplane.
Great video. Loved it. You take such good care of chickadee :)
Her home is nicer than mine!
Great job, Vermont looks lovely.
It's a special place 🥰
Didn’t know you had UA-cam! Subd
First video….is great! You have all the elements. Keep them coming. Did you train on tail wheel or add?
Enjoyed your video!
Very cool!
I love this!!
Thanks girl!
Nice plane. I love flying TW.
Nothing better ... except for maybe floats sometimes 😁
Ok. You need to stop by for a latte lesson ! 🤩
I don't know what you're talking about. That was perfect foam 😅
Nice new channel, subscribed!
Not many IFR capable 170s out there. Beautiful birb.
Thank you!! I upgraded the panel last year, but still tried to keep a bit of the original feel to it. I managed to find some OG 170 bezels and am going to have an overlay made to bring back some of the old school feel, but with the modern gauges!
Did you get the 170 out of DeWitt Spain? Looks familiar
Congrats ,,
Put the extended baggage in my 170b, tons of room. Send it
What's more rare- a young woman who flies taildraggers, or a surfer who lives in Vermont? (I suspect the latter). If I ever pass through northern Vermont I'll say hi. I love seeing all the New England aviation content that's showing up.
Hence why I have the airplane 😂. Not much surfing to be done in Lake Champlain, but Maine is just a hop, skip, and a jump away! Say hi if you ever fly through VT!
Cool beans
Down and welded 🤣
ha ha she's not a retract, so they better be right? Or else we'd be in trouble.
The cut out of the landing 😂 I would’ve done the same
LOL not all landings in the 170 are perfect. The spring steel gear keeps you humble! This one was actually a good one...should've kept it in! Next time : )
What engine is in your 170?
It's a Lycoming O-360!
Just subscribed. Here for your content. Hope to know you more
Didn't buy that plane on a Barista salary!!! Lots of tips (i know you said former)
Get into the habit of starting & shutting down 90* to your hangar door. Or anyone else’s. Let’s say things happen and can be expensive.
